Willow Street fire company is without a doubt, the most professional and well-trained volunteer fire department.I have had the pleasure to watch.I don't understand why they aren't paid
Ok to the Aholes who bitch about the travel time from Willow Street to Columbia. It takes longer than that on a good day.. The point is, they were called, they responded!!!
I love these ride-along videos as I don’t see too many of them so your channel is definitely different from the others I watch. And thank you for your response to these calls. You travel a long distance to act as backup to closer fire stations and I’m sure the firefighters on scene thank you as well. Keep these response videos coming!
So you didn't see flames. So what? The point is Willow Street Fire Co volunteers were among several companies that responded to this massive antiques wharehouse fire. They were doing their job! Sadly, many vendors lost entire stocks of irreplaceable antiques as this historic building was a total loss. Thankfully, all souls were safe.
i was listing to the call .every fire co. from 30 miles around was called. all vol. except 2 . man power is always. thin ruial vol. fire co. better to call from large area and not need then wait and loose whole block.if you dont know south centeral pa.and the fact that gov. only gives vol. co. one half of one precent local tax to them. rest they must raise them selves.and we are looseing vol. fire co every day because of no money. feel lucky you dont have problem in your area. old 71 vol fire fighter emt.
"How do you want me to get to Columbia?" Officer: "I don't know. Turned of my IPad." Another sad day for America. Basic navigational skills gone. Psst, take route 30 west. Lol
@@haroldenglish943 yea man you gotta think these guys know their roads better then anyone around, they respond a lot and I mean every time I go through willow st something is happening
The powercall is traditional about as much as the q siren. I like to cycle through different tones based on the situation but I have noticed our hi-lo gets a lot of attention.
21 minute response time is too far to send a unit even if it is a mutual aid call. If your districts are that far apart you need more fire levy's to build more stations.
Hell in the town I worked in it took 20 minutes to get to the farthest part of town and that was going at a good speed. And this call wasn't probably In Their town and maybe the town Their going to doesn't have a lot of call volume to warrant have tons of fire stations. Plus if it's volunteer then there might not be enough people to fill those stations and this says 3rd Alarm so the closest stations to this town are probably all ready there so the 3rd Alarm companies are farther away.
Hi, I'm someone who specifically enjoys the ride along portion more. I'm still thankful for what they do on-scene, but dealing with traffic on the way and after arriving is something I can learn from. Just watch something else, thanks. -Roadside Assistance
Sir If you don't like the vid it's always free to click off the video just saying. And also yeah it's a ride along video. I'm not sure what more you were expecting.

What time did you get added to the dispatch as that fire was a lot earlier and we were already on scene at this point (75)
Wll I’m not the only one who had a fire alarm
Fire police blocking a road that the trucks aren’t even parked at lol

I'm sorry not a big fan of that power call siren sounds like a house alarm. Give me the good old fashion q air horns and the other sirens
The powercall is traditional about as much as the q siren. I like to cycle through different tones based on the situation but I have noticed our hi-lo gets a lot of attention.
@@fireflames-ue2gmAs much as I hate the sound of a Hi-Lo siren, it is scientifically proven to be the most effective

What a waste of time for 5 lame minutes of fire video
You’re literally watching a ride along video. Not a fire video.
