Awesome review The ParWise looks really good - I noticed it has a peak par reading at 427 but was showing 380 or something vs 415 on the Apogee - that's interesting and probably more accurate than guessing the changing numbers off the Apogee I think it will become very popular and I hope we work out a way to use it to get better at acclimating corals. On the vid the Quanta Sun + 1 Meso combo looks incredible - definitely makes me wanna look at those lights again (although I'm in the EU plus I will probably go with T5s in future builds) I firmly believe that both ReeFi and Quanta lead the market in value for lighting for pucks and bars respectively and if I had to rank all pucks from best to worst disregarding price I think the new Reefi's would top the rankings. This review only enhances my opinion and I can't recall a review on either of these lights - thanks Rob and thanks Mr Graham for posting it!
The PARwise consistently reads ~20% low vs the Apogee. If you'd like to have Apogee aligned readings, multiply your PAR(not so)wise readings by 1.26. If you want a PAR meter that's less expensive than the PARwise, consider the VBR-Aqua from Amazon. It's a great device.
Nice 80/20 build!
Holy Micromoles, Batman!
