How to apply Smart Focus in Camtasia 20 Example

In this tutorial I provide an example of how to apply Smart Focus in Camtasia. Since I have recorded in 1080p, I must first have Camtasia reduce the edit size to 720p. Then the Camtasia SmartFocus can be applied. Remember that if you don't like certain Camtasia Smart Focus elements, you can delete them. Just choose the ones you want, delete the ones you don't, and you will have successfully applied and added SmartFocus to Camtasia recordings you have made.

This feature doesn't work at all on my vs 2020.0.6 (112633). No matter what resolution I have the canvas, the drag and drop into the timeline or on a clip does nothing. Not even a warning dialog shows like in your video. It just pretends you don't exist. Anyone else having this issue?

Can you even drag the animation onto the video?

@@cameronmcnz Yup.. several times, in preferences I even enable the checkbox "Apply Smart Focus to clips added", also Modify -> Animations -> Smart Focus is unavailable.
