I really appreciate them talking about how difficult it is to make friends. I'm young, not a teenager anymore, but I find it so hard to find people and to make friends. It makes me feel better, that I'm not a failure of a human being
Yeah same, I am in my mid twenties and I have my established relationships and real good friends and that's just kinda how it is. I meet new interesting people often but don't necessarily pursue making new close friendships
Do some sort of weekly class, preferably something physically or mentally challenging so there's something to bond over. Rock climbing is great for this because you have to collaborate with people and this causes the community to be really friendly.
I relate to both Evan and Mark. When I'm forced to interact with someone, like coworkers, I can befriend most people over the course of a few hours. But when I'm not forced to interact with them, like at a party, I have no idea how people go up and talk to other people
seriously! its so weird too, to go up and just join a convo and everyone's like talking and you don't know what their talking about and they leave u like, dayum

@@financialfreedom4204 cool, I went and dropped you a dislike. I'll have nothing to do with an elderly crook that spams viewers of other channels with their shitty videos.
The fact that these people I look up to so much have the same struggles as me really comforts me for some reason. I have such trouble making friends and I’ve never dated before (I turn 18 in a few months)
don't stress about it too much. the older you get, the more meaningless your actual age gets. I hadn't dated anyone when I was 18 and now I am in a committed relationship that makes me very happy (I'm 27 now). my now boyfriend hadn't dated anyone before we met (he was 22 at the time.) one of my preschool friends got her first boyfriend when she was 25. it's not a race. you will find the right person at the right time.
It's not about the amount of friend but the quality of them. Also about the dating thing it's not uncommon to not ever have a lover in highschool, and if you are like me and get a girlfriend in highschool the relationship will last less than 24hrs
Along the lines of Evan talking to and making friends with people. I have the uncanny ability to draw out people's weirdness, I attract weirdness and/or sadness. Once in my hometown I was just walking to the park to smoke and there's this older guy sitting at an old picnic table. I asked him if I could join him and smoke, he said sure. As a kind gesture I offered him a cigarette and that got him talking. Long story short he told me he wanted to die that day and me talking to him helped him, just a little. I saw him around town a few times after that.

I'm sort of similar I guess, though I wouldn't actively go up and talk to skme random guy, but all my friends are strange when it comes to our conversations, some of it is just depressing but most of it is fucking hilarious and makes me consider things I've never even thought about before
As a guy in his late 30s, made some friends here and there along the way, but more than anything I relate so well to the thought processes these guys have. Friends are tough to find, harder to make!

lol I've had dates where we've just had some snacks and sodas or bottles of water in the car with us and we've just driven around for a while, so Mark's "Left or Right" story was kinda cute.
Sometimes it's nice to just drive, talk or listen to music, and just be with someone; whether you stop by a gas station/7Eleven for snacks and drinks or actually just grab something from a drive-thru place, and just spend time together. Whether you've known that person a few days, a few weeks....or even multiple years. lol not to sound cheesy here, but it's not about the destination, it's about the journey. Sometimes that nice drive out with a special someone has ended up somewhere with a really pretty view of a sunset, or even a sunrise, if it was a really late or early drive. And both were equally as beautiful, and having it start as a drive with no particular destination and just going wherever can turn into a lot of fun. (^__^)
@@marthmallow7420 Not sure how to say this as its kind of horrible advice, but if you stop seeking out a relationship and just do things for yourself including yk going out, socializing (again, not TRYING to pick people up and court them, just be normal) then eventually you’ll find someone. Some of my relationships have come from me literally just being followed or following people on instagram and then one random day responding to their story or something and you can then hit it off if the chemistry is good. Irl works similarly, you might be assigned a group project with someone during school for example, you might meet someone at college and go to a party, hang out with them and they have a cute friend you end up having good chemistry with, etc. etc. It just takes time. The worst thing to do is center your life on getting that relationship.

I relate sooo much to the part about making friends. I am unable to make friends unless approached by someone else. I constantly think they don’t actually want to be friends and when I do try and communicate I get no response and quit there. I legitimately have no idea how people can be in like 3+ friend groups lol
Right? If I'm into someone, I just want to spend time with them. I don't really care what they do. Though if I wasn't into them or we were both really bad at opening up, going on a drive would be like sitting in a mobile prison.
Yess, As someone who loves driving around and listening to music and just having random conversation that would be so fun like why is that not considered a date kind of thing. Going to restaurant is fine and all but just driving around and talking just hits different

i really relate to Mark's statement of "I have no desire to talk to people." I relate in a very introverted way (and after looking it up, Mark is apparently also an introvert so maybe this is why I relate), I generally don't have the desire to initiate conversations with people and sometimes new friends I make believe it means I don't like them when I'm just not a very socially active person. Some people have assumed I was extroverted since I have fun socializing, but I find socializing draining if I do it for too long or have to do it too much.

When I met my husband we would only go on drives in his car for the first few times we hung out. I think we were both too awkward to invite each other over to our homes 😂 but hey it worked out
I can relate to Bob's story somewhat. I brought a girl chocolates for Valentine's Day in 5th grade, held them out to her in her doorway, and learned to my sudden horror that she was deathly allergic to chocolate. Her mother took them and thanked me for the kind gesture, then gave them to her younger sister.
This episode was funny and relatable, as usual. But Mark talking about how he didn’t know how dating worked was so relatable for me. I’m 19 and haven’t ever dated anyone. I also struggle with people in general and socializing is immensely difficult. I tend to trust the wrong people and it’s led to awful situations. So I guess my advice to anyone who doesn’t know what the heck to do is to get experience. When you’re in high school, try dating. It’s better to try it and have a bad experience when you have your parents or another adult around who might help you through it than to just be thrown into it as an adult and be expected to know how to do things. And I know some people struggle with their parents not allowing them to date in high school or wanting to focus on school… I get that cause I dealt with that as well. Just try to do what you can. Maybe try talking with your parents and reason with them. It may not work, but try. And focusing on school… it’ll take its toll at some point in your life. Do your best, but do things for yourself too. Make mistakes. Try and fail. Be brave and feel that rejection, you know? It’s hard, but I think it’ll help in the future. Idk. I guess that as unqualified as I am to give “dating advice”, just try. And if you’re an adult like me, rely on someone you trust to help you gain experience with others. Let them give you advice, ask for their opinion on things. Do what you can and gain that XP I guess.
I got my wife from a hotel room when I gave her a rodeo burger because she hadn't eaten longer than I had and I could handle not eating. Apparently me showing kindness to her like that was the sweetest thing that it ever happens to her at that point and so after that when I went to get her Facebook and we started talking we really started growing together. Still brings a smile to both of our faces
See I wish Bobs courting story with the chocolates and flowers happens more often cause that’s so nice and cute to give flowers and chocolates. Their approach and steps to do it in the dark maybe was the wrong choice but I would’ve accepted the date. So sweet. And Marks car dates are the best with my boyfriend. Those are the dates where my boyfriend and I learn more and more about each other.
Something that I found to be really good for making friends is groups. For example I find theatre amazing for meeting people, joining groups that do a certain activity where you have to interact with the people in it or at least the thing you are doing opens up conversation with other people about what you're doing seems to make starting social relationships easier. It was kinda nice to see the guys open up about these things in this episode. From their stories and how they act I wouldn't really imagine them feeling this way, even since they're in the career they are in where there is a lot of social interaction. After school where sometimes the social guidance of "where to go next" may be lost, it can be pretty tough to know what to do, best of luck everyone with that search!
Poor Bob I had a similar situation. My crush told me she did not like me during the school dance she only said yes not to make me feel bad . It was really messed up
@GigglesDoesStuff It's messed up because I should have ask her to tell the truth because I don't like to see girls who agree to something they don't like. My fault for putting her in that position
@GigglesDoesStuff What kind of stupid backwards logic is this? No, honesty should always come first. She should’ve just said no. The truth hurts more after living a lie.
@@hayhay5200 yeah man that ones on her, ig unless u asked her in front of a bunch of people and she was too embarrassed to say no but if u just asked normally she shoulda just bit the bullet and said no instead of stringing you along
@GigglesDoesStuff Well no shit, but she didn’t say no. She said yes, so actively lied to him, gave him false hope, and then proceeded to say no afterwards. I’m not saying she should’ve dated a guy she doesn’t like. I’m saying she should’ve been honest upfront so the poor dude can focus on having a fun time with someone who would actually enjoy it with him.
@GigglesDoesStuff Yeah no, you don’t lie to save someone’s feelings, honesty is the best policy especially when it comes to relationships. You learn this more when you get older
About to turn 21 this month, and this episode made me think about my first relationship.. Learned pretty quick to better hide and guard my heart from dishonest snakes in human skin
My dating story begins with a broken car window. I had two guys interested in me at the same time. The first guy knew my car window was broken where if you applied pressure you could easily push the window down. He used this to leave flowers in my car. I always locked my doors so he pushed the window down, put the flowers in, fixed the window then locked the car door again. The second guy heard me say how sweet it was and how special it made me feel so he thought he would do the same thing after a few days. The problem was before he could do it I had my window fixed so now there was no way to break into my car easily. To get around this problem is the second guy stole my keys, made a copy, slipped my keys back where I had them then using his copy of my car key to unlock my car and put flowers in it then locked it back up. When I asked how he got in my car he surprised me with the copy of my key and thought he was super smart how he was able to steal my keys. He didn’t understand why I flipped out after he admitted to a crime. I was pissed and asked did he make a copy of my house key as well. I felt so uncomfortable after that for awhile. Keep in mind they both put flowers in my car while I was at work and the second guy worked at the same store I worked at, hence the reason he was able to get to my keys without me realizing my keys were missing. I ended up marrying the first guy.

I can relate to that Mark, Bob too, I went on 1 date my whole life and it was a movie theater, I guess my senior prom if you count that as a date? I went to dances alone, well not alone with my friend group that was well mixed boys and girls, but I never took anyone aside from Prom where it's my last year, I've come out of my shell a bit, even though we're a state away I have a childhood friend I haven't talked to in a few years, she's 2 years younger than me, my mom her mom best friends ever high school. So beginning of Senior year took a lot of courage, and trying to coordinate getting together, when my mom and her mom would get together we'd tag along, she apparently liked me, I liked her, we're both shy, then around Christmas or New Years asked her out, couple months later prom which was like 3 months after that. Then I was going to move back to my home state (moved around a lot as a kid, finally settled down around 5th grade, like 6 times, 5 different states up to that point), so I could take college there, AND FOR LOVE so I could be closer to her, 1st month just a pain in the ass moving between states, losing info, then I couldn't get a scholarship or something because I moved states, so 2 months go by after I settled in at my dad's house (oh yeah parents divorced when I was... 2?), settled in at college... and she started dating other people, broke my heart, but oh maybe there will be an opening still she's bouncing between dating, maybe she's just getting... experience?... 1 year later she got pregnant. been like 6 years since then? So yeah only dated once, only been on 1 date and movies are a bad idea because there's no interaction, Disney and other movies lie you can't date your childhood friends, and people will stab you in the back.

@@justinaysien1204 I don't have love, but am doing better now, took a long time to get over her, and doing better. Still don't know about love though, I've been told I give great advice too, I just can't follow my own, heat of the moment and getting started with anything in life has been my biggest crutch. Once I'm going no stopping me, but getting started I trip over and over and over again. I have no idea how to go about dating, if people will judge me for things I like, for who I am, then I over think things, and I crumble even more. Similarly for getting a job, mentally I am better now but that did leave scars, and now I'm hoping to overcome them, partially due to Mark. I have a lot of creativity, I have ideas for things, like 50+ stories I can turn into I don't know something, that arouse from day dreaming, dreaming, games I played as a kid with friends and/or family that now that I'm older I can see potential in making it a narative, like 6 specifically I'm hardwired to see come out, doesn't matter if they're movies, books, comics, manga, cartoons, anime, video games, whatever as long as they become something. Again though getting started, and I'm not talented enough to do any of these things, I don't have money, maybe I could get people that are good at this stuff to help me out, but don't know. I'm not a writer, director, might try my hands at designing games if I found a cheap option to get started, like if I could find a RPG maker thing that's cheap or free. Sorry if this sounds a bit negative, at the very least I have regained hope, and do believe someday these projects will become something. Love on the other hand... no idea, maybe I'd be better off online dating, but I know that's not really safe, I probably shouldn't rely on my romanticizing things, hoping she just fall out of the blue. It can happen in life, not just fairy tales, but very unlikely and shouldn't be relied upon, shouldn't wait for it, I understand now I need to take more action, just still unsure how I go about doing it. Sorry I went on a whole tangent, tangents actually, just long winded to say thank you for the kind words.
@@IgnatiusBlaze4 no problem man glad you are getting better some advice I can offer not just for dates but also making new friends is to just find something like a hoppy that interest you and see if there are other people that like the things you like (like distractible for example) try to get out there don’t go too fast take it at your own Pace and see what happens and on the other hand I’m sorry to hear your thing about love but don’t give up brother you’ll find the right person just give it time and make yourself the version of yourself you can be proud of that’s all I have to say stay safe and keep rocking big guy

I HATE it when stores (mainly online) list something for sale and they don't actually have it. It's something they "expect" to get a shipment of or something.
Hearing Mark about the issues with making friends, much less dating, after high school was honestly very comforting, as I legit did not make any new friends in 5 years of college. I made friends with people I had in a class in France with, but nobody at my university. Doesn't help I have a really hard time getting along with people around my age for some reason or another. Anyway, I digress.
Oh my god. Bob, my wife’s dad did the same kind of thing. I prepped and planned what I was gonna say, and I called him because we lived pretty far away, and his response after my heartfelt requests for his blessing was “Oh! Uh, neat!” What the hell

I’m so glad Bob touched on this point, do NOT publicize your romantic interest for someone. Don’t make a spectacle put of asking them out if you hardly even know them or if you have no idea whether they’re interested in you or not. It is so uncomfortable and can lead to pressuring someone to either accept out of pity and let you down later on, or if they reject you publicly it can DESTROY your self-esteem. Keeping it as private as possible is the least consequential option for both parties involved. It’s okay to shoot your shot but you have to always consider not just yourself but the other person and their feelings as well. 🙏🏽❤️
I only ever dated one girl in highschool and she asked me out but wow I didnt know Bob and I were on the same page about how bad we were at showing affection to girls out age back then lol. There was one girl on crushed on almost all of my highschool life and every valentines day I would go out and get her a gift (granted we never hung out and I bet she barely knew who I was) but I would get her stuff and leave it at her desk before she came in and I always thought it would be like a romantic gesture but I should have realized after a couple years of not really talking to her and buying her stuff that it was more creepy than romantic. I wish I had gotten dating advice back then because I was a timid sheltered kid and had NO IDEA how to talk to girls or how to like, properly show romantic interest.

Cool guy, definitely someone who can make friends easily. Lol
Some say we choose our lives before being here in this world, consciously. We all are here in this world in that similar kind of way. Our relationships are similar thusly. Sometimes you happen across the great friendships/relationships that we do in a natural way. The thing is, is to not regret not approaching someone you feel you have a connection with. Not everyone will share the same frequency in every given moment, but, you can communicate this. Such is a gift, for that, I am also grateful. Thank you all for this cool conversation.
Being in the friend zone is sooo much worse than not. I know the common thought is "oh so being friends with me isn't good enough?!" And it's like no lady I'm sorry but being near you without being able to be with you is torture.
I made a friend on Tinder. We went on a common date first. We saw we didn't click romantically, but we had such good conversations it didn't bother us at all that we didn't f*ck, 🤣 because as the boys said, it's really hard to make friends , and even harder to maintain them. And same as Mark, I don't catch up constantly with my older friends at all, and she's ok with that. We have been friends for about 4 years now. 🤗
Bob's story about flower ambushing the girls made me exhale my soul several times out of secondhand anxiety. Oh dear God, noooo, not a heart condition, WHHHHHYYYYYYY. How the fuck does that ever seem like a good idea to anyone what the hell? With my social anxiety, I could never holy shit.
That's where my mind immediately went as well, ngl. I was like "Oh, so taking people on a journey and making them choose between two options has always been Mark's idea of a good time, huh?" xP
I absolutely love that Mark is labeled as a himbo n stuff now but he didn't even realize that taking a date to a restaurant was probably the best and safest move lmfaoo The glow up is real Also Bob's first story cracked me up so much omg Fantastic story telling.
You guys are fine! Don’t worry about it! I think its cute being nervous and shy with girls trying to get a date! I never liked the guys that were full of themselves!
NO PLEASE, I love your idea, I have no friends, I had that million dollar idea years ago, I didn't want to make any in college because I thought I'd keep my high school ones, but then they just stopped talking to me. A way to make friends for awkward people online, I would sign up for, it's GENIOUS. How can you say you haven't made friends Mark... what about Lixian, Ethan, Game Grumps, even Amy, like your significant other is a friend too, you've made friends.
@@MarionBaggins I know that was my point, no matter how small or big he's met people that have changed and been good in his life, espeically Amy, Wade and Bob might be his longest friendships and his best friends, his bros, but Amy has done so much for him and 100% counts, if there was a word beyond best friend she would be it, and she's not just his grilfriend at this point she's his significant other... not in the sense that they're married because obviously they're not, but they're significant, synonymous with each other, they go hand in hand, they're each other's right hands. Bob and Wade, best friends in terms of bros, Amy is above and beyond.
52:39 I think Bumble has a making friends option lol. i've made friends through my interests. I love comic conventions and made some friends through that. I consider myself a very shy introvert, but when I'm comfortable, I'm okay with talking and chatting with people lol. I think you just have to push yourself out of your comfort zone and practice that in order to meet new people.
Before I leave. A realization struck my mind after scanning some of the titles on this channel. This reminds me of some of those books that just have absolutely random bits of information. It was a huge series of books.

I've worked in a call center for a tech company. Problem with most folks is once they call in a service center and their unit shows even a tiny sign of life they go "ok its ok now, you can go i dont need to have it serviced anymore". Same dingus will call in a little later saying my unit still doesn't work call the service team back. And get mad when they are moved down on the list of priorities for the service tech.
The only time I have ever even had a crush on someone I was so flustered around her I could hardly function because she was so cute and it was made worse by the fact that our teacher seemed to know this and would regularly pair us up together for projects and stuff and I kept trying to impress her while also trying really hard not to let her know how cute I thought she was and it was slowly killing me.

Lowkey, I would absolutely friend oriented app. Like yeah I guess you run the risk of hookups but maybe make it like large group chats style but based on hobbies, locations, events etc. so you can chat with many people at once for an activity but then can also dm specific people if you want to befriend them
I relate to the not knowing how to make friends thing so much. I have my best friend who I don't remember meeting we were so young and that's it. The girls I kind of spent time with in school I was forced to have play dates or school projects with very young, I didn't do the friendship on my own, and I don't talk to ANY of them anymore. I literally don't have a friend other than my best friend. I don't know how. I've had really great relationships with a lot of coworkers that I considered my friends while I was working at the place, but I stopped talking to all of them almost immediately after the jobs were over. I don't know how to transition from pleasant small talk to being comfortable inviting you to my house. It feels so awkward, I'm not the kind of person who wants to have a friend come over just to sit and chat for an hour, if I'm gonna see my friend I want to go do something. But I also don't know how to invite a person I know nothing about to do something. It's like I need to be comfortable with you before I want to do that stuff but I'll never get comfortable because we never do said stuff.
My dates with my crush were only limited to school since she never told me her address and also the fact that I did not have a car. I never told her that I liked her as a girlfriend, I was just trying to warm up to that confession by becoming good friends with her, I gave some subtle hints but never moved beyond that. We always sat in the office at lunch time, eating and watching TH-cam videos. During the summer she and I were at a summer camp thing, and I was basically her only friend there. We always hang out with each other when we could, and near the end of summer camp, she told me that she was asexual. So that's when I knew that she did not feel the same thing about me that I felt about her. I never got upset, I took it really well. We were on pretty good terms with each other before I moved.
I understand the whole friend situation. Every friend I have made so far in college doesn't talk to me expect one. He messages me regularly and I do to him but when I put myself out there to make friends it's like they forget I exist. I'm done putting myself out there. I'm trying to learn new languages and explore new things but I'll do it by myself instead cause people are tiresome when it's not about themselves.

In terms of friends, my best friend literally walked up to me on the first day of early band prep week and he said, "hey you're cool, be my friend." It was college and a fresh start so I said screw it, and we've been best friends (and fraternity brothers for 3 years) for almost 6 years, now.
Man, I'd totally be a friend to any or all three of them, I suppose the hardest part is figuring out if you're gonna mesh well with someone via first impressions and being willing to risk a time/effort commitment with someone, especially if you're doing the podcast as one way to hang out more often. Add on to that that these guys have fame/success, it's probably difficult to sort out the whole parasocial relationship thing and people liking who you really are versus who everyone sees you as.

“you wanna go out? good because we’re staying out”
THAT JOKE WAS SO UNDERRATED
I really appreciate them talking about how difficult it is to make friends. I'm young, not a teenager anymore, but I find it so hard to find people and to make friends. It makes me feel better, that I'm not a failure of a human being
Yeah same, I am in my mid twenties and I have my established relationships and real good friends and that's just kinda how it is. I meet new interesting people often but don't necessarily pursue making new close friendships
Same. What is it about meeting new people and making friends that's so hard? I don't get it.

Most relatable part of the podcast
I relate to both Evan and Mark. When I'm forced to interact with someone, like coworkers, I can befriend most people over the course of a few hours. But when I'm not forced to interact with them, like at a party, I have no idea how people go up and talk to other people

And nothing has been more relatable.
The fact that these people I look up to so much have the same struggles as me really comforts me for some reason. I have such trouble making friends and I’ve never dated before (I turn 18 in a few months)
Dude, same for me bro,
don't stress about it too much. the older you get, the more meaningless your actual age gets.
@@cheshirecat1611 thank you, you're good person
It's not about the amount of friend but the quality of them. Also about the dating thing it's not uncommon to not ever have a lover in highschool, and if you are like me and get a girlfriend in highschool the relationship will last less than 24hrs
It's like you're taking about me, 3 months from now and that's me to the letter
I guess we're all lonely on the internet
Along the lines of Evan talking to and making friends with people. I have the uncanny ability to draw out people's weirdness, I attract weirdness and/or sadness. Once in my hometown I was just walking to the park to smoke and there's this older guy sitting at an old picnic table. I asked him if I could join him and smoke, he said sure. As a kind gesture I offered him a cigarette and that got him talking. Long story short he told me he wanted to die that day and me talking to him helped him, just a little. I saw him around town a few times after that.

Bumble?
I'm just imagining the two girls were out on a date which just makes the whole things somehow more funny
I used to be so uncertain about the whole podcast thing, but after being forced by mark to watch bob's fridge, I got addicted
lol I've had dates where we've just had some snacks and sodas or bottles of water in the car with us and we've just driven around for a while, so Mark's "Left or Right" story was kinda cute.
Just driving around and talking and goofing off is the majority of my dates with my partner. In my opinion, that is a date.
god i wanna do that so bad

You meet ppl like u. You'll never expect it but ppl r more like u than u think
why does mark's left or right story sound like a fun date idea to me. just drive around and talk, maybe we get some food if we're near a restaurant

Bob: "The plan is obvious! Do you not see how this has to play out?"
Ad: "SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS KNOW..."
The fact that bob knows what a veloster N is. Huge props and he earned a subscriber from me 🤣 .
Bob's story here is one of the best ones yet! I could not stop laughing
Bob: entrancement, is that a word?
Mark: oh yeah etrapment, yeah u're getting there
*damn*

I don't have love, but am doing better now, took a long time to get over her, and doing better.

This whole episode is just "how extroverts adopt introverts."
In some cultures, friends do it with eachother. It's not that hard to imagine that friendr would be used for wet noodle sounds.
I can heavily relate to Bob's opening story. I ordered one of the limited T-shirts after AHWM only for it to be lost to the ether.
Bob's dating story would make an excellent movie 🎬 🎞 🎥 ❤️🤣

When they brought up Evan and how he makes friends easily, it reminded me of the You're Welcome Tour. I had gone to one of their shows, and Evan was the one who was letting in the VIPs for the preshow. I was one of the first in line and got to talk with him a bit. Cool guy, definitely someone who can make friends easily. Lol
I'm so glad I'm from milford because it makes marks stories so much more relatable
With my social anxiety, I could never holy shit.
for me in high school, our version of “you wanna get coffee?” was “ hey, do you wanna go study in the library?”.
Mark's idea of going left or right as an option came out big in ISWM. But both were good choices
That's where my mind immediately went as well, ngl. I was like "Oh, so taking people on a journey and making them choose between two options has always been Mark's idea of a good time, huh?" xP
These stories make me feel better about my own awkward highschool experiences lol.
I absolutely love that Mark is labeled as a himbo n stuff now but he didn't even realize that taking a date to a restaurant was probably the best and safest move lmfaoo
The glow up is real
Also Bob's first story cracked me up so much omg
Fantastic story telling.

Amy is not just Mark's Friend, she is Mark's Girlfriend and his Best Friend!!!

I know that was my point, no matter how small or big he's met people that have changed and been good in his life, espeically Amy, Wade and Bob might be his longest friendships and his best friends, his bros, but Amy has done so much for him and 100% counts, if there was a word beyond best friend she would be it, and she's not just his grilfriend at this point she's his significant other... not in the sense that they're married because obviously they're not, but they're significant, synonymous with each other, they go hand in hand, they're each other's right hands.
I cant tell if Bob has the best stories…. Or if he’s just the best storyteller 🤣
Before I leave. A realization struck my mind after scanning some of the titles on this channel. This reminds me of some of those books that just have absolutely random bits of information. It was a huge series of books.
As a former movie theatre employee, can confirm theres always a kyle... During my time there, we had 3
Did each Kyle of a unique personality or were they all the same?
@@sirsponge9633 t'were unique
God... Oh wow... Bob's story was amazing 😀 and it's so relatable... Like this made me remember my school years... God I was weird (probably still am) but it's good knowing that I wasn't the only one with adventures like that 🤣😀

How did it go just curious
@@justinaysien1204 not super well, we only had that one class together and I think she graduated right after. We did get along though we just didn't go farther then friends
In Sweden we don't go on "dates". So meeting someone is really hard.
How does that work? Do you straight up not hang out or?
@@unluckycatfish6866 Usually we get to know our friends in school. After that people meet at work or through your kid's friend's parents.
The most common thing is getting more friends by your friend circle, so it expands little by little and hopefully you'll find someone you fancy through that.
Although! We are quite americanized in Sweden and after tinder became popular in the USA, Sweden also wanted it, because we love american pop culture here.
So we do have tinder! I think dating might slowly become a thing. c:
@@kozekitogaming oh I see so kinda the same experience as what we have here in finland
@@unluckycatfish6866 Cool! Maybe it's because we're neighbors? So maybe we have similar cultures. c:
This is the only time I have heard someone that actually asked the dad for permission.
Now I don’t feel like an outlier for doing the same thing. Thanks Bob!
I feel like for Marks story if he had just said "Hey you wanna hang out and drive around town" things would've been a lot less awkward
You guys were born to be entertainers.
Bob can be the voice of books on audio. I would buy them all
I relate to the friend thing. Couldn't make friends as an adult until I started working at a grocery store. Now I have friends.
As a 21 year old, I have made absolutely 0 friends after I graduated high school
Same. Let’s break the system and be friends.
@@jq1522 let's do it!
there was a lot of good advice in this ep!! and you guys are totally normal, it’s so hard to meet people and make friends
Already knew how his plan to ask out the girl to the dance would go based off his other plan

"Frinder, for when you hardly even know her" 🤣🤣
Lowkey, I would absolutely friend oriented app.
I would pay money for mark to read his notes for this episode outloud in full
i feel like this when the thing happens

Bob's theater story is terrifying 😂
Man, I'd totally be a friend to any or all three of them, I suppose the hardest part is figuring out if you're gonna mesh well with someone via first impressions and being willing to risk a time/effort commitment with someone, especially if you're doing the podcast as one way to hang out more often.
Add on to that that these guys have fame/success, it's probably difficult to sort out the whole parasocial relationship thing and people liking who you really are versus who everyone sees you as.
Again... Saw the title, thought, I'm lonely and single. Maybe this is for me. Turns out, maybe not. 🤣
