hahaha...this is hysterical ...gotta love John and Marie..never heard her sing but these two are just AWESOME! they do justice to every theme lol. this made my Xmas. thanks :)
John has such a dynamic and his sound has a wonderful booming quality like a John Rait or Alfred Drake. He brings out such wonderful vocal qualities in Marie, that she (up to that point in time) has rarely used. I think one of the key reasons is Donny's sound as unique as it was/is, is a much quieter sound, so Marie just kind of went along for the ride, but with John; Marie's competitiveness and vocal abilities really begin to shine as she goes head to head with John.
Why has nobody ever thought of writing a Broadway romantic-style comedy for these two very under-rated performers to star in during that time period. Such a missed opportunity.
Oh my, I haven't seen this since it first aired! Recorded it on my cassette player. I hope someone puts some of his Mike Douglas Show appearances on here.

love this vid always..one thing i never got..when she grabs him by the shirt and they say those lines, and they do the ear pull thing and are like "sorry rechter. (sorry cant spell that) Hi gerald" wth is that about? omg this woulda been funny to see in person..specially if they did more themes. wonder if Tom saw this lol.
They pulled their ear lobes and saidn "Hi Carol" as a nod to the Carol Burnett Show. Carol always tugged her earlobe each episode to let her mom know she was all right.
@@downychick heh thanks....couldnt get subtitles....sounded like "sorry recter..hi gerald" weird lol. they should do another medley video for 21st century :) be kinda cool..80s 90s and early 2000s
If I wasn't just a little tike back then and if I were the age I am now then I definately would have been in a relationship with John Schneider I would be doing this to him at 2:27 instead of Marie Osmond looking down his shirt I would replace myself with her doing that!
Marie and John missing KOJAK theme song - This show starring Telly Savalas Columbo theme song - this show starring Peter Falk Mash theme song - this show starring Jamie Farr and Alan Alda The Andy Griffith Show theme song - This show starring Andy Griffith The Bob Newhart show theme song - this show starring Bob Newhart Perry Mason theme song - this show starring Raymond Burr I Love Lucy theme song - this show starring Lucille Ball Charlie's Angels theme song - this show starring Farrah Fawcett
I still, wish they had a more dynamic director/choreographer/staging person. I enjoy this every time I watch it, but it is so boring in its use of the stage and the dance steps.
John Schneider said this performance was cocaine induced. He bragged that he and Marie snorted coke in the bathroom right before this performance The audience was absolutely appalled and outraged. Marie later said her conscience was bothered when they snorted coke and got drunk on champagne before performing for their children’s hospital charity for kids with cancer
I disagree, whether they are the best or aren't it's fun memories listening to all those songs!!!!!! Nothing beats enjoying the 70's and 80's. And they're so cute when they were young. That probably took a lot of time practising and putting all the songs together. Lighten up people 🤣❤️
I love John and Marie and they are so cute together and they sing really great and they have fun doing it!!!!
I love that they sang the older TV show themes! Cool!
I LOVE THIS! John & Marie are always so charming together. I wish I could have seen them in Las Vegas together this past year.
She was in Vegas with Donny. Not John S.
Back in the good old days. Love these two.
hahaha...this is hysterical ...gotta love John and Marie..never heard her sing but these two are just AWESOME! they do justice to every theme lol. this made my Xmas. thanks :)
This is so cool and great love it and great tv theme song this so cool and awesome
Seeing for the first time. Marie and John can sing good together. First time hearing John siing
Aaaaaaa! That brings me back to childhood!!! Thank you John & Marie
How stunning--both of them!
Whoever the musical/orchestral arranger is, he did some really outstanding work.
Awesome thanks for the memory
Wow. I still love these guys.
I like how Marie sang the theme to ALICE Combining the third season theme, and ending it with the last part of season one’s theme

John voice is sexy.
He is so in love with Marie.
I saw John Schneider on Broadway a few years ago. He was Billy in Chicago
Why has nobody ever thought of writing a Broadway romantic-style comedy for these two very under-rated performers to star in during that time period. Such a missed opportunity.
They’re so great.
Marie Osmond's voice is as good or better than ANYONE's!
Have you heard her singing opera yet, beautiful voice
Oh my, I haven't seen this since it first aired! Recorded it on my cassette player. I hope someone puts some of his Mike Douglas Show appearances on here.
Ya love this
love them both
I never realized how short Marie is till she was beside John. He says he’s 6’2” and a little bit of pocket change.
I love you John
This is brilliant.
I found this from Marie’s message today.
I didn’t realise what a great voice John has. x
This incredible thanks for the upload

@Molina,
The 18th theme comes from Mickey Mouse Club.
the only one missing is the LOVE BOAT
Oops, number 4 is The Mary Tyler Moore Show, not That Girl.

2:22 I saved this theme song for a ringtone
At 2:22 is the theme of Hawaii Five - 0 with Jack Lord as the original Steve McGarrett.

Incredible he’s barely 19 and marie is 21. I was flipping burgers at their age.
The awkward crowd silence at 2:32 is just... awkward.
How many do you remember and can you name them
@DL Minier: do you have these songs sung by Donny and Marie?
can someone please tell me the list of tv themes? thanks :)
Shoulders Pads Ladies!!!!!
and a much older John
Watching this is thinking to himself
“Can’t believe my hair looked like that many years ago
🤪LOL 😂😂😂😂😂
John Schneider and Marie Osmond singing the theme from The Jeffersons is easily the whitest thing I've ever seen in my life.
Obviously you didn’t watch the whole thing. Goodtimes is better😂
6:06-6:07 I like this part
This is insane and amazing at the same time! They do great harmonies. But they need to say "took a whole lotta tuh-ryyy-in".....not "trying" :)
John was pretty good in Eddie Macon's Run. He should've had a better career!
Sigh I had the biggest crush on Marie did u?
Back when this show was worth watching...now it's nothing but hate speach
anyone know where I can find John schneider sings babe by styx? from new years rockin eve?
Google It and see about TH-cam
John Schneider Babe
And of course John would sing the dukes theam song
My only disappointment was no Family Ties theme! Otherwise, awesome
OK, then totally forgivable, LOL. ;)
There's plenty of good themes they could have done. Enough for another vid like this
no love boat? lol
She dated him I think. They did make a good looking couple.
I still, wish they had a more dynamic director/choreographer/staging person. I enjoy this every time I watch it, but it is so boring in its use of the stage and the dance steps.
Wish John sang pop instead of country. He could have been a lot more popular. But anyhow, he has a place in my heart 💓. His looks & voice.
)
Y Nd rrrrrrrrrrrrrr it has words
YIKES! her voice is HARSH!!!
?
Marie’s career was in the toilet here.
I'd be pissed off if I was in this audience. What a load of crap.
They aren't the best singers!
No. But they are a couple of the greatest singers to ever live. Johnny Cash is the greatest male singer and June Carter is the greatest female singer.
I prefer Karen Carpenter as the best female singer ever.
Justin W Well that is your opinion.
Justin W Those jingles were not the best material either. I think it safe to say that they flopped on this.
I disagree, whether they are the best or aren't it's fun memories listening to all those songs!!!!!! Nothing beats enjoying the 70's and 80's. And they're so cute when they were young. That probably took a lot of time practising and putting all the songs together. Lighten up people 🤣❤️
