    una duda extra para Bernando..yo ya tengo mi SOTO stove, es permitido llevar el cilindro al parque y poderse preparar algo en los senderos donde estuvieron? tienen alguna pagina favorita para ver las condiciones de acumulacion de nieve cuando van en invierno? ya tengo apuntado el tel para las condiciones de calle.

      Si nunca e tenido ningún problema al usar la nuestra, lo que usualmente restringen es hacer una fogata en cierta partes del parque si no estás en una área de picnic. Y usualmente uso la página de Yosemite y chekeo las live webcams.

      @@roamingthetrails hola muchas gracias por la respuesta! mi plan es salir de San Francisco el 1ero de Feb... y nos quedamos hasta el 3 de Feb que iriamos de regreso directo a SFO (espero que el calculo de google sea correcto con la duracion del viaje)...nunca he manejado con nieve o con posibilidad de black ice... desde ya compre lo que recomendo su pareja para los pies! estaba en oferta en $24! usd en que parte del invierno fueron? algo que no entendi de ese trail tan largo que hiceron es: dejaron el carro abajo...subieron bastante y luego se regresaron por la calle publica es? de nuevo todo eso hasta el parking lot?!

    • @roamingthetrails
      @roamingthetrails 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Mientras manejes con cuidado todo va a estar bien, despacio y con cuidado cuando hay nieve o hielo es mejor manejar mucho más despacio si no eres confiado en la nieve. Cada temporada de invierno cambia pero cuando nostros fuimos este año pasado fue la primera semana de Febrero y si viajas temprano no hay nada de tráfico en las carreteras. Usualmente vamos una vees por mes, el highway 140 sabe tener mucho menos nieve en el invierno, pero el highway 41 (entrada sur a Yosemite) es más cerca a mariposa grove pero sabe tener más curvas y hielo/nieve. Y el trail de mariposa grove corre muy cercas de la carretera. Pero en el invierno la carretera que usualement se usa para al autobús está cerrada así que tienes que dejar tu carro en el parking lot que está abajo. Tienes que caminar a yegar a mariposa grove por el trail o por la carretera. Las dos son casi igual de distancia pero el trail se me hace más bonito.

    Awesome review man. Only thing I’m having trouble understanding is your con being that the toecap is wearing away. As far as I’d imagine, thats the whole point! Your toe is what takes all of the beating when walking into any bramble, sticks, stones, kicking dirt etc. so of course they added the extra layer of vibram over the top of your toe!

    The Seatosummit Aeros Pillow has an adjustable valve, the little blue button when you lift the 1st tab, that allows you to adjust the hardness/softness of the pillow. Yes, you can wash it, obviously not putting it in the washing machine, but when deflated and with the valves closed, it can be hand wash. I had mine for quite a few years now and still going strong.

    I have the 34L and experienced the same side-pocket zipper issue but found a solution. When you have the pack on and snug around you, go ahead and cinch up the lower strap connected to each pocket. This will keep the pockets taut, making it easier to use the zipper. Otherwise, a loose strap can cause the pocket to fold over on itself when tugging on the zipper. Look at it this way -“ if won’t zip then, then fits not legit” 😂 Hope this works for you & others.

    I purchased a pair of these about 6 months ago and have since hiked about 200 to 300 miles in them. Comfortable, well built, stable platform, all great. The one thing that is needed is additional scuff protection over the toe. The trails I hike are often rocky, littered with large, sharp rocks and boulders that tend to scuff the toes. I had a cobbler laminate a piece of rubber on the toe so that I don't prematurely wear a hole through the toe. Something that Danner should do at the factory.

    Nice review. I'm on my 3rd pair. The first pair leaked water and Vivo replaced it for free outside their warranty period which was great. Retired the 2nd pair after 6 years of mostly uneven forest hiking off trail. These shoes were actually narrower than the first pair despite same size which was annoying as my feet are wide for my height which is why I bought them (along with zero drop benefits). Bought 3rd pair and despite only a few years old have used them on average at least twice a week, so heavy use. Still narrow for my foot and almost impossible to take off after hiking with no socks! Otherwise I love these boots, almost impossible to twist your ankle when laced up normally, excellent dry grip, and ankle support. You do feel rocks so you have to tread carefully as is the barefoot design philosophy. My only gripes are the laces are difficult to lock in the first hoop and the rubber tends to come apart off the leather. The hoop issue is just irritating for me but the rubber I've found has come away after only a few months on all my boots. It's only come off a few mm but in all the high stress areas. I will need to get it re glued soon.
