    Just so you know, regarding the request to have adjustable color lighting, they reserve that for their highest model of seat which costs $2k per individual seat, as if changing color of LEDs is some kind of luxurious and expensive feature.

    The seat looks cool but I tend to shy away from companies that give away free products for reviews. Valencia is heavily known for this. I'm glad you're enjoying the seat, pretty good price. I have a Palliser and Octane seat in my small home theater. Octane xl is nice but it could use more padding. Now my Palliser is just a beast of a chair. Really nice comfort, excellent padding and good tailoring. I went with leather grade 3000 on the leather/match and for that one chair it cost me a little over 2,000. I kinda wish I went with Jaymar (another Canadian brand like Palliser) but for now this will do.
    ps, that squeaky sound is just the leather rubbing together. If you wanna get rid of that sound just take a block of wax and rub it on the spot where the noise it's coming from. Usually it's on the inner side/corner of seat. Should fix that problem in no time.

      Well then you will be glad to know that I bought these chairs with my own money without Valencia offering them to me for free. I bought them before I even had a YT channel. So you found a good ol' honest review without incentive. I like Palliser too, I am from Manitoba and those are made in Winnipeg, so they get hometown support from me.

    If the squeak gets worse get some silicone spray, and spray a little on a microfiber towel and wipe the spots that make noise.

    I got my two Verona’s last week, and I’m kind of concerned. I am having an extremely hard time getting comfortable in them. Tonight was the worst, as I was feeling pressure points throughout my upper and lower back. I’ve also been having some issues with the powered headrest having some give to it, so I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the char itself. I’m absolutely dreading the thought of going through a return process, especially since the delivery company was a disaster. Were you comfortable in the seats right from the start, or did it take a bit?

    • @jcap8391
      @jcap8391 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I sat in alot of Valencia chairs. They all blow for comfort unless you're a hefty bigger person. If you are thin or lean ur pretty much fooked. You are better off not getting a chair that looks like a racing seat with weeener kid lights

    • @SpecOfTech
      @SpecOfTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I found them to be quite comfortable right away. I also know quite a few others that have purchased Valencia seating and are quite happy with the comfort. These people range in size and weight, so I don't believe weight or size has anything to do with it. Now, of course not every chair is for everyone, just like, not every mattress is for everyone. I find these chairs to be about in the middle for plush and firmness. They aren't too firm and aren't too soft. I think they were going for the Goldilocks effect, of being just right in the middle, but even this isn't for everyone. I do imagine that they will soften up over time, if you are finding them too stiff, that probably will change over time. This may be a case where these chairs just aren't right for you as an individual, but only you can decide that. I hope that helps, and good luck with whatever you decide to do!

      A lot of times this is because the previous chairs you had fit your back slightly differently. Especially if your previous chai had more cushion and your back sank into it. When I first got my over priced Lazy boys I had the same issue as you and that went away after a while. Then when I got the Valencia I had the same issue again. Once again once your back gets use to it it will be comfortable. My Lazy boyz were softer and my back would sink in, The Valencia are a firmer, but still comfortable cushion and I believe better for my back than the lazy boy.
      I would give it a couple weeks and see how you feel. I have no problems sitting in them for hours.

    GREAT video. I"m close to buying a Tuscany XL.....but I am worried that it's "too big" for my little wife and kids. Also, I've read a few comments on lumbar -- and I'm not sure I wan t that sticking into my back. Verona....."simplicity" is what I see. I'm almost thinking to go Verona over Tuscany XL. I'M 6FT TALL..... 250 POUNDS....do you think this chair would fit me ok? or would it be too small. Thanks

    • @SpecOfTech
      @SpecOfTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. The lumbar support is adjustable on the Tuscany, and I have never had an issue with it being uncomfortable. Of course if you have it in the utmost furthest forward position it would most certainly be uncomfortable for most, but then you can just adjust it for your comfort. So, I wouldn't cross them off based on the lumbar support, to be honest. That being said the Verona was a great chair. I am 5' 11" and was about 260 when I had the Verona's, and I never had an issue. I don't imagine you being 1" taller would change that a whole lot, but you would be on the verge of being too tall for the Verona. If you do get the Verona, I would still strongly recommend the adjustable headrest, that thing is heaven sent, so handy to have. I hope this helps...cheers.

    Great review...very helpful. Thank you! With that tray table inserted, is the beverage holder on that same armrest still usable, or is it blocked by the table (and thus you can't use both the table and cup holder on that side at the same time). Thanks!

    • @SpecOfTech
      @SpecOfTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With the tray table inserted, the cup holder is basically unusable. If you have a fairly short glass it can still sit in there, but he tray table will be overtop, preventing you from getting the glass out easily. That being said, if you turn the tray so that the lengthy portion is facing away from the chair, the cupholder is usable, I hope that makes sense.

      I don't have the Verona's, but I've had the Tuscanys for a couple of months now. I find them fairly stiff and bulging in the seat back. We had a back that was sewn all wanky so they sent us a new one real quick, but they didn't want the old one back so that let us pull the messed up one apart & look inside. I was surprised to find there was not any foam inside. They use batting. The Tuscany backs bulge out in the center. I'm not sure what makes these a little uncomfortable. Is it the use of batting/ too much batting? Is it stiff leather, not as soft as I was expecting but not bad. They claim they will break in over time, but I'll just have to wait & see.
      Things I'm not thrilled with:
      Absolute worst cup holders I've ever seen. They won't fit a 32 oz Yeti cup. They have ridges in the bottom & are wider than a soda bottle & not that deep. This makes a soda bottle tip to one side. It's just an overall poor design.
      The accessory holder doesn't appear to be solid all the way down. It seems to be open below the initial top part of the hole, allowing the table to tilt down on the far end. In fact, you can use your hand to push the table up & down way more than what I consider acceptable. That, along with the slick ass table they sell you, makes you have to be very careful with what you put on it. Laptops & cups slide off pretty easily. Their commercial seating looks to have a much more substantial support system & larger tables. These need to be at least somewhere in between the two.

      Comfort wise I would say they are basically the same. The Verona are very comfortable as well. Looks wise the Verona is pretty plain and basic, but some may prefer that look. IMO, the Tuscany look much nicer and had a lot more features. I do believe the Verona are available with the same features now, like adjustable headrest and lumbar though. For the most part I would base a decision on the two between their looks.
