I watch your videos and see how hard you work,how many different repairs you can do while being a mobile outfit by yourself and I tell you the honest truth my friend. If I could I would love to set you up with your own shop.Give you whatever you need to do what you love doing just because I think your the kinda person that deserves it. As a mechanic myself i dnt know what shops you deal with but if youre waiting a week it's more than likely youre not waiting for the work. Youre waiting for parts to be delivered and other customers also need their cars fixed. You people always pull into a shop and want services done right away that you neglected forever and act like you're the only one who needs your car fixed. Come in for a 20 dollar oil change and a free tire rotation. Then when the technician let's you know you brake pads are paper thin while the have the tires off the cheap broke a66 customer still declines the repairs or pretend like the shop is trying to get over.
This is why I'll never let someone borrow my car again. My ex let her brother drive my car and he ended up running from the police and tore my shit up. I was pissed asf, especially when I found out he tried hiding my car at a car wash
I thought you had to cut the rivits and replace them with nuts and bolts when replacing upper bal joints ,first time ever seeing them being welded back in tart buying moog front end parts this won't happen again
You are right… this is wrong. First off the upper control arm should have been replaced if it was damaged. Off the top… and you never weld on a ball joint. NEVER!!! This is shitty work. Mf could have bought another upper control arm. And a new ball joint 🤦🏾♂️
I thought the same thing usually G body ball joints go through the top and you bolt them in But if that's what you wanted to get done you gotta do what the customer wants

Willwoods are some top of the line brakes. But those on that car are TOO small. That car needs at least 14-15 inch rotors and a 6pot caliper.
it's just a 1985 cutlass. It's not a fast ferrari. It's not going anywhere. It's only here on highway in america. Those brakes are fine.
