It's an absolute crime that Jason Alexander is the only main cast member of Seinfeld not to win an Emmy. Michael Richards was great as Kramer but one of those awards should've been for George.
Jason Alexander is so talented and versatile. For someone trained in dance, singing and theatre - he was incredible as George on tv. He really should have won an Emmy for Seinfeld... especially after this performance.
Quite a few television stars were originally Broadway musical performers such as Tom Bosley, Hal Linden and Jason Alexander. People are often surprised at how well they can sing and dance not knowing their stage talents.
That was incredible. I knew he was in Merrily We Roll Along but that sure didn't show his talent. What a brilliant well thought-out perfectly performed number! Thanks for sharing it!

That was GREAT! :) I would have counted the shows, but I'm British and didn't know where some of the songs changed. Here in the UK, Seinfeld was on Tuesday nights at 11.15pm on a minor channel. It's kind of annoying… one of the funniest TV shows ever, and it was treated like trash! But I eat trash :) I was one of the few who stayed up late to watch it.
It sucks that Seinfeld never had a chance in the UK. Why on BBC 2 instead of Channel 4 like every other big sitcom? And even since then, they never brought it back. It's popped up on All4, Prime and Netflix but never on Channel 4 or E4 or anything. Friends, Frasier, Cheers are pretty popular because they show them regularly so why not do it with Seinfeld

They wanted to give him an Emmy, but on the day of the event, "believe it or not George wasn't at home"...
😂 😂 😂
George was THE character on that show. They should have called it Costanza.
I agree with you
George was absolutely amazing and should have won atleast an emmy. Emmy did not deserve him.
Wow he was totally robbed. George Costanza is one of the greatest TV characters of all time.
They had to redo George's answering machine because Jason Alexander originally sang it way to well for a character like George.
Oh that's interesting... I noticed that he deliberately sang it imperfectly and I gave Jason the credit for trying to stay in character.
😄😄😄 Oh, I love that!
Anyone else disappointed that he didn't include Greatest American Hero?
Jason Alexander HIMSELF brought me here

Amazing!! Noticing Alan Alda at the end they didn’t get MASH in there and that’s an absolute classic and so heart felt tv theme song
Not sure "Suicide is Painless" would have fit into this medley.
