- Here's to another sesame ball recipe!
Ube filled and it's a super good one too.
Sesame balls are made and known all over Asia. Made with a variety of different fillings; sweet to savory. The use of glutinous rice flour makes the dough chewy, light, and super crispy. And since sesame balls are usually made with mostly rice flour, water, sugar, and a rising agent, they are gluten free, and can be dairy free and vegan with alternative milks. Thanks for the delicious recipe! I made this last week and it was super yummy. Perfect amount of sugar for the elders. I didn’t have condensed milk on hand, so I did a milk/sugar substitution for the filling. Came out more watery and sticky than yours as expected, but was still able to form them into balls. I used the dough batter to make some with the ube filling, some with no filling, and the rest of the dough, I added pandan extract. All super yummy and such a versatile recipe!

soooo goooood my experience make it like regular sausage but cover it with a lid to boil it that way beacuse if u just fry the outside the sausage wont cook right plus u want it to make the sticky sauce.... :P

I love your recipes- my problem is the size of the portion is too big for small/medium size family and nowadays we don't want to waste anything because everything is so expensive.

Hello thanks for great recipe. My rice flour is finish. i have only glutinios rice flour. Can I skip the rice flour. And only use glutinois rice flour
