Thank you. I wish I had done a more fuller video but, as long as everyone gets the Idea then job done. By the way I bought the proper release cables from two car breakers on eBay. You can fit ones from the X type and s type Jags as well as some mid 2000 ford Mondeo saloons as the cables are actually marked as ford . Make sure when you buy that you have a left hand and right hand cable as they fit opposite ways for each catch. Also managed to get a black cover for one of the catches from eBay.
Hi, I no longer own the Jag but, this is from memory. open the boot and then lie on your back in the boot with your head touching the rear of the back seats. Directly look straight up from this at the grey carpet held in by plastic plugs. Remove the plastic studs and move the carpet back. This will show the back of the seat locks. if you look on my video you will understand better.
So x250 does have seats that fold, I was wondering why I couldn't do it... this is a hassle!
