I'm more curious as to whether or not one of Mega Man's lemons can KO him since they're just about the weakest thing in the game knockback wise.
Mario's fireballs still scale enough to KO someone, where as no amount of damage boosting/weight reducing via options, spirits, and/or items seems capable of making a lemon lethal under normal circumstances.

@@donovanmahan2901 I guess I should've clarified that by "normal" I was meaning without use of hacks/mods, since fireballs can kill if you're running 2x damage ratio, spirits (Demon style Akuma seems to have the highest boost), 999% damage, Super/Poison Mushrooms, Xerneas, and all that stuff.
The lemons are still far from being able to kill with seemingly any amount of multiplier stacking (At least at max range, since up close they gain significantly higher knockback scaling).
The only thing I didn't test was a max-reflected lemon under those same conditions because setting that up is rather difficult.
I knew what was going on just by the thumbnail, no title needed.

This is sad but as a shulk main, I was confused as to why when shulk in buster art hits a shield he goes flying.
Does incineroars revenge apply with the monads
@@jesusjimenez6755 Basically, hitting a shield with any move pushes you back a small amount. With the huge amps to buster's damage, especially on shield, it also amps how far it pushes you away.
So in other words, buster shulk takes 100x the pushback after hitting a shield. Combined with the 100x shield damage, which also affects how far it pushes you back, I think.

@@joseph_arrow The Jump (Time) Stone, the Speed (Space) Stone, the Shield (Mind) Stone, the Buster (Power) Stone, and the Smash (Reality) Stone. Only one he doesn't have is the Soul Stone, because that gives him an extra stock, so it was too OP and Sakurai removed it.
(I based these on color but some of them make sense...)
I think if he put all the stones in the Monado at once, the power would destroy him, after he wiped out half the roster and prevented them from appearing in the next Smash Bros game.

The reason is that hitting a shield with any move causes pushback to the one shielding, and slightly less pushback to the one attacking (if they use a physical, grounded move, such as the Jab shown in the video around 0:36 ). It's dependent on damage, not knockback (from what I can tell). That's why in the base game, Finishing Touch pushes you nowhere when shielded, but a Reverse Warlock Punch pushes you back a fair bit. And with Buster, the results are obviously quite crazy. You get flung back super far even to Jab, which deals 2% normally, but 280% here (And 333.2 Shield Damage, since shields take an extra 19% damage from any move). And while Mewtwo *would* have gotten flung back, he didn't because his shield broke. You'd need to be in Shield to survive it, but then damage is reduced, you actually take 0.005x damage, so it's the pushback of a move dealing 1.4%... Plus parries don't push you back at all... Yeah. Basically, high damage on a shield means you get pushed back real far.

Yup, provided they change damage. Revenge's formula is 0.0075d + 1.25, where the resulting number is multiplier. Normally, it has a cap of 3, but Vish has done several videos showing it with no cap at all. Every Monado Art but Jump changes Shulk's damage output (Shield, Smash, and Speed lower it, while Buster increases it), so they'd change the multiplier that Revenge gives.

For the most part, yes. Marth's and Lucina's depends on actual knockback, it's just a real strong hit. So yes, with 0.005x knockback taken, you'd likely survive it at any percent. Other Final Smashes, however (Zelda, Bayo, Ridley, even G&W), work differently. Those first three examples kill after a certain percent, regardless of knockback. Shield would basically negate the damage leading up to that final hit, but if he's over 100%, then he's outta there. Game and Watch's Final Smash is a grab that drags you to the blastzone, so that works just like any other grab. Gotta mash. But most Final Smashes are just pure knockback, which you're gonna survive just fine.
