I have 8 Valencia Tuscany recliners in my theater (2 love seats in the back and 1 4 seat row in the front) and they are fantastic. I really like the new upgraded version, but it's hard to justify swapping them out with how good these hold up. I am 18 months in and they look brand new with regular use. Anyone considering these should purchase without any fear about quality.

Does the current headrest raise up and out on the current model or do they just pivot out? I’m hearing conflicting info and wondering before I order
They finally went RGB on the lights? Now I am even more glad I waited. Long as it isn't too much of a premium, those will be my chairs, whenever I get a set.
Then again, maybe not, $1000 premium for the luxury, $1800 for the ultimate luxury. and that's on sale. I wish they would just offer the lighting package upgrade on the Premiere for like $250 or something, or better yet, as the current price, and offer the original lighting while supplies last at a discount. We'll see how prices shake out going forward, otherwise, maybe premier it is, I already have an rgb strip under my seating anyway that works on remote and voice assistants. Alexa/google intergration on these chairs would be a nice touch actually.
I agree Alexa/Google integration would be a very helpful feature. I am glad they finally went RGB as well, it was a suggestion I made to them when I received the Tuscanys. I also agree that they should make the RGB lighting available for the whole lineup and maybe they will.
$1800 per seat is a bit pricey especially if you are looking to purchase four chairs.

I bought the Tuscany sets, and within a year the were all broke and the service department was the worst. They sent me parts that were unpackaged and used. They didn't work and I still don't have working seating after 2 years. If you want good quality chairs, don't by Valencia products. I will say the leather is good.

I do have to say, that isn't typical from my experience. I have had 12 of their chairs over the past 4 years or so, and none of them even so much as had a light burn out.

I bought a sofa and love seat from Valencia a few years ago. They are similar to the ones in this video. Out of 4 control panels, 3 of them stopped functioning. One stopped working within a few months and i replaced it. Valencia sent the first replacement panel free of charge. Then shortly afterwards, BOTH panels on the love seat stopped working, and Valencia is asking $100 each for replacement panels. Overall, I'm not at all impressed with the sofas, especially for the high price. I ordered mine with the top-of the line leather, but I don't see or feel any difference in quality from any other sofa leather. I'm beginning to think maybe it isn't the top grade leather after all. The fit and build quality are less than average. You can feel hard lumps in one of the sofa seat cushions. One of the seats is also tilted at a slight but noticeable angle. The overall workmanship is just not very good. You would do better to just go to your local furniture store for a similar item at a fraction of the price instead of spending extra money on having it "custom made" by Valencia.
I have no doubt they are of excellent quality. I had a row of 3 theater chairs, different make, and they had the all important adjustable head rest. Didn’t have that cool lumbar. And while the leather squeaked, nowhere near as loud as yours. You do a good job on your videos. Enjoy watching them. I wound up giving my chairs away and replaced them with a large sectional sofa with a chaise. I know one company, Not sure which, maybe Tuscany, makes XL chairs. I’ve never tried them. But I’m 6’ tall, which is not exceptional in any way, and my feet hang off almost every recliner which I find very uncomfortable. Also as you said, you almost always recline. I find the reason for that is theater seats are just not great to sit up straight in. They are somewhat confining. This is just my personal opinion. I realize they add to the aura of having a dedicated theater. I always think about getting another set, but a nice cushy couch is just more comfortable.
Thanks for watching. You are right, Valencia makes the Tuscany XL which is for larger individuals. If you haven't seen Life of Bliss on TH-cam, he uses the XL version. I don't disagree, a nice comfortable couch has it's place as well. In all honesty, whatever is most comfortable for you, is what you should use. Home theater chairs do add a nice aesthetic, and a nice cinema authenticity to the room.
My Tuscany sears do not have any leather squeaks but did pick up a few scratches from my jeans.
So it’s conflicting wether a new order would get the headrest that rises up or if it just pivots ?

I am 5' 11". They are able to make the Tuscany Ultimate Luxury chair in their XL version.

What kind of television do you have? Have you seen any of these new 8k tvs? If so what are your thoughts?
I have an LG C1 77" OLED TV. Most 8K TV's have a beautiful picture, but in all honesty it's not needed. There is hardly any 8K content out there, so for the most part you won't be able to enjoy the 8K resolution. I would much rather spend the money on a better panel 4K television.

@@halffast1850 There are some main differences. The most simple way to put it is like this; if you are in a bright room with lots of natural light, I would lean towards QLED, in all other situations the OLED takes it. The OLED has infinite contrast and wins out in PQ in all other circumstances, but they can't get nearly as bright as QLED. So, in a bright room QLED will maintain a great bright picture. QLED's have come a long way, and still provide an amazing picture, but their blacks levels are almost always much worse than an OLED, even with full array local dimming. Hope that helps...cheers.

I'd like to see you and your patreons get into a 98" or 100" TV. I think it would expand your scope and balance out those monster speakers, theater chairs and subwoofers to align with the same type of immersion screen.
