That song "Trophy Boy" at the beginning was such a bop. I listened to it the first time and ended up rewinding to listen to it again. It's cheesy and poppy but I can't lie, it was fun.

I think it’s okay her hair was in a pony tail. It shows she’s not against dresses or things like that but she just likes her hair a certain way and it kinda shows who she is.

This is why Cybersix did it the best. The titular character of that show disguises herself as a male during the day and actually pulls it off, even successfully hiding her chest.
One thing I really love about your suggested revision of it being Felipe's idea to run the gauntlet is that it would further emphasize how little he knows about love! Like, in the film the father says the gauntlet is to find one's true love, but imagine if instead the purpose of the gauntlet is changed to be more a rite of passage. Felipe's father went on the gauntlet as a way to test himself to see if he would be ready to be king, him meeting and falling in love with his wife was completely by coincidence. Perhaps Felipe's dad tells him the story of how he met his mother to try to explain love to Felipe, focusing on how they met and how by persevering through various challenges and getting to know each other they fell in love. In this version of the story the gauntlet is merely a set piece, it isn't what Felipe's father wants to be the main takeaway from the story. However, when Felipe hears the story, he misunderstands and believes that running the gauntlet leads you to your true love!
i just think if it was like the "'every maiden who sees him will fall in love with him' and then the love interest is the same except that she's blind" it would have been more interesting

I LOVED the changes you made! I agree this movie is not the best material but your spin elevated it so much! (also I love the trope of "you were sent to the ball to kill the prince" and it is not used ENOUGH)
Okay two things Ros Mo 1. In The Heights is coming out soon and if you haven't made plans to yet, you should watch it. Be prepared to CRY 2. I felt like with the romance we got A=C (Instead of A=B, B=C, therefore A=C) with no B. Like, we got Lenore having an epiphany to open her heart (A) and then it rushed to I love Felipe (C) with no part saying like, maybe I should look at the people I can open my heart to (B) does that make sense? Like, its almost like a jenga tower mid-game where you're like, missing some pieces but it still stands up?
I actually watched this and at the end before the main girl love interest (I’m just calling her that) kissed the prince the villain had a very clear shot to “put her to sleep forever” and I’m so mad the villain didn’t do that and didn’t win the fight when she could’ve overpowered both the protagonists easily
😱 🤣 *Are You Kidding Me! Your Versions Sounds Allot Better Than The Original! Some Parts Predictable, Some Parts Unpredictable, Some Parts Serious, & Some Parts Funny! This Is Movie Gold! An Oscar Winning Disney Movie Right There!* 🤣 😆 😄 *YOU'RE! A! GENIUS!* 😄
your idea for this movie is so mutch more interesting. the whole movie felt a bit off to me when i watched it, as well as the trailor spoiling most of the movie. charming felt like a knock of flin rider. and all the werid narration scean felt like a bad recreation of the emperos new grove (sorry for all the spelling mistakes)
I remember there was this one background joke where on a poster it said "free lawnmower" or something and it just had a picture of a goat and honestly for the rest of the movie I was still laughing about that
Saw it when it came out on Netflix and had more fun guessing/pointing out every part that was the same or near similar to litterally any Disney movie, especially the Princess movies
I’m legit so happy you talked about this movie! I was surprised how little people talked about it. I remember watching the movie on a shady movie streaming website before it was put on Netflix and I was disappointed at the wasted potential as I do love fairytale movies with a twist or satirical spin (like Prince Charming (2001) and Red Shoes and 7 Dwarves). The only character I liked was Felipe, which is ironic because I thought I was gonna hate him from the trailer dialogue but he was a loveable himbo with good intentions to me. I hated how the King acted negligent to Felipe, and wanted to have him pick a random princess out of lack of patience, but he should know very well that isn’t love?? Like he was married, he should know that- The villain, Neminy Neverwish (can never spell her name right) was disappointing because she never really does anything aside from putting the curse, ruining the date, and then deciding last minute to kill them. There was more they could’ve done with her, especially since I was interested with her backstory of being an ally to the King during war and becoming bitter over her unrequited feelings. Also sad that the princesses weren’t involved as much, it would’ve been funny if they joined the adventure or something. I actually hoped that Neverwish tried to manipulate Lenore. That would be interesting. Speaking of which, I don’t get why the Fairy Godmother was on the cover when she’s barely in the movie?? Maybe it’s because her actor is famous, idk but it was weird. Also tbh, most of the music was disappointing except for Trophy Boy.
The mouth thing drove me CRAZY. I thought maybe the movie was made in a different language and it was a dub thing where the mouth movements didn't match, but there wasn't even an option to change the language from english??? So like, what's the truth??? I LOOOVE your rewrites though, the fact that I felt more excitement from the "Look I know you're pretty... GOOD. PRETTY- GOOD. AT THIS" line than ANY other line in the actual film is very telling lmao
I was excited to see this movie. I really liked it and it surprised me because the trailer is misleading on the prince. The trailer made him look like a play boy hitting on any woman he sees but really he isn't. He is really just someone that wants to make all girls feel like a princess and wants to find real love. Whats makes him engaged to three women is fairy tale laws/rules. Over all he seems like a pretty good guy. I thought the songs were kind of catchy. I think by curse to never be loved they meant shutting her heart to it. I liked the movie but I liked your version better.
My brain doesn't even function so I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy this movie. Also, I'm no story expert, but I think your version was AMAZING. 10/10 would watch.
Well it’s not like he didn’t pay a heavy price for it. He tried to romance that main girl but instead he got a swift knee in the balls from her! 😭 That would have put him on the ground seeing stars for several minutes. Plus imagine how embarrassing that would’ve been to get taken down like that so easily by the girl you were trying to romance
Hi your idea of what the villainess could be doing (just checking in to what’s going on like she’s watching a soap opera) gave me an idea. Like imagine a villain who is a villain because they see that the main couple have chemistry and they wanted a believable way for them to get together and when they are not playing villain they are just watching the heroes on a screen or crystal ball (depending on setting) like it’s their favorite soap opera.
What if the curse of all girls falling in love with him was an actual curse to him. Because he's gay, and very much in love with someone else. Instead of the curse being a ticking time bomb, it's just a very annoying curse. The witch created it because she really loves the misunderstanding trope in romcoms (Which is why she is evil; because no one likes that trope) The movie is just about him trying to get the curse off him because he's afraid that the love interest might take the interactions with women the wrong way, and that it might ruin the slight chance that he has with the boy. The main character also can't let the love interest know about his curse, since the witch thought that it would ruin the misunderstandings. If the love interest knows about the curse before it is broken, his love for the main character will cease to exist. So the main character has to keep up a lie that he has a different curse, and that this adventure is just to find an object that will help with it. The reason they are even on this adventure in the first place is because everyone in the palace thinks they should be together already, and that an adventure with just the two of them will help push them together
I was thinking something similar like, what if he went to the adventure with a theif but its a man so the curse doesn't affect him, and in the course of the movie they fall in love with each other; it would make more sense
Would also work if the lead had hobbies or interests that he doesn't even care about love. Heck, might as well have a hatred for love since if there was a plot that he doesn't want to end up like divorced parents, or love makes him weak and prefers power
My mom thought she threw him in front of the magic beam and killed him, instead of him protecting her with his body. The way it was animated kinda made it look like that and it was pretty funny XD
Oh my gosh, literally most of wha th you said is how I was feeling about this movie. It's like you read my mind. I don't think that the romance was done too well. I just felt like their chemistry was kind of lacking. I would've liked it if Lenore was also under a curse. I know that she was given some backstory, but I still didn't care for her that much. I wish I could explain it better.
Wait... I remember watching the trailer of this movie! I thought it was one of those movies that never came out in the end lmao Edit: your rewrite was... Pretty nice! Better than mine (which is some tweaks plus making it gay lmao),loved it,really! And your drawings are so cute!!
I love this new plot so much, I was so excited about the trailer a year or two before the movie came out but this is what we ended with. I just found this channel but I was immediately drawn in by how many movies we both like. ❤
I am so happy TH-cam recommended this video!! 👏😍😃 This was super entertaining and you're awesome, I love how you fixed most of the problems I had with the movie. Even making some drawings to have a better picture to what you could change!! (The film that I actually enjoyed too, but I still had 80% of it being weird to me and pretty much liked the same parts you mentioned) Also, I'm a Filipina and it's really cool that you post videos/reviews and you can speak english pretty well btw, I'm impressed!! 😂😱💕
My own personal headcanon about Lenorez going into the movie, because I had only been told about it and heard Trophy Boy before watching, was that Lenore was either a Lesbian or Bi, because if the curse had no affect on her, maybe she was just gay and wouldn't get with Philipe at the end, but hey I've been wrong about these things before
Her being immune was really dumb to me, but the concept might be a decent excuse for a gay romance if they wanted to go with that. At least it would make sense how he would be able to see what is true love and not the curse.

I LOVED the changes you made! I agree this movie is not the best material but your spin elevated it so much! (also I love the trope of "you were sent to the ball to kill the prince" and it is not used ENOUGH)
Okay two things Ros Mo
1. In The Heights is coming out soon and if you haven't made plans to yet, you should watch it. Be prepared to CRY
2. I felt like with the romance we got A=C (Instead of A=B, B=C, therefore A=C) with no B. Like, we got Lenore having an epiphany to open her heart (A) and then it rushed to I love Felipe (C) with no part saying like, maybe I should look at the people I can open my heart to (B)
does that make sense? Like, its almost like a jenga tower mid-game where you're like, missing some pieces but it still stands up?
Yess! You should have been part of the making of that movie!
I like how u covered 3 movies that I've literally watched b4 it's almost eerie👍🏻 (like in a good way)😂😂
I admit, your script/changes would make the movie 500x better.
An Oscar Winning Disney Movie Right There!* 🤣 😆
😄 *YOU'RE! A! GENIUS!* 😄
When she talked in tagalog it caught me off guard and made me wheeze. Man I love this video.
I love this type of your video ❤️
You’re our Queeen, Rosmo 💖
what if lenore was ace/aro and they found true platonic love
your idea for this movie is so mutch more interesting. the whole movie felt a bit off to me when i watched it, as well as the trailor spoiling most of the movie. charming felt like a knock of flin rider. and all the werid narration scean felt like a bad recreation of the emperos new grove (sorry for all the spelling mistakes)
I like your version better, because there's actual love development.
I remember there was this one background joke where on a poster it said "free lawnmower" or something and it just had a picture of a goat and honestly for the rest of the movie I was still laughing about that
The way you drew the half Oracle character really made me catch feelings-
My gay lil’ heart can’t keep doing this!
Saw it when it came out on Netflix and had more fun guessing/pointing out every part that was the same or near similar to litterally any Disney movie, especially the Princess movies
I say your version is better, at least there's actual love development going on.👸🏻🤴🏻💖👑💍
I’m legit so happy you talked about this movie!
Like he was married, he should know that-
The villain, Neminy Neverwish (can never spell her name right) was disappointing because she never really does anything aside from putting the curse, ruining the date, and then deciding last minute to kill them.
Hey you’re still doing great! It’s wonderful to see you grow after all these years!!!
Aww thank you so muchhh! Really! 😭😍
15:50 I've rewatched Ella Enchanted *TOO* *_MANY TIMES_*
My sister and I actually got a kick out of that inner dialogue scene with Felipe.
I swear that the cardinal always reminded me of Flapjack from The Owl House.
YES.
I watched it a couple years ago, AND I HATED IT!!!!!!!! Sorry, Rrrrrrrrosmo, you are my favorite TH-camr ever and I would never try to insult you!🩷
I remember watching this really late at night. The romance made it feel like a fever dream.
Same.
My brain doesn't even function so I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy this movie. Also, I'm no story expert, but I think your version was AMAZING. 10/10 would watch.
I like how everyone in this story basically dismissed the fact that the supposed hero was playing three innocent, traumatised girls at the same time.
The bits of changes to the movie was absolutely hilarious and amazing! I just love that type of dynamic
I was kinda wondering what if the love interest was actually a guy so then it wouldn't be off why they weren't interested in him when they first meet-
I like this review Ros Mo!❤ And I liked how you spoke Filipino here. -> 5:54
Also, I laughed a little here with those imaginated dialogs. -> 13:55
I thought it was weirdly good. And I wouldn't mind a sequel. 😅 I agree to everything u said.😂
What if the curse of all girls falling in love with him was an actual curse to him.
Alternatively, what if the girl was lesbian?
I was thinking something similar like, what if he went to the adventure with a theif but its a man so the curse doesn't affect him, and in the course of the movie they fall in love with each other; it would make more sense
Would also work if the lead had hobbies or interests that he doesn't even care about love. Heck, might as well have a hatred for love since if there was a plot that he doesn't want to end up like divorced parents, or love makes him weak and prefers power
I actually really like silly puns, so “gaunt-tastic” made me chuckle
My mom thought she threw him in front of the magic beam and killed him, instead of him protecting her with his body. The way it was animated kinda made it look like that and it was pretty funny XD
*"Have like Merlin levels of attractiveness"*
Dude don't get me started on my sudden crush on Merlin 😂
Thank you for this fun review and rewrite qween. Love your channel! Stay true to yourself always 🤗💖
"I'm like a bar of soap!" Is by far my favorite part of the movie
Oh my gosh, literally most of wha th you said is how I was feeling about this movie. It's like you read my mind.
I don't think that the romance was done too well. I just felt like their chemistry was kind of lacking. I would've liked it if Lenore was also under a curse. I know that she was given some backstory, but I still didn't care for her that much. I wish I could explain it better.
The intro in every video is perfect.
Wait... I remember watching the trailer of this movie! I thought it was one of those movies that never came out in the end lmao
Edit: your rewrite was...
When you realise the man who played Philipé is also Handy Manny and Agustín from Encanto: 😨
Honestly your revised version would be so much better then the actual movie yeah 🍿🎥
i love that you either help me find new movies and shows (call out to princess tutu!!! scream i loved it!) i love finding new videos of ur channels
The best part of this movie is that Handy Manny was in it
I am so happy TH-cam recommended this video!! 👏😍😃
This was super entertaining and you're awesome, I love how you fixed most of the problems I had with the movie. Even making some drawings to have a better picture to what you could change!! (The film that I actually enjoyed too, but I still had 80% of it being weird to me and pretty much liked the same parts you mentioned)
Also, I'm a Filipina and it's really cool that you post videos/reviews and you can speak english pretty well btw, I'm impressed!!
Your revision was soo amazing !!!
Thank youu!!
First time viewer, possibly a future subscriber; I haven't seen this movie but damn I'd love to see your version of it haha.
The actor that voiced Phelipy also voiced Augustine from Encanto which came out 2 years after. Based on the original release date.
