I'm 6'1" and 250, the K-Zero is a beast for a small carrier. First time out I ran a fairly heavy loadout and did an 8 hour shift. No issues, no hot spots. One caveat, I only ran IIIA soft plates.
i think the subzero will work best for me. Just an everday civilian who wants armor incase SHTF didnt want to spend $300 on just the PC but under $200 for a battle tested brand is a good life insurance policy and that leaves me a little extra to put towards quality plates
the lack of padding on the sub zero reminds me of a mix of a JPC and a Slickters.. JPC for the back of the plate bags, and the straps of a Ferro Slickster. PS I own the Kzero for almost 2 years now, very happy with it.

My only concern with the sub zero is the shoulder pad comfortability. I’ll wear 15-20lbs of plates for events such as tactical games or proving grounds, with slick setups. If I added good shoulder pads to it would it feel similar to the k-zero on the shoulders?
the size noted on the website (Medium/Large) relates to the plates you will be using, not body size. If you click the "Sizing" tab on the product page, it will explain all that. But to answer your question, mine is Medium, which fits standard 10x12 plates.
@HarleyWood23 Good Day, a further question regarding sizing the rig, I know you mentioned in the initial video how you could adjust at two points on the Cumberbund, and how you liked the particular adjustment you used because it didn't expose the velcro to tear up the shirt. All that said, when you said you maxed out the size, is that with both adjustments at full extension or just one of the two maxed out. I don't mind having the velcro exposed if needed and just slap a patch of the inverse velcro to protect clothing. I'm a bit larger than you but like the concept and want to see if I can make it work! Just saw this video and not sure if you will see this but the k-zero cummerbund back clips should be removable unless they have changed it

I guess for a civilian use case with it being made for concealment it’s a great choice

the lack of padding is most noticeable for me, in the straps. The K-Zero is much more comfortable in that regard. Thanks for watching.

Yeah, the K19 is a great choice.
@HarleyWood23 Right I have both like you and actually prefer the k-19 over the k0 but was going to get a third for a different location.
I would pick the sub zero over the k19. K19 is good but too damn hot and it is much harder to shoulder your weapon.

That suppressor so loud I had to wear ear pro to watch this video.
That’s not a suppressor. It’s a linear compensator that helps direct flash and sound forward.
You need to walk with a bit more of a wider stance. No bueno when targets shoot back and your tripping on ur own steps.
