From the moment Wade began talking about the Information Hugway, my brain short-circuited. I was literally blinking in confused terror. I didn't finish their segment of questioning Wade's teleporter issue, but my spin on it was that "teleporting" isn't exactly what Wade described. Sure, he tried to justify it by explaining your whole genetic make-up is disassembled and reconstructed, but I feel like it's not that exactly. If he described the Hugway as "making flesh-to-flesh contact with someone in tune with Mother Earth" and "you being absorbed through the lifeblood or the veins of Mother Earth (or something?) and reappearing at another node", that sounds more like it's transporting your "life force" or "consciousness" rather than your "genetic material". "You" are transported between the nodes, Mother Earth (if she is a living organism in this scenario) rebuilds you and anything you had on you like you do with clay or other malleable material. The logic behind that is that you were formed from the resources of Mother Earth, even if you were born from your mother's womb and the clothes on your back are made from synthetic materials, all of those originated as a part of Mother Earth, meaning Mother Earth remembers your imprint and can reconstitute you. Of course, if you got this far, you probably realized I am making up literal nonsense to try and justify how Wade broke my brain, I cannot begin to comprehend what he just said.
I love those bunch of guys laughing talking. Though I really don't understand the content perfectly, whatever I'm gonna subscribe your channel as radio. So fun to listen! love from korea~
This episode made me think of the transportation set-up where they were in a contraption that worked like a marbles tower from the 2005 movie called Robots that featured the voices of Robin Williams and Amanda Bynes.
15:12 Wade: Does that mean i get points for being intriging too? Mark: He already, he already gave you points Wade: Yeah of course, i was listening arright... 😅
17:33 Wade's idea kinda reminds of The Corgi Station. SCP-2952 is a male Pembroke Welsh Corgi measuring over 30,000 kilometers in length. The head and front legs of SCP-2952 are located in Portland, Oregon, while the hindquarters are located in a rural area of Japan's Kariwa District, weaving through the Americas, Europe, and much of Asia in between. At certain areas along SCP-2952's length, small openings will form along its sides at regularly scheduled intervals. Where passengers designated SCP-2952-2 will exit and enter The C.O.R.G.I. (Conveyance of Regional Gwerin Internationally) and basically use it as a subway tunnel. They're also 3 centimeters tall which happens to all persons that gained access to The Transportation Service simply by touching The Corgi.
This whole teleporting through thoughts almost upsets me. I've been a writer for 15 years and this is very close to some concepts I've had for a rare race of eldritch beings. lol Even the whole thing about "Once a kid realizes they're at the age they can do that? Something they failed to bring up (unless I missed it) was sonic booms that occur at these higher speeds. It is a continuous pressure event around the vehicle at these higher speeds so this has to be considered when trying to explore transportation at faster intervals.
