not a knock in any way, shape, or form on the other regulars - because they all seem cool people AND are good contributors - but i absolutely adore when roth, dan, joe, and spence are together. the chemistry just FEELS right.
I COMPLETELY agree, 100%! Whenever the others are on I am often disappointed. As you've said, they're alright, but the true Screen Junkies are in this very video!
SAME! I always click to see the panel... if these 4 are ALL there.... I IMMEDIATELY watch it. But when there's even one of them missing... I always just save it for later... I don't hate guests... it's just not the same.
Trying to keep my positive comments up after seeing your discussion on fandom yesterday. But since I'm bad with words I'll just say: Great job guys, it's always fun to watch your show. And to everyone reading this, have a great weekend!
Thealexsus - It wasn't "fandom" as such that was being criticised but rather anti-social behaviour. It's not "being a fan" to be racist/sexist/homophobic/bigotted etc and to treat someone badly - that's someone acting on their prejudices and trying to cause harm. Be assured, if you are a fan of something and you are engaging positively and respectfully with others then there's no harm done. :-)
"Colossal" was marketed as a weird action comedy and in reality it was an exploration of repressed childhood memories, unhealthy friendships, and toxic masculinity. It certainly isn't a bad movie, but my ex and me were not ready for that shit.
True, I really wanted to see that, then when I finally saw it on a plane, wow, was I 'surprised', and not in a good way. I usually watch action movies to make time pass on long-haul flights, and that was NOT an action movie... It was weird...
On a lighter note, I feel like the Village would be considered "average at worst" if the marketing wasn't misleading. I saw that film knowing the twist and forgetting the marketing and it really isn't _that bad_
Roth- My very religious grandparents showed me Last Temptation when I was young as an appeal to faith. I've been a film nut ever since and I am very grateful to them.
Coming to movies that people are waiting for, I'm sort of excited (or certainly curious) about "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote". It's a movie that has taken 29 years to make (Robin Williams, Johnny Depp, Ewan McGregor, John Cleese, Robert Duvall, John Hurt and so many others are said to have been part of the cast at some point or the other) and it is Terry Gilliam's passion project. The movie currently doesn't even have a US release date (because Amazon has confirmed that they will not be distributing it) and it has only been released in France so far with Chinese distributors confirmed. If this isn't the sort of movie that deserves its own segment, I don't know what is.
Harshiv Mahajan actually the movie has also been released in Spain. I live here and was planning to see it on Wednesday. Spain is the land of Don Quixote though so that's probably why.
I appreciate the Roth's opening, I deal with teenagers and it's scary how frequently they deal with depression and think about suicide. Please know that people care about you and love you.
There was a really weird austrian movie called Hinterholz 8, that had one of the weirdest endings ever. It was a black satire about a family moving to a tight village community because of inherited real estate and being harrassed by that community ... at the end, when they're surrounded by pitchfork wielding townsfolk, the approx. 10 y.o. son (who is a Star Trek fan) utters the words "Scotty, four to beam up" and the family dissolves in the original Star Trek transporter effect. End of film. It was brilliant.
Love your content guys! Definitely love the main channel but I find myself getting even more excited for SJN just because I love hearing your in depth thoughts on this industry. Keep it up guys:)
Thanks for answering my question! My oldest daughter listens to you with me while she drives to work. It's a 45 minute drive and she only has her permit so she's a captive audience. I listened live yesterday and last night, while at the pool, I was listening to Audible on my phone while the kids swam. My oldest daughter asked me what I was listening to. When I told her she said, "You must not have wanted to listen to those Screen Junkies at the church party since they say so many bad words." I thought you'd get a kick out of it.
I love you guys. Between your content and Collider's, you talented and insightful folks make my 2 hour commute fly by. I really appreciate your goofy main channel content and your deeper and insightful commentary on the news channel keeps me thinking and debating with my friends even when I don't agree with you. Keep up the great work. Roth, Dan, Spencer, Joe, Danielle, Roxie, Billy, JTE, Hal, Lon, lots of love from a group of fans from Wisconsin.
I think y'all missed Crimson Peak and Bridge to Teribithia (sp) for huge misnarketed films. Also this comedy Tomcats. They made it seem like Porky's when it was more a romantic comedy.
Joe!! The score for Carpenter’s Assault on Precinct 13 theme is legendary. It’s dark, synthy and simple. But used multiple times and with great effect. Amplifying the story and suspense.
Underrated film - Christopher Nolan's first movie "Following" is about a guy who follows people and has one person who realizes it and confronts him. It's not one of his best, but it's definitely worth a watch.
Roth! Thank you for reading my question but my name is DENNIS Stack! Still love you guys, thanks again for answering. The movie that inspired the question was Shaolin Soccer. I rolled my eyes at the trailers and didn't watch it for a few years but enjoyed when I did.
I like movies that kinda just end. It’s impactful and allows for conversation. I almost wish Infinity War ended with Snap! And Thor pleading “What did you do!”
I'm going to need to come back to this video for reference later, so many great recommendations in the 'underrated films by famous directors' section & even though Kung Pow was on my radar that discussion made me watch the trailer & now I'm all in. Thanks.
Totally with you about Spy. Had the same "ugh, another slapstick comedy" and only finally watched it because it appeared on Netflix. DEFINITELY not what I was expecting. [Edit: For anyone who hasn't heard it yet, the opening/theme song is excellent! :-) ]
I would love to just set down with Dan and talk movies or anything really lol always well thought out/said. I feel like Roth could make watching paint dry fun. Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious. SJN, make this happen please
My crowd for Hereditary laughed a lot, and mostly not at things meant for a laugh, more so for real creepy parts. It felt like they were all over correcting to keep from being so freaked out. And they also made the noise a couple times, which then got laughs...
Huge mis marketing job with Bridesmaids. All posters and previews made it look like a female Hangover ripoff. But in reality it was a solid movie that was actually pretty dark.
Thank you for using your platform to help suicide prevention! There seems to be an increasing amount in the news. It's truly awful. I hope everyone can find some light and fun in watching SJ and help them get through their day.
There have been many suicides since 13 Reasons Why. There have even been people trying to replicate the suicide in the show. Any and all suicide is really sad because these people are leaving behind family and friends.
A note on Hereditary: I believe the sound design makes it so you hear that cluck sound in the theater even during scenes you don't expect. It might not all be theater patrons.
I took my daughters to see Frozen and when I got home I told my wife that it wasn't as good as Tangled, especially the songs. Then as Frozen became so popular I got annoyed that people talked about the music as though it was so good and ignored Tangled. So I am glad to hear I am not the only one.
I was totally shocked by the passing of Anthony Bourdain. The list of writers and... raconteurs that have inspired me over the years is long, but at the top of the list is David Halbertstam, closely followed by Steven Ambrose, Suzanne Collins, and since his first books (Kitchen Confidential, Typhoid Mary, Going Bamboo, A Cooks Tour) Anthony Bourdain has held my attention and taught me to look more deeply at history of our everyday lives and the things hidden in this world. It has been a harsh few years, with the passing of many of my personal icons, Prince, Muhammad Ali, Martin Landau, David Bowie, Charlie Murphy, Mary Tyler Moore, Sam Shepard, John Hurt, Alan Rickman, Chris Squire, Gene Wilder, George Michael, Adam West, Harper Lee, Morley Safer, Party Duke, Garry Marshall, Roger Moore, Glenn Frey, Gwen Ifill, Arnold Palmer, Leonard Cohen, John Glenn, Carrie Fisher, Florence Henderson, Elie Wiesel, Don Rickles, Chuck Berry, Glen Campbell, Powers Boothe, George Romero, Harry Dean Stanton, Tom Petty, Fats Domino, Phife Dawg, Chuck Barris, Alan Thicke, Garry Shandling, Merle Haggard, Jerry Van Dyke, Delores O'Riordan, Mark E. Smith, John Mahoney, David Ogden Stiers, Winnie Mandela, Stephen Hawking, Barbara Bush, R. Lee Emory, Nancy Regan, Margot Kidder, Paul Kantner, Abe Vigoda, Dave Mirra, Maurice White, Vanity, Umberto Eco, Pat Conroy, Kieth Emerson, Greg Lake, George Kennedy, Joe Garagiola, Papa Wemba, Debbie Reynolds, William Christopher, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Richard Adams, Craig Sager, Grant Tinker, Robert Vaughn, Shimon Peres, Jon Polito, Sonia Rykiel, John McLaughlin, Fyvush Finkel, Pete Fountain, Buddy Ryan, Pat Summitt, Gordie Howe,
and Chris Cornell. It has been a very tough last two and a half years. Just check in on your peoples, spread love and life. Especially with this being Pride Month, remember that LGBTQIA friends are still ostracized and are more likely to turn to suicide.
I thought Justice League and Batman vs Superman were going to be fun action movies with a good story and cohesive plot, supported by well developed characters, great acting and fantastic villains based on the marketing. But alas.
Other than the music I didn't care much for the trailer, I thought Harley Quinn and dead shot was pretty good but the rest of the movie was trash for me.
Denis Villeneuve's Polytechnique is one of his great but underseen movies. It's a hard watch because of it's painfully relevant subject matter, but also an easy watch because it's only 80 minutes. I believe it's streaming on Prime.
I remember as a kid in the theater and Empire Strikes Back ended on the downer...i didnt believe my dad when he said it was over. also big trouble in little china is one of my house cleaning movies, i just play that in the background and laugh at the awesome lines
Love you guys! I just enjoy watching this show so much and you guys are all just a delight. Shout Out to Spencer for bringing up the Widows trailer. Really excited for that movie and Screen Junkies can you talk about the trailer for Bad Times At The El Royale next week on SJU.
Fum fact: For the shooting of Barry Lyndon, Kubrick wanted to shoot in natural candle light but no filmstock or lense at the time could allow for such low light, so Kubrick used repurposed Carl Zeis lenses designed by NASA which allowed for shooting conditions at an unprecedented aperture setting of F0.7
ScreenJunkies knows how to approach tough subjects. Much respect! “I meant in terms of marketing.” 😂😂😂 “Pulled from what, existence?” “‘Mother’ lover.” 😂😂 “Frozen is a Disney movie.” “Joe doesn’t want to build a ‘Snowman.’” Yes, Joe!!!! “Tangled” LOVE!!!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖 “I clapped when ‘Marvel’ showed up.” 😂😂 NO MORE TRAILERS. Less is more trailers. Just a scene & a screen.
Jurassic Park 3, no climax, no major plot point, nothing, just they end up on the beach then fly off. We see flying dinosaurs flying off the island with them, apparently with no follow up consequences, anything. Just fucking nothing. I remember clearly sitting up nearish the front of the cinema, seeing the credit roll, sticking my middle finger up at the screen and literally the entire cinema (only 50ish people) all laughing.
An epic is an ancient way of storytelling that includes a hero on a great journey detailing a history of some kind and is written in poetic verse based on previous oral traditions.
I don't think a lot of people saw it but The Invisible is THE most mis-marketed movie I've ever seen. The trailer didn't just make it look like a different genre, it features an old man character not in the actual movie outlining a completely different plot to the main character's ghost: "if you can solve the mystery of your own death...then you can have a chance to live again." The actual movie has ZERO mystery as to who "killed" him and it's basically a teen drama where ghost boy has a connection with one of his attackers and it's the story of her redemption. I mean I'm not gonna sue about it but jesus it made me mad
Drive is one of my favourite movies ever! I never watched any trailers for it tho, got introduced to it by a friend, so the marketing never affected me ^^
Roth I’m with you - I loved The Grey and the message of Liam deciding to continue to fight for life even though he’s so broken from losing his wife. It was gorgeous. And JOE - I was HAPPY there was no wolf punching because I love wolves 🐺 😜
In the Scorsese filmography, one film that NEVER gets the love it deserves is Bringing Out The Dead. Masterpiece! And one of his many collaborations with screenwriter Paul Schrader.
My first experience with misleading marketing was NOTHING IN COMMON. I was promised a hilarious comedy starring the guy from SPLASH and SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT and this movie was definitely NOT that.
The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, I still love that movie, but heads up, the “out of water” part doesn’t happen until 20 minutes before the end of the film. Also the trailers spoiled all of the jokes and action in the third act. Just calling it “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 2” would be a lot better.
The Witch is one of the better horror movies in the last few years! Up there with It Follows and The Babadook. And if you liked Hereditary, you should give it a try. A very creepy slow burn with a finale that makes it all worth the while. They use the medium of film to tell a dark American folktale from the perspective of a family from that time period. Definitely worth a watch for patient horror fans :) (I tried to not sound pretentious, but it didn't work, and I fully recognize that and apologize)
Jesse Friesen thanks! I completely agree with these three being some of the best horror films lately (and It Follows is even truly scary in my opinion), so now I know that I want to watch Hereditary.
The movie I'm looking forward to the most this summer is Fallen Kingdom, since I've already seen Infinity War. I know many are going to roll their eyes at this, I'm assuming today's panel included (haven't seen theirs or anyone's review, want to decide for myself) but I don't care (in a good way). I'm re-reading the books and binging the movies before it comes out. Fallen Kingdom looks like it could go in an interesting direction...or it could blow up in my face. I'll find out in two weeks.
My assumption is that the noise in Hereditary that Dan referred to at the end of the video is the tongue-clicking that the little girl does in the trailers.
"Click" with Adam Sandler was very misleading. Got wayyyyyy more serious than any Sandler film is supposed to be. I agree with Dan's pick of Spy. I had such low expectations for it, and was so pleasantly surprised.
The most mis-marketed movie (that I actually saw) was the Village, it was billed as a action horror thriller. It's not a great film, but it would have been much better received if they'd sold it accurately.
Just when I thought I couldn't love Roth more, she drops King of Comedy and After Hours!!!! I'm with you on loving the less talked about Scorsese movies. In addition to the ones you mentioned, I love Hugo. :D Also with Dan on The Conversation. Got to see it on the big screen a few years ago and it was brilliant. It has one of my favorite movie endings of all time.
For the anticipated summer movies question, outside of the big movies the thing I'm most looking forward to is First Reformed. Man, that movie looks great. I really hope it plays here.
not a knock in any way, shape, or form on the other regulars - because they all seem cool people AND are good contributors - but i absolutely adore when roth, dan, joe, and spence are together. the chemistry just FEELS right.

T Electronix I totally agree. Maybe it was a poor choice of words from my part.
Somebody start a petition for a Billy-cam AND a JTE-cam!
Joe is a Tangled guy?! Yes!!!
Megan Harris didn't know i could love him more 😍
Yes! Tangled is so underrated
P.S. The Japanese title is 'Synchronized Monster'...❤️😂
As someone who has thought about suicide, your concerns are appreciated by me. Thank you, wonderful folks at SJN.
On a lighter note, I feel like the Village would be considered "average at worst" if the marketing wasn't misleading. I saw that film knowing the twist and forgetting the marketing and it really isn't _that bad_
Guillermo del Toro's 'Crimson Peak' was so mis-marketed. It was such a shame!
Joe being a tangled boy makes me love him even more #teamtangled
Yes joe! Been saying it for years, Tangled is 20X better than Frozen
Joe's sinking chair during Movie Fights last night brought his voice down, too.
I love it when Billy gets camera time, he needs his own show not just a camera.
For the first question: terminator genesys. Whomever thought it was a good idea to show the John connor spoiler in the first trailer should be fired.
Drive’s marketing was way off. And it became one of my favorite movies evaaar.
Cloverfield was the ultimate bait and switch
That shot where he smoothly and perfectly parks the car while not taking his gaze off the 'bad guys' off in the other direction.
#Style
Same, I still listen to that soundtrack. Loved the movie.
T Electronix I never noticed that. Too bad I’m gonna have to watch it again haha
Roth- My very religious grandparents showed me Last Temptation when I was young as an appeal to faith. I've been a film nut ever since and I am very grateful to them.
PeabodySlim
Did it appeal to you in terms of faith?
I was this close 👌to choking to death when Joe said phone sex, lawd lol
Any smart cinema would show this and then Lost in La Mancha as a double bill.
Cool you answered my question on my birthday thanks!
Happy birthday!!!!
His NAME is Illya Kuryakin! And I loved The Man From U.N.C.L.E...! Especially the show, but also the new movie.
Heard Joe's voice and somehow I'm pregnant. The baby will be born with luscious locks.
Uncanny X-Guy! love all 3 guys on the table
The ending for Return of the King was a little abrupt for my liking
Have you seen the extended version?
I needed four more hours of action sequences
*slowclap*
In my personal head canon, "Enemy of the State" is a sequel to "The Conversation"...
Absolutely it is.
Jimmi Pynk “Bridge” is SO MUCH BETTER as a book!!! My favorite from my childhood!
I'm a tangled boi too, joe. Tangled is such a fucking brilliant, perfect, excellent movie I loooooove it.

The movie that inspired the question was Shaolin Soccer. I rolled my eyes at the trailers and didn't watch it for a few years but enjoyed when I did.
The Rules of Attraction was marketed as a comedy but it was really a Bret Easton Ellis nightmare
Yeah, that was perplexing. I had already read the book and the trailer threw me for a loop. Ended up digging the film anyways.
I am so with Roth when it comes to Dracula, definitely my favourite Coppola movie. Maybe not the best, but my favourite. Don't @ me.
Fyi- the scientist that promoted the idea of alpha/beta said that it was bunk. Basically just used to sell books.
Yes, totally.
I like movies that kinda just end. It’s impactful and allows for conversation. I almost wish Infinity War ended with Snap! And Thor pleading “What did you do!”
Anyone have the time stamp for when they talk about Live. Die. Repeat.? Or was it just in the thumb as false advertising?
Kung Pow is honestly amazing.
Barry Lyndon is so godamn good. Also Blood Simple, Sorcerer, and Jackie Brown are all underappreciated movies by big name directors.
Daniel Kelly Jackie brown is way underrated. I prefer it to Grind house, Django and Reservoir Dogs.
I feel like everyone that has seen Jackie Brown really enjoyed it, but everyone else just overlooks it.
I definitely agree on Barry Lyndon in my opinion it is the greatest film ever made.
I'm going to need to come back to this video for reference later, so many great recommendations in the 'underrated films by famous directors' section & even though Kung Pow was on my radar that discussion made me watch the trailer & now I'm all in. Thanks.
Barry Lyndon is an AWESOME movie. Groundbreaking in a lot of ways, and has Kubrick's trademark unlikable characters.
I am hyped for Mission Impossible : Fallout and I am not watching any marketing video until I see the movie.
Totally with you about Spy.
Had the same "ugh, another slapstick comedy" and only finally watched it because it appeared on Netflix.
DEFINITELY not what I was expecting.
[Edit: For anyone who hasn't heard it yet, the opening/theme song is excellent! :-) ]
I love Dan sarcastic rant on the Meg was f****** hilarious
Ten minutes into Les Mis my friend and I looked at each and asked "Are they going to sing the entire time?" And they did...they sure did.
Kung Pow is one of the greatest movies. And I agree. The cow part is unforgivable.
I haven't seen "Spy" for the same reason Dan spoke about. I guess I should give it a try now...?
David C. It's much better than the usual Melissa McCarthy fair.
spy is funny and have lotta hearts
Thank you for using your platform to help suicide prevention! There seems to be an increasing amount in the news. It's truly awful. I hope everyone can find some light and fun in watching SJ and help them get through their day.
There have been many suicides since 13 Reasons Why. There have even been people trying to replicate the suicide in the show. Any and all suicide is really sad because these people are leaving behind family and friends.
Out of the blue but I really like the shirt Joe is wearing. He looks very adorable in it 😄

Orange County was not marketed properly, and it was years before I bothered to see it as a result.
About the lawsuit thing, all I could think about was Ron Swanson saying “and $46 million for psychological damages” 😂
Scoops! Where you been?
I thought Justice League and Batman vs Superman were going to be fun action movies with a good story and cohesive plot, supported by well developed characters, great acting and fantastic villains based on the marketing. But alas.
B'dum tish.
Same could have been said for Suicide Squad.
John Castiel suicide squad trailer is probably some of the best trailer out there, but the movie on the hand...
Other than the music I didn't care much for the trailer, I thought Harley Quinn and dead shot was pretty good but the rest of the movie was trash for me.
That reminds me, I haven't seen Drive in a while. Think I'll watch it this weekend.
Denis Villeneuve's Polytechnique is one of his great but underseen movies. It's a hard watch because of it's painfully relevant subject matter, but also an easy watch because it's only 80 minutes. I believe it's streaming on Prime.
I recently saw Downsizing and was blown away with how completely different it was from the trailers.
37:34 is where Harry goes "Do you know the second most annoying sound in the world?"
I remember as a kid in the theater and Empire Strikes Back ended on the downer...i didnt believe my dad when he said it was over. also big trouble in little china is one of my house cleaning movies, i just play that in the background and laugh at the awesome lines
Everything dan said about spy! Yes! I love it!

“I meant in terms of marketing.” 😂😂😂
“Pulled from what, existence?”
“‘Mother’ lover.” 😂😂
“Frozen is a Disney movie.”
“Joe doesn’t want to build a ‘Snowman.’”
Yes, Joe!!!! “Tangled” LOVE!!!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
“I clapped when ‘Marvel’ showed up.” 😂😂
NO MORE TRAILERS. Less is more trailers. Just a scene & a screen.
😂😂😂 that bait and switch question tho
OMG! Halloween H20 was 20 years ago!? Thanks for bringing me down today, Dan... T_T
Let it Go was released as a music video that served as a sort of trailer by Disney ahead of the movie coming out.
Good call back.
When I think Francis Ford Coppola, I think Jack...
Roth Cornet , in movies, "epic" is a type of storytelling *and* references the scope of the movie itself.
Just noticed Spencer rocking a Shaun shirt - neat seeing my favorite youtube people repping my other favorite youtube people.
Spenny G: I've seen it already, do I have to watch it again? :/
Roth: YES

Spencer, I’m with you. I’m the sole defender of mother! in my group of friends, too
Jurassic Park 3, no climax, no major plot point, nothing, just they end up on the beach then fly off.
The thumbnail includes Edge of Tomorrow and John Carter. Is ScreenJunkies mis-marketing this very video? Applause.
I definitely thought Dracula before Godfather. My old English teacher used to have a poster in his room.
An epic is an ancient way of storytelling that includes a hero on a great journey detailing a history of some kind and is written in poetic verse based on previous oral traditions.
Lol I should’ve waited to type this haha y’all looked it up already
I don't think a lot of people saw it but The Invisible is THE most mis-marketed movie I've ever seen. The trailer didn't just make it look like a different genre, it features an old man character not in the actual movie outlining a completely different plot to the main character's ghost: "if you can solve the mystery of your own death...then you can have a chance to live again."
The actual movie has ZERO mystery as to who "killed" him and it's basically a teen drama where ghost boy has a connection with one of his attackers and it's the story of her redemption.
I mean I'm not gonna sue about it but jesus it made me mad
Don't worry Roth. I'm on your side with The Grey. A movie about a suicidal man literally choosing to fight for his life doesn't need a battle.
Gonna check out The Conversation tomorrow. Thanks Dan
Drive is one of my favourite movies ever! I never watched any trailers for it tho, got introduced to it by a friend, so the marketing never affected me ^^
by the trailer i thought Downsizing was a comedy!... men i was Wrong
bruno bolognesi by the trailer i thought Downsizing was good... also wrong
Such a bait and switch
Roth I’m with you - I loved The Grey and the message of Liam deciding to continue to fight for life even though he’s so broken from losing his wife. It was gorgeous. And JOE - I was HAPPY there was no wolf punching because I love wolves 🐺 😜
In the Scorsese filmography, one film that NEVER gets the love it deserves is Bringing Out The Dead. Masterpiece! And one of his many collaborations with screenwriter Paul Schrader.
Definitely not what was expected from a "mainstream" movie. It's kinda insane.
So you mentioned that you didn't mentioned Suspiria, but didn't gave an opinion on it?
The movie I'm looking forward to the most this summer is Fallen Kingdom, since I've already seen Infinity War. I know many are going to roll their eyes at this, I'm assuming today's panel included (haven't seen theirs or anyone's review, want to decide for myself) but I don't care (in a good way). I'm re-reading the books and binging the movies before it comes out. Fallen Kingdom looks like it could go in an interesting direction...or it could blow up in my face. I'll find out in two weeks.
It comes at night is another one that is really mismarketed
The ending of Enemy was a real WTF moment. Still don't get the spider
The core four!!!!
Spring Breakers is brilliant, including the marketing
The advertising still didn't match the movie... But it was bonkers fun to watch.
My assumption is that the noise in Hereditary that Dan referred to at the end of the video is the tongue-clicking that the little girl does in the trailers.
Hudson Hawk was marketed as an action film. Should have been marketed as a comedy.
Yeah. That was a mistake by the studio. It was a comedy with action in it, but all the promotion was about the action.
Also with Dan on The Conversation. Got to see it on the big screen a few years ago and it was brilliant. It has one of my favorite movie endings of all time.
For the anticipated summer movies question, outside of the big movies the thing I'm most looking forward to is First Reformed. Man, that movie looks great. I really hope it plays here.
Underrated movie by a celebrated director: Empire Of The Sun by Steven Spielberg.
