The train stopped in several small town including Swidnica, Jedlina and Nowa Ruda. The train engine is from the 1970's and is in great condition. Special thanks to Dominik and the Klub Sympatyków Kolei we Wrocławiu. Thanks everyone, I had a great time on the train.
All those videos that have contributions by Dominik are super interesting.
I'm glad that you enjoyed the videos with Dominik. He has been super helpful to me here in Poland, and he's also a friend.
A beautiful train trip to the southern Poland! An awesome scenery with a lot of history and traditional Polish culture! I enjoyed it very much! Thanks for sharing!
These were, once, my stomping grounds. Nice to see that these lines and equipment are being maintained and all the guys are sooo good in English! Gratulacje, panowie.
Did you work on trains? Yes, the crew are good at English and were very kind to me.
Great trail, great adventure.
What an awesome train ride. Next, it's in to the mines. 🙏🇵🇱🚃
Hello everyone another brilliant video by Kerry a really quality youtuber
Thank you. 🙏🇵🇱
If you are interested in old trains - you need to go again to Poznań and from there take one of the old trains to Wolsztyn. In fact, in Wolsztyn there is what seems to be the only active locomotive depot in Europe, and several regular trains run by steam locomotives between Wolsztyn and Poznań. This is a normal, regular service, and in Wolsztyn, various steam locomotive parades, festivals, etc. are organized.
Old steam locomotives. That sounds like a real treat. 🚂👍🏻

A very enjoyable video. The trip thru the Owl Mountains and the historic background from the men working the train ride was very interesting. The scenery was very nice. The town was impeccable and spotless. Nice video my friend. Looking forward to part 2.
That's so nice to hear. We had a great time on the train and I'm glad that you enjoyed watching us. 🙏🏻
Nice! Love those historic train rides, interested to see the second part.
What a great ride through the mountains on this historic train. The next part will be very interesting.
I'd love you to do a visit to ŚWIDNICA in the near future. It has the wooden church of piece. Cheers TAG.
I appreciate the suggestion. 👌
A unique structure, mostly wood, this Church of Peace.
Zadziwia mnie Pan .
I love traveling to lesser known places. There is more to come too. 👍🏻
Irena Sendlerowa saved lots of Jewish people during the WWII for which she risked immediate shooting on the sight by the Germans. In this she was absolutely audacious and crazy.
She has her tree at Yad Vashem.
She is a brave Polish hero. Thank you for sharing her story.
@@TravelAddictGuy Welcome. Although not being tribal patriot dancing around a bonfire with a bone in my nose, this woman always brings me down to earth and makes me feel like a small nitwit- which is always good for mental health to reset.
They called Irene Sendleowa the angel of Warsaw ❤
@@jacqueline970 That's beautiful.
Thankyou my friend
Thanks. 🙏
Good weather and very nice sights! I understand why people who come here start (and often end) in a few usual spots on the map- capital, Kraków, Gdańsk, but there is an argument to be made why smaller towns should also be incorporated into the trip. Especially on subsequential visits, where important museums, art galleries etc. are already checked out.
It was a beautiful trip through the mountains. I hope that more adventurous foreigners will now decide to visit small towns in Poland. I'm looking forward to seeing more. Dziekuje.
An interesting fact: Poland is the henhouse of Europe, there are approximately 25.7 billion poultry in this country)))
That's a lot of chicken. 🥚
Niemcy uwielbiaja polskie gesi co roku w Boze Narodzenie w Niemczech musi byc polska ges, bo najlepiej smakuje, pozdrawiam z Koeln nad Renem
Hey travel guy...Irena Sendlerowa saved many children from jewish getto...during WW2, she was a nurse. Movie was made in US about her 😢
From the mural, it looked like she was someone who helped children. What an amazing woman. I have a lot of respect for her.
Isn't the smell of railway lines specific? nice my 'big' friend.
I smelled a lot of good fresh mountain air. It was wonderful. Cheers, my friend. 🍻
Beautiful trip. Unfortunately, I could not do more than 1 trip on a train from krakow to warsaw.
Why is that?
@@TravelAddictGuy was mainly working and had no time. I regret not taking more train trips. I love Krakow main galeria/train station and also the country side going up to warsaw. One day I shall return to the city of kings.
@@AnonymousC I see, I thought maybe you had a bad experience. Polish trains are fantastic and a great way to explore the country. Krakow is a wonderful city.
@@TravelAddictGuy No it was great and a very pleasant experience. Poland trips even on foot are more pleasant than many other countries. I used to hike in Zakopane and cannot wait till I do it again. My favorite will be Krakow always :)
You have missed trains railway estakade in Strzegom and it just has been renovated ..
Thanks for the information.
Wszyscy jada do Warszawy do Krakowa a tutaj jeden amerykanin przyjechal do Świdnicy Śląskiej ??? W Gòry Sowie ...Szczerze !!! Jestem w Szoku .👍👍👍
I was so excited to visit this beautiful part of Poland. 🙏🏻
Te fact you can pronounce Ś flawlessly but struggle with the Polish "c" is wild. It's pronounced "ts" my friend, so Świdnitsa ;)
I'm trying my friend. I have had no training in the Polish language.
@@TravelAddictGuy Ha ha, no worries. I was impressed at your ability to pronounced Ś in Świdnica. That's impressive. So it was funny when you mispronounced comparatively easy letter "c" ;)
Niesamowite ,że ktoś z Ameryki chcial tutaj przyjechać .???
Dziekuje.
Co w tym niesamowitego?
So are you loving Poland more than Spain yet? Saludos
That's tough to say, they both have many of the things that I like. Spain is for sure too hot in summer.
14:45 this is not a Polish eagle, it's a Silesian eagle :)
Thansk for the correction.
14:01 - that is not polish eagle. That is post WW II Wrocław coat of arms 1948-1990
Ohh that's what that was. It almost looks like 2 eagles.
@@TravelAddictGuy Because they are, on right side is silesian black eagle and other side polish white eagle.
@@LauraArniman Wonderful.

Świdnica place where i was born
It looks like a very nice city. I want to go back and see more of it. 👍
4:14 Dominic! You are still here?
Dominic could not come with us, as his Father is sick.
wciagnela mnie ta ciekawa podroz historyczna i wytrwalem do konca odcinka , pozdrawiam z Koeln (Germany) i wszystkiego dobrego
I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video. Hello to Koeln from Wroclaw.
Spotkamy sie to porozmawiamy
C in Polish is pronounced as "ts", not "k", so "Shvidnitsa" not "Svidnika".
Thank you for that. I don't know if I'll remember this, but I'll try. 🙏🏻
some english speakers really struggle with switching C pronounciation
@@wiesawpyc7370 Considering they speak out this shit once as "se" and another as "k" in not very intuitive way..
@@wiesawpyc7370 The best example is Wrocław - most English call it "rocklow"
Świdnica Śląska czy się Panu podobała ???.
Yes, it's a very nice looking place. I want to come back here and explore the whole city.

Co Pan myśli o tym wszystkim ??? What about that it.???.
I really enjoyed the train ride through the owl mountains and the great scenery along the way. In the next videos I explore Nowa Ruda.
Grunwald this is the place where the biggest battle in the Middle Ages took place, which the Poles won against the Germans
This is where it took place? That is some incredible history. 😳
