Thanks for the info! Love the video. Just subscribed, keep the videos coming. I got a couple questions, idk if you can help me out. Been thinking of applying at either the mclane in rancho cucamonga, says pay is at 85k-120 and the mclane in s.b is 70k-115k. Any idea which might be best option? The only difference i see is that rancho uses lift gates, so im leaning towards the higher pay. idk is its easier than a ramp or what. And do you know if the drug test is hair test or just the urine? I quit smoking 4 months ago. I should be able to pass a urine test. Idk about hair, though.
@@CheekClapington thanks for the sub I appreciate it. So the one in Rancho Cucamonga is restaurant they use liftgates and pallet jacks because they delivered a Taco Bell‘s Del tacos carl Junior stuff like that. The one in San Bernardino has all the 7-Elevens pilots and a couple of other stores but the main account is 7-Eleven. Now the one that I worked at was one in San Bernardino they were paying minimum pay at the time which is $2500 a check Minimum so no matter what at a bare minimum you’d make $2500. You have to be there all your days of work or when they call you because you start out on the board before you get your route then once you get your own route, you make a little bit more, especially in the summertime because it’s component and everything like that, I think about 85 almost 90 year.
@@CheekClapington the one in San Bernardino uses ramps, which can be a little aggravating sometimes just because going up and down it over curved stuff like that. I can’t speak too much on the restaurant side. I just know what they do. I don’t know how the workload looks or how long you have to be out with the San Bernardino one you’re out 10 hours usually. they do drug test and physical. I think they do both urine and hair but it’s been a while so don’t quote me but if you get on with them and you don’t mind being on the board on call for a few months, it’s not a bad gig every six months. The new bids come out so you might be on the board for six months and then you come off the board after six months, and pay $25 an hour for vacation purposes, but then it goes to 50 after your first year so basically there’ll be some days you can call in sick and make more than you were going out
Sweet! Ima try out rancho first. The 85k and no ramps seems cool. I want to be home everyday. I just hope they also have that 2.5k min. Or higher maybe. Component pay seems to be what id perfer. That seems pretty cool. Ive had my lic. for 9 years now. But been o/o for past 7 years, booking my own loads. So all this is new to me lol. Thank you for the info. Stay safe out there
