You are 100% right, aero fell off so hard , the shipping times are 6 weeks minimum for in stock item and good luck getting some one on the phone, I used aero all the time for the set screws over roll pin benefits and all the receivers used to fit nice and tight but….no more. Their more focused on neon builders sets and cerakoted items instead of qc

Very nice. We run a lot of similar items. My primaries are a 14.5" RDS/5x mag, and an 18" SPR upper 2-12x, both Criterion Core, all home built, primarily Midwest/Magpul furniture, blue Sprinco / H2 (same lower) and an EZTune gas tube / fixed block in both. Love those barrels - they are lights out tack drivers. And thankfully I've had good luck with the 77g AAC OTM, which is barely more expensive than 55g ball.

Criterion will check your headspace if you order from them. What if you order a criterion barrel from a different dealer. Is it something that needs to be checked by the armorer who is building your upper?
That said, I have (3) BCM14.5s which i bought as complete uppers and I have a 13.7 from SOLGW. I dont know if those were checked, im assuming they did. But i ask because im thinking of buying a couple of Criterion barrels and pairing them up with SOLGW upper receivers and BCM rails.

@operatorsanonymous1741 I really appreciate you responding. I have one in a 6.5 CM that has under 200 rounds. It's babied along like a bolt gun, so it could have snuck by long enough time for me to purchase another in a hard use gun. Not good. I've never owned one before now. I've worn out a couple of Milspc phosphate in my years and had no fun cleaning them. I did buy a couple of Melonite. I'll pass on NB in the future. They are all pretty low round count so far. I know you've mentioned 3 you like. If you only had one to choose, what would it be? What about DLC?
