Experiencing Yosemite's Rarest Waterfall

Come along with us as we spend the day in Yosemite awaiting the natural phenomenon known as the "Firefall" on horsetail falls. We'll show you our day itenirery as well as where we set up for the best views of Firefall.
Firefall typically occurs towards the end of the winter season, during the month of February. Yosemite now has a reservation system for weekends during the Firefall season. We are from Alaska and was able to visit Yosemite/Sequoia NP for a week and it wasn't enough time, I was so curious what this looked like after I read about it in numerous guides and books about the park. Thank you so much for sharing :)

Being from central California ourselves, we love hiking Yosemite. One thing we haven’t experienced though is firefall. One day. Nice video!

Hopefully you get to see it in person someday, it’s definitely worth it. Last year we weren’t able to get a reservation and this year we got lucky that our friends were able to secure one. Thanks, we’ll catch you on the trails🤙🏼
