There was nothing *NOTHING* after 3. We don't talk about it. BUT Gundam Breaker 4! We talk about.
What about Mobile? It still counts as a Breaker game. I mean it even got its own spinoff anime lol
@@paradox_saber54 What game? Never existed.
Its trash lol @@paradox_saber54
@@jaystoyreview4613Gundam Breaker Battlouge
The game server has closed, that's why u can't search it/play it now
Gundam evolution could’ve been sm fun just needed more polishing and released at a super unfortunate time with overwatch 2 releasing
New Gundam breaker had a bunch of licensed gundam music when you awakened that you could set per suit. Maybe I’m missing something, but that point stood out to me in this vid
Same for Gundam Breaker 3, when you awakened and use mode like Trans-Am,NTD or anything else, it will play the official bgm
As some pointed out, New Gundam Breaker did have the licensed tracks. I had my "soundtrack" in game shuffling between Wing and Unicorn for the majority, myself.
correction: they do have liscensed gundam music, but it's limited to the songs that are tied to your super modes: i.e, if you go hyper mode, it plays the burning finger theme, if you go Trans Am, it plays Trans Am Riser.
Other songs included are Boy who killed adolescence, Unicorn, and Red Stroke, just to name a few.
In new gundam breaker, if you go over to setup mode, and press triangle on top of your build, you can select wich bgm play in a fight, including licensed music
@@trashkitty8736 let's hope this is the one feature they keep from new breaker
@@GuiltlessGear well. I actually quite like ngb, ive only played that and gb2 though. I just hope 4 will be a good game
@@trashkitty8736If you played 2. 4 will be better than NGB.
@@FoxyPercival714I hope so! dont really get the hate behind NGB though, all of the ones i played have been fun. though, i didnt like playing 2 by myself, way funner with a friend, while i actually enjoy playing NGB by myself
In the Nintendo Direct that was on the same day, it was said "Lets take a look at the games that comming out in the first half of this year".
Not sure how acurret these information are but it would be nice to see it that soon :D
They haven't announced a delayed yet so let's see.
"These games only have generic BGMs" except if you equipped a part with a radio option or used certain moves like Trans-Am. I did this in GB3 and got to hear a lot of classic Gundam battle themes.
I hope they will add a custom bgm feature for GB4 just like MBON or Cross Rays, sometimes I think even the gundam bgms are not enough for my mood when in battle and it will be great if we can listen anything we want in the game
I hope they've learned all the lessons from "new gundam breaker".
being cautiously optimistic about this one
They released some aditional information to some content creators stating that pretty much everything they added in NGB like parts swap and pvp focus has been removed so thats encouraging
I did like the huge maps in ngb and the quest system was pretty cool. It was a good idea that was executed poorly
It's nothing like New gundam breaker as there's one major difference.
Gundam breaker 4 is a.
*REAL GUNDAM BREAKER GAME*
If nothing else, I hope the Mobile Kits introduced in NGB are carried on. Like, say, the Nightengale.
This is the sixth iteration, the fifth was Gundam Breaker Mobile
New Breaker and Breaker Mobile aren't real and they can't hurt me.
RIP Mobile. I'll never forget you.
@@BlitzkriegOmega With some of their announcements for the game, it is listed as the sequel to both of those as well as 3
@@FireFight.Lullabies without the "moblie phone trash" we would not have gotten some of the best gunpla kits also the game was not trash
@@FireFight.LullabiesSays someone who never played them, and has no idea what he's talking about. Like already said, GBGW/GBM is what proved to Bandai Breaker is a still a money maker and got us this game, and several real gunpla and series.
The soundtrack has always been there since 2, at least. I still remember Unicorn blasting whenever I burst while NT-D is active
ngl, after how they treated us in previous titles, (including the brutal treatment of the mobile game), I'm trying my hardest to be excited.
Fair. I want to play so bad. But knowing Bandai, they'll probably eventually break our hearts.
@@whateverwhatever4026 agreeable, bandai really done gundam dirty lately.
no anime/manga (rereleased, or something new and sustainable, cuz they're REALLY hard to find, region locked exclusivity)
no games; they've stopped most support and updates, and older games are locked to older consoles without some emulation.
limited gunpla; popular with large variety, BUT they refuse to produce enough for worldwide availability, even limited which models are allowed to be exported.
So yes you can double wield both melee and ranged based on clips we see in the trailer, they have said that they will not be including the things from NGB fans hated like the parts switching (and hopefully builder parts having practical use again) and unlike NGB it won’t be PVP focused. I agree the graphics are a shame but then I remember that it will be on the switch and if they are going to have cross platform play lowering the graphics will be needed so really it’s the Switch’s fault.
I can live with the lower graphics if we get GB3 level of customisation and GB2 stage and story design
Lower graphics also mean they can just reuse the older assets, which means higher chance of them using more parts from games like GB Mobile (which had comparable model quality to these, if not the same). Personally, I'd rather have more parts than better graphics, so that would be a win in my book (if they keep adding the parts that they techncally already modelled for GBM, which I hope they do - it had over 450 kits!)
Seeing as this is getting a Steam release, I’m sure high resolution texture packs or mods for lighting will add to the visuals in time.
WILL WE GET PVP THO THATS ALL WE NEED AND THIS GAME WILL BE COMPLETED
God I hope!!!
I hope this Gundam Breaker is good 🙏
Breaker 3 from what I remember did have some licensed music (using hyper mode during awakening triggered the appropriate song from G Gundam for example) but also I kind of like having original music too so I don't feel like I'm getting bashed over the head with the same tracks they put in every other Gundam game that I've heard a million times during levels.
Yup. Especially for the bosses.
It's dlc, but if you got the Radio options, you could over-write the stage music / transformation music. I used Thunderbolts jazz & Blue Frames music alot. I forget if there was Crossbone Gundam music.
Oh my god is gona be for pc too!?!?
I can finally play gundam breaker again! :D
Cool that they're separating the arms and weapons now....Pretty soon we should be able to do the whole kit custom, like irl. Should have done the legs too, but i recognize that would be difficult for actual gameplay....
Same but some others gave a alternative for different hips separate from legs
@@diamonshade7484 That's a good idea too. It should just keep getting better and better with more separation. Someday it'll be like irl and we can even go in and customize actual individual pieces. Like not a whole hips section, I mean like scribing individual skirt pieces. That would be great.
And for anyone wondering:
GB3 is considered the best:
Customization
Learn skills (Like Trans Am/Hyper Mode/Shining Finger/etc) and mix it with your model no matter what gunpla parts you use
Builder Parts (Adding more funnel/swords/gun/etc) was more than just stats/look, but you can USE any additional weapons you add onto your gunpla
Combat was high-speed, almost like those dynasty-warrior style. Very flashy.
Collecting parts was simply put, go into a mission that has that gunpla that appears, and you beat it to get the part.
New Gundam Breaker literally took these systems and:
SKills/abilities is locked to the part, so if you wanted to use Shining Finger, you HAD to have Shining Gundams Arm attached.
Builder Parts lost function, and only existed for looks. Function got replaced with boring stats change such as Melee Damage up, etc.
Combat was slower, clunky almost. Automatic Lock-On was a NIGHTMARE.
Collecting part was a needless choir where you had to pick up up to 5 pieces on the field, go BACK to a loot-box and drop it off to grab them. And I THINK the parts that dropped were...RNG to some extent?
So...
Praying Gundam Breaker 4 is more akin to Gundam Breaker 3 atleast (Which it kind of does so I am very very happy and looking forward to it xD)
Gundam SD Battle Alliance is what got me (truly) into Gunpla, Starting with an SDEX Sazabi and it's been one Hellova ride since then! Lookin forward to this since I've never gotten to play a Gundam breaker game before and was advised to steer clear of New Breaker.
I'm just hoping there's none of the modern BS like a battle pass or something. Charging full price and then asking me to dish out another ~10 bucks per season is criminal.
The only way investors want money. Unfortunately.
I get it will be like sd Battle alliance, a few kits for like 5-8$ at a time. Just hope it lasts longer
Having the game on xbox would be nice.
We need a gundam armored core collab game
you know that won't happen, but if it did it better be sunrise giving From Software a lot of creative freedom. From Gundam if you will. The one nail in the final product would have to that the game would have its own timeline, but one of those that could fit into either the OG or seed. But honestly haha could you see Solid Snake piloting a gundam and it be a sunrise production.
Gundam Unicorn Ps3 basically Armored Core Game play with Gundam. Same devs. Fromsoftware. It's literally what u describe.
@@gerogyzurkov2259 i played it, but need more, can you imagine the greatness?
@@vinuto9 imagine raiden in the grey shinanju im down
White glint and amuro fighting together sounds awesome 😎
Gundam Breaker games do have the anime soundtrack in them. If you enter Awakening mode and then stack your Gunpla's special skill on top of it (like Trans-Am or NTD) then the BGM switches to the theme associated with said skill. Also, while I can't remember if past Gundam Breaker games did it, NGB also gave the option of going to the music menu switching the BGM to various soundtrack remixes from the anime too.
I bought gundam breaker 3 break edition on ebay from an asian country that released it in english, i fucking LOVE that game and i am so excited this is coming out in America. I really hope they include most of the recent kits including the ones from tge anime about gundam kits( sorry cant remember the name its been too long. 😅)
According to the dev team, we’re getting over 250 model kits to start, with more to come over time via season passes
There's 4? series about gundam kits (the Build Fighters/Divers series) by now, and even Gundam Breaker 3 already had some kits from the first one, so I'd be surprised if GB4 didn't have at least 2-3 kits from each of these shows (GB3 had a total of ~150 kits on release, while GB4 will have ~250, so there will be quite a few new entries to the roster - especially since further DLCs are apparently confirmed, which I assume will add new units)
I hope it's like exactly like gb3, but with new mobile suits from the latest gundam series with a good story....cause I hated the story of gb4 and how each moble suit had set stats instead how they leveled up in gb1-3
holy shi- i thought my birthday was on the 12th but it LOOKS LIKE ITS TODAY CAUSE THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVER!
considering the info they've given (features people disliked from new not returning), I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
I am glad they are doing a PC release at least, New Gundam Breaker being the only single player PC Gundam game was an absolute crime
I've only ever played New Gundam Breaker, I liked it a bit, though it was a bit lackluster in single player content outside of it's barebones story mode and little variety in missions.
I only hope of the next battle location for the game will allow us to fight in the middle of space weather like an asteroid field destroyed spaceships and an abandoned military base in space but we don't have to you know necessarily worried about you know gravity where we were just floating and moving around and attacking each other cuz I think that will be cool like in the Gundams Dynasty Warriors 2 game if you look it up about it you'll find that to be interesting that's all I'm saying I actually hope they have something like that in the new Gundam Breaker for game what do all of you think🤔❓️
Additional info omitted from the video that was given to other content creators that should be shared:
The game will be a direct sequel to Breaker 3/Breaker Mobile and Breaker Battlouge
Features such as swapping parts out mid fight among other features from New Breaker are being dropped in favor of Breaker 3 style gameplay
If you want a physical copy of the game, you'll need a Switch or PS5
This game will have the biggest amount of at launch machines in the series at over 250

My wallet is not ready
@@orin4917 🥲
I'm still broke from Mobile
I never played any of the series, but I hear it’s gonna be on switch too, can’t wait
Same. Only have had experience playing the old ps2 gundam titles.
No pre-orders since we might get a New Gundam Breaker 2 instead 🤣
Super Robot Wars games at one point allowed you to upload your own MP3 songs and that's how you got your fav Gundam music in the game.
But Bandai quickly realized they could strip you off of this ability so they could instead make a Premium Sound edition of each new SRW game to make you pay extra to have music instead of arranged MIDIs. Not only that but those Premium Sound editions are also limited time purchase only, meaning if you don't buy it at launch it will become unavailable for purchase later (despite being digital releases meaning they can't run out of copies in stock), ultimately creating false sense of rarity to predate on your FOMO.
Also Japan has probably the most strict copyright laws on Earth and fair use is not even a thing. Combined with how it probably also has to do with singer contracts being involved etc don't expect to hear actual songs in any of the Gundam games.
I haven't played the SD Battle Alliance but with Battle Operations 2 on pc - it also had severe framerate issues because it automatically uses the integrated GFX card. You have to manually switch it to use the dedicated one for it to run better.
I've played modern SRW games up to SRW30, and they do still allow you to load your own music and set it as BGM for particular units/series, though - despite selling premium sound editions of the same games. In fact, even Extreme VS Maxiboost has that feature despite being a console exclusive - so I wouldn't be surprised if GB4 does, too.
Still miss GbGw finally gonna scratch that Gunpla itch again
Same
It looks like they are going back to the GB3 style which is the best move since New Gundam Breaker was just bad
Considering how epic and melodramatic the plots of Gundam shows are, it really amazes me that Bandai Namco hasn't made a great story-based Gundam jrpg. It's not like they are incapable of doing it. The Tales games have some great plots. And it's not like a Gundam game would be limited to established canon. They could just make a new timeline (with original mecha) for a game series.
I have been looking and I just can't find a Gundam game that looks like it captures that Gundam feeling. Gundam is more than just robot action.
MS Saga didn't do it for you?
@SgtPotShot a pretty good (old) classic jrpg... a remaster of it to play on modern hardware would be awesome
They tried with MS Saga. It didn't go well.
@@SgtPotShot I haven't even heard of that game until now. But whether it was good or not, it is nearly 20 years old. Bandai hasn't tried since the PS2 to make a Gundam rpg?
@fattiger6957 The SD Gundam series has been around for a while now, but those are tactical rpgs, and they aren't sold in the NA region without importing it.
Bandai has sales basically every other week, so it's only natural to wait this one out
maybe I watch a review first before buying the game when it official release, worth it or not. Like you said, if preorder but the game not meet our expectations like new gundam breaker, will not satisfied and down so bad, right? For me I will play safe first, watching other review how good the game is
No real point to preordering games nowadays unless you really want that physical release ASAP; on the other hand, there are some good news, between them rolling back the stupid limited inventory/live part swap system from NGB, and bringing back features like collecting multiple copies of parts and levelling/developing/ranking them up, this should technically be at least a decent follow-up to GB3 - unless they mess up something entirely different this time around.
Hope they take inspiration from Gundam Breaker 3 rather than the mess that was New Breaker
What's this "new breaker" you're talking about because all I remember is the last game was 3.
Gunpla is FREEDOM (SEED Freedom's song reference).
I actually intend to preorder that collector’s edition for Switch in a few days or so. I want that special edition Gunpla kit, its been a little while since I bought my EG RX78 FWS and EG Strike, and I’ve mostly swore off buying Transformers toys going forward, so I want to go all in on Gunpla going forward.
Pretty excited for this but ngl, secretly hoping that GBM comes back somehow or atleast that the GBM/Battleogue kits show up as well
I am so happy that Gb4 is coming out, GBM was a game I always played but when it got deleted I was pretty sad, so seeing one I can play on PC and its brand new, I am VERY hyped
I enjoyed SD alliance. I preordered that. What I’m still salty about is the GBM we lost. It would have been cool to import your mobile creations into the console game. But I’ve never played a previous one. Do you get pilots as well? What we really need is another Dynasty Warriors Gundam or Battle Assault game. Those were really fun.
The gameplay of three feels like the Dynasty Warriors Gundam games with the main difference being that each level is made up of variously sized rooms that you'll clear before moving to the next one facing mini bosses along the way till you meet a big boss at the end of the level.
I would love a new Battle Assault game.
I hope they add an option to skip all cutscenes. I hope they also increase the amount of builder parts you can add to make some cool custom stuff.
something to note i'm surprised you didnt is that you can FINALLY have different arms in this one. so one arm could be The AgeFX's and the other be the Burning Gundam's.
I may have to give this game series another shot! I have only played NEW Gundam Breaker! Hope it is good! I really just want the model kit! 😂
I’m probably more interested in the exclusive pla. Honestly for $90 for a collector edition isn’t that bad. The kit itself is at least $20 USD if retail released. Hopefully the game itself is at least good.
Thank god! I was praying we would get a actual gundam breaker 4. New gundam breaker was so hard to keep playing after the previous 3. Hopefully it looks good on ps5. I put over 400 hours on gundam breaker 3
I do agree with the music... I wouldn't mind if they had a dlc to add in good music.
Both 3 and new had license music, To play music in 3 you had equipped one of the optional parts speakers or using awakening alongside EX awakening type of ability like NTD to play a specific soundtrack
I Reborns Gundam ain't in the game, i ain't buying. I've been wanting to make a custom Reborns since i discovered the Breaker series.
The fact that they threw away the "New" and are calling it Gundam Breaker 4 makes me believe they want to distance themselves from it and will probably attempt to bring as close to the previous entries as they can, which makes me much more optismitic despite being the same developers.
So... How many TV anime, movies, OVAs [and hopefully even manga] lines of mobile suits does anyone think will actually be featured among the 250 in the *_base_* game?
I sure hope they're not going to skip out on any old or new series. They're obviously *not* going to include close to every Gundam or non-Gundam model kit release ever, but I wanna see 'em all represented.
I may be delusional, but I am basically PRAYING that we get another Breaker Battolouge wave.
I was playing breaker 3 slaying with my straight build Shenlong gundam when I bandai posted breaker 4 I probably will pre order once I can
Never would I think I would fight with model kits. I haven’t heard of this before so I wouldn’t know.😅
I guess Armored Core 6 made Bandai Namco reinstate new Mech Games....Maybe a western release for Super Robot Wars could be done by them.
Today I got Gundam Barbataurus, it’s gonna be a pain but I love him.
this is getting confusing, do I get an actual gunpla or an ingame gunpla with the collector edition 😅
You get an actual Entry Grade, and I think you get it in-game too.
Extremely excited although that THING we got after 3 is going to make me wait a solid month after release to decide
As someone who's yet to play 3, but played 2 and loved it, the hype is real. I can only imagine how many will use Aerial's shield
I'm so hyped for this! I bit the bullet and pre-ordered the collector's edition for Switch. I spent so much time playing Gundam Breaker 1-3 on my PS Vita, so it will be nice to relive the experience on my Switch. Hopefully 4 is just as good or even better than 3!
They need to make an AC like game. And drop these... live service ish games
Before I even think about buying the game I need to see the full list of Gundam that will appear.
Are you kidding me.....? 1. What do you think it's gonna be 10 suits and the rest dlc? 2. The last one came out, idk, 8 years ago or so, if you had fun with gb3 there's no reason this isn't gonna be amazing
@blackbullet06 Ik it's gonna be good. But I always hated the seeing like 30 variations of the same kit instead of multiple different kits.
@@vidar_kensei7446 I get ya on that. The older Gundam stuff has a lot that of Gouf variants and I feel the same way. I jumped on with Gundam Wing back in the day and since then they've been more unique with each series. That's all I was getting at. But fully agree the earlier stuff is....not the best choices lol
Personally, I did the preorder. I usually don't care to go for physical games but I wanted the collectors edition of this.
Gundam Breaker 3 had licensed music for super modes, so I wouldn't be surprised if it returned for that here too.
Super excited for the new Gundam game! 🤩🎮
I hope that we get all gunpla from even metaverse and the mobile game. The amount of customizations would be nuts.
well I find the Nintendo Switch version on Amazon, and I'm planning on pre-ordering it, so hopefully I'll get those parts, and that cool looking neon like colored strike gundam model kit.
Yeah, when you said 5 entries... There are only 4... and one "black sheep".
*Looks at New Gundam Breaker*
No seriously, I can speak from experiance since 2019 that GB3 for the PS4 was AMAZING.
I got the one with english subs and the PS4 is region free.
Just hope some new gundam kits show up. *Looks at Gundam Seed Freedom* I'm just happy to play this on steam.
I have a copy of NEW Gundam Breaker, and I do go back to it from timeto time, but… given I literally paid $26 for it..? I wasn’t holding out hope that it would be really great. It does have it’s merits though, because it does have official music in it. That being said, I really hope ‘this’ game goes much better, and I’ll definitely be getting it for the Switch.
Vaporwave Strike made this an instant buy. Having never played the other ganes and only having a Switch to game on makes things a little easier to swallow
This allowed us to build a Gunpla called "Cobra's Psychozgun" in GB4.
good to hear about another game coming out hope to see its good.
It's likely going to be pre-order for me. I prefer to have a physical copy and these games aren't ones most retailers will carry unless they're pre-orders.
Gotta disagree on the price point. $60 is fine. I paid that much for GB3 and was happy with it. Alas, the Break Edition w(Normally a literal penny more for all the DLC included) was sold out at the time so I paid another $60 for all the DLC. With that meaning creating an Asian PSN account to do so and foreign transaction shenanigans, it was worth every penny for all the play the game got.
Same here. Pre-order for me, though I'm gtting the deluxe edition. Nothing against Gunpla, I just don't trust myself to not mess up when making it.
Ummm. . .
I'm pretty sure they had licensed music when you fought bosses or used awakening. At least they did in GB3 and "the one that shall not be named".
They need to team up with Kori for DW Gundam 4
I honestly thought SD Gundam alliance ran fine on the switch. Did it suck that it's frame rate was lower than others? Yes. But when on handheld, didn't even notice it tbh. Hoping I can say the same about breaker
"Comes with gunpla" take my money fuck it my wallet just give me that gunpla!
Yay, more gundam video game content. Hopefully, it stays open more than a year *coph z gof* (Gundam evolution)
Day 18 of asking Mecha Gaikotsu to review the Sentinel Riobot Gurren Lagann
Bandai really need to make Gundam first, then Gundam game second. Breaker is pretty good, but they could need to up their game to really be on the same level with other games that can't rest on such franchise.
What do you guys think the story of this game will be, given that there's often a story attached to the Breaker series?
ok then what system does the weird rx782 use? GUND Format,ZERO System,Alaya-Vijnana ? =))))
I'm gonna be playing the third game in preparation for this bad boy when we get information on it's release day. So happy that this was announced!
I always wait instead of preordering. I would absolutely buy a special edition of an already released game after making sure the game is well developed. But that Gunbarrel Strike is tempting and the art on the Steelbook looks amazing.
I never played a Gundam Breaker game, but I’m hella interested.
Cool, I am excited but I kind of wish we could get Dynasty Warriors Gundam 4. I always prefer the games where we can play with the pilots from the anime, witch voice acting & story etc.
Me and the boys still play Breaker 3 break edition to this day
Yep, and it's for PC, and there's a test too
God they better release this on PC, we're dying for a good gundam game.
They will, it's confirmed on official website
Steam, Ps4/5, and switch releases.
they will, the description of the vid do say it will be on steam
The one caveat is that there is no PC collector's edition if you wanted the gunpla.
@@DarkeLourd Honestly, I'd just get the deluxe edition. 'm not really a gunpla guy, but I LOVE seeing the mechs.
I want that model kit, I'm on Xbox (Planning to switch to PC, but haven't started buying parts.) And I've never played a Gundam Breaker before. Would pre-order be the move or naaaaaaaaahh?
I'm trying to find somewhere I can pre-order from an official UK store and GAME's giving me 500 Internal Server Error lol, think I'ma skip but the exclusive model kit looks sick tho
I wonder now if we will be getting a gunbarrel strike premium bandai in regular colors
I still have questions about GBM like why it was shuted down?
10k likes 10k love for you awe.
no gundam soundtracks? you can choose your soundtracks in gundam breaker 3 equiping radio option equipment?
Gundam Breaker 3 is one of my favorite games ever, hope they can take what that game did and build upon what it great and make breaker 4 a fun experience.
Freaking FINALLY, A PC version that ISN'T NGB! I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that they learned from the serious mistakes and flaws NGB had. Even the whole point of gunpla, the part acquisition, in that game was atrocious that I gave up trying to obtain all of them because it was too much repetitive grind. And that's from someone who enjoys a good amount of grind. At least GBM was decent enough for a time-sink mobage... until it died.
NGB still left a bad taste in my mouth so I might hold off on getting this one until the reviews and/or the sale pops up.
