I agree. If they’re suppose to be yin and yang, and balance each other out; then shouldn’t they BOTH be leaders? It could be an opportunity for them to explore how they complement each other and learn how to work together despite their differences. Instead of putting unrealistic expectations on a literal teenage girl and pushing the boy aside, which is unfair to both of them, make them work together as equals. Make it fair for both characters. And all without the cringe and creep factors.
@@ashebennett7726 It's weird; Adrien is technically much more intelligent and cultured due to his education, so being a leader could help him to better socialize and gain confidence. Plus it's weird that the cat miraculous is hyped up as the only equal to Ladybug, but then they go the "your power is too dangerous" route so he often gets sidelined. And I hate how there's no growth as heroes; Adrien is still a goofy, ladybug-obsessed jokester as CN, and Marinette can still be hypocritical and biased as LB. Chloe was making more progress as QB.
One thing that i genuinely, really hoped for, is that if the movie is a huge success, we as the fandom should demand a reboot of the show, without Thomas and any of the current writers influence. As of now, its obvious the show is floating on a driftwood
I’ve seen Tiktok and TH-cam, most of the younger fans are still really into the show as it is and don’t see the problems. In this film, I'm really praying for Marinette to go about her feelings for Adrien in a healthy way and not being obsessive. I hope Adrien isn't blind to his feelings for most of the film's runtime, I hope they don't waste unnecessary time on Chloe. Establish her as the bad guy then let it be! I also don't want to see any irreverent side characters. We just need to focus on the core 4 (Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Nino) and the big baddies.
Part of me worries that if the film depicts their relationship and Marinette's crush in a healthy, positive way, fans will conflate it with the tv show and overlook her negative actions when viewing the series.

A good thing they could do for Gabe's character is that he initally ask for the Miraculous peacefully, explaining he wants to use it to save a dead/dying(?) person and will give them back afterwards. With Marinett and Adrian having to refuse because using the wish is simply too dangerous, making Gabe flip and start his villain conquest.

I honestly hope they have Adrien and Marinette fall in love in the first movie itself and focus on more interesting plot points like Gabe's backstory or Marinette adjusting to her role as Ladybug. They can start out with the love square, but over the course of the movie, Adrien falls for Marinette, and Marinette gains more confidence, and the two finally get together. You can have awkward moments, but nothing too cringe, and it shouldn't take up too much runtime. And definitely no stalker or creepy behavior from both Marinette or Cat Noir. I do wish Gabriel is written better, and side characters are strong.
If Gabriel stays as a ridiculous character in this film I'm gonna cry- I'm rooting for that one Gabriel we saw in the PV trailer back at 2012, who actually seemed like an actual treat even though he had like 5 seconds of screentime.
I hope Marinette has a healthy crush on Adrien. Like being able to talk to him with just a small blush. And I hope Chloé gets a redemption. And that Lila is a better liar and also don't make characters be out of character.

Well, there is a lot of filler and the character development is slow in the show so the movie can just use all the important parts and leave out the parts that aren't. I don't think there's a lot that they will be sacrificing in the movie
Season 1 is largely focused on concept and setting the scene rather than character development, so the film can draw on that and still have its own vision.
I hope in this alternative take we can keep a Chloe redemption or at the very least keep her as the bee holder in any future sequels because Zoe is not it. She's pretty insignificant as a character and makes no sense in context either (as if we're supposed to believe Audrey would even have another kid). Plus Queen Bee has a way better outfit than Vespiria. Also please don't make Marinette a creepy stalker who acts awfully towards any girl who so much as glances in Adrian's direction, it is one of the traits I really dislike about her tbh.
I mean, look at the villains from sailor moon who destroyed planets and killed possibly trillions and they got redemption. And vegeta for that matter? So why can’t a typical mean girl get one?
I dropped the show after season 3. I used to be one of those people who liked Chloe for the fact she could have developed as a character but, also out of spite cause the creator acted like she was the spawn of satan herself. That she can't be redemed. And yes it makes sense that it could have happen either way but, I think the execution with how they built it up wasn't that good. Like i feel like the development that they gave us made it more focus on the chance she could be good. I generally think they should have been an inbetween with seeing her still having doubts or feeling like she can't change. Maybe have Lila actual interact with her early making the insecurities worse slowly chipping her loyalty to ladybug away instead of just one or two episodes of her being mad she ain't get picked. And if they still choose to use the excuse "that sense hawkmoth knows your identity you can't be queen bee again." for the reason they didn’t choose her anymore it should have applied to the others to sense Hawkmoth knows all their identities to. Yet she only stopped with Chloe because of that and it's almost never brought up again. Like if their use that excuse make it a plot point whether it develops her to become an ally and understand the reason or to drive her over the edge. Like they could have had Lila being friends or friendly to her. Bringing her to spots where akumas are and mentioning how Ladybug didn't choose her to help. Maybe Chat and Ladybug end up talking about it and that the others are still miraculous users why isn't she if their identities are known to? Maybe Chloe would have heard out of context Ladybug saying she doesn't trust her or think she's worthy maybe she'd say that cause she's stressed cause she just became the master and doesn't truely mean it cause she's letting her personally feelings getting involved in her decision. But in the end this could have push Chloe to the betrayal and still make us not like her but, also understand her. I'm generally convinced the writers had something planned but the creator said no. Not saying Chloe deserved redemption or does now just saying the execution for her whole arc sucks. And then i also left cause the fanbase was gettting toxic toxic in season 4.
I agree, also why not have her as the main villain for the second movie(if they actually defeat Hawkmoth or he gets his wish) then we could get a proper redemption arc.
If this movie does great it's going to be very interesting seeing how Thomas reacts to it, more specifically how people would want the reimagined version that he had not part of over his version that he had full control of.
I’ve been a long time watcher of this show and I’ve found FanFictions that work better than a lot of what goes on in the show. They need to find a satisfying conclusion to the story before their audience completely ages out….. I started watching when I was 21 and I’m almost freaking 30 YEARS OLD and they haven’t gotten hardly anywhere.
I feel like the movie would be better if the main focus of it would be Marinette and Adrien, their character growths as equals not only Marinette in focus. Having both of them get into a relationship or fall in love at the end of the movie. I also think scraping Hawkmoth as a villain would be nice, for the majority of the show he has been nothing but a joke, if we only see the akumatized villains in the first film as major villains and set Gabriel up for the second film diving more into his past, his character growth, his relationship with Adrien deteriorating as he get more and more obsessive over the miraculouses and Adrien gaining more freedom and confidence as he finds his way out of Gabriel's manupilation and finally starts a relationship with Marinette. I feel like the first film should follow Marinette and Adrien as individuals so we get to know more about them, the show fails this really miserably making their character arcs only about liking each other.
The show is spaced more slowly I think because it’s made for kids even though older people like myself (34) still watch the show as a series I love it. Will I watch the movie? Probably If I watch the movie will I still watch the show? Absolutely. I love Zags writing for the show I think it’s possible that Astruc is ruining the show in particular how the characters are written.
I hope both marinette and Adrien get equal screentime. I mean the title is literally "ladybug and cat noir lé film", so only focusing on ladybug (marinette) is gonna be considered as "reverse sexism" (according to google). I don't think that's gonna happen
The only reason the show was episodic (1 plot per episode) is because Zag was a small company at that time, so if they wanted to make this show they had to make it that way. Now, it being an movie it has no reason to slow things down
I love how different Ladybug seems to be in the movies. I just finished my rewatching of season 1 and Ladybug was so serious and sometimes annoyed by Chat Noir's jokes and flits. She seems more playful and fun in the movie.
Honestly with Lila being the new monarch in season 6, I’m not as excited as I was for season 4 and 5, or any of the seasons bellow it. I’m an og fan and always loved miraculous, but honestly when it’s coming to season 6 I just sigh. I new this was probably going to happen, but I don’t want Thomas Astruc to stretch the tv show out so much to the point where it just snaps and looses it’s full meaning. Every single time we see ladybug and chat noir defeat monarch, blah blah blah every episode and the fans are getting tired. Miraculous ladybug content isn’t very relevant here on TH-cam, and whenever I try to search up something miraculous related I see a bunch of stuff posted like 5 months ago or even a year, and when I go to check the channel pages their most recent is months ago. I really hope that Thomas can redeem the show. The only thing interesting in the show is the Adrinette content and other stuff not related to monarch or ladybug and chat noir. I mean, don’t get me wrong I loved the show in the first 5 seasons, but as it slowly progressed I just got really bored. My stomach doesn’t turn when there’s a big plot twist, and I’m honestly not excited for season 6. This is just my opinion, and you don’t have to agree with it so no hate.
I'm a bit worried that this movie might be making similar mistakes that 'The Last Airbender' did. Primarily, taking 12 hours of content and trying to cram it into 2 hours of movie. Dune, which was adapted from a novel, also had similar problems.
@@DragonKingX78 I get that, but let's consider the scale of the problem. 5 seasons at 25 episodes per season at 20 minutes per episode, that's a total of 25x20x5=2500 minutes. If you can legitimately fit over 40 hours of show into 2 hours of movie, that's extremely depressing for the show.
Longtime victim of the show sounds about the perfect way to describe why I still watch it 🤣 i need to see it end. My 15 year old self has been strung along on and off with this show 5ever.
The thing is it feels long a tedious because it’s not exactly like an animie if u look at my hero academia it’s been 5 season’s roughly for 1 school year but it moves at a great pace u see all sides of the characters but in miraculous they move slowly in the same school year I feel I know more about Felix than the rest of the characters his growth has been fast
At least making the pacing faster for a few plot points that were in the earlier seasons. Like most episodes that occur then not advance the plot forward whatsoever, so reasonable cuts can be made so the timeframe is smaller and plot points are set up, explored, and resolved in a timely manner. That’s at bare minimum what I look forward to from the movie, as strange as it sounds because it will simply be refreshing as an early fan being subjected to the first three seasons.

I would LOVE to see the Nathaniel x Marc ship. Not like super big or anything and taking up screen time, but just in the background have them be holding hands or something. Or maybe have Marinette make freinds with one of them, indruces them to the other, they say "hi" at teh same time in an awkward but cute way, and then the screen switches to Adrien and he says "Marinette is so special" or something. idk. I think that could give Adrein some development in realizing his feeling for Marinette - Realizing she's a good, kind person. I also NEED some of the past ladybug (and maybe cat noir holders) in the movie. It's such a good plot point I think. I'm 80% positive it's gonna be included baacuse if you watch the suptitiles of the Netflix trailer, it says something like "Woman: You must face your fears to protect the ones you love" and the woman is unidentified. My intial thought was that was a past ladybug miraculous holder giving marinette advice in Marinette's song thing. I think that scene is literally called "A mission for Marinette" so that makes the most sense in my mind.
I also think they should upgrade the marketing as well, like I think that would help prevent this from being a box office box bomb (maybe it’s just me but compared to other animated films coming out around the same time we barely know anything, at least in the English market) But the writing *really* needs to be upgraded or else
I think miraculous is either considered a kids show too much or considered a failure too much for the movie to do too well. It will either be super simplified to be a true kids movie or people will find something to hate and it’ll bomb. I don’t think a sequel movie is in the cards for this franchise, but maybe a spin-off set in the future when Marinette is a master-fu like character to a new set of heroes. Adrien would probably be a lost love or dead or something.
I heard a spoiler that hawkmoth is going to be Lila's reunion ghost for a duration of the season 5 episodes😂😂 I don't know but this would be a huge for shadowing to the reunion episode.
I'm pretty sure Seasons 6, 7 and 8 are being planned so I doubt we will see much progression in the show? Great video, cant wait to see the movie and just subscribed!
I really want ladybug and cat noir to get together insteaf of adrien and marinette Maybe it's just me but I waited for years like my entire childhood for them to get together like they were the one that made the most sense and I just love them
If I wrote the plot it would look like this: Act One - We start off with a star, zoom out to galaxies. - Tikki’s voice narrates explaining what Miraculous are and we see various holders throughout the centuries. - She then speaks of great evil, we cut to a Tibetan temple and three explorers ( younger Gabe, Emilie and Natalie) running away with two Miraculous while being chased. - Shenanigans happen, the Temple is beginning to burn. - The original guardian is seen pushing the Miraculous box into an Asian styled knapsack and ninja mode escapes while the Temple is being ransacked. - Tikki continues to narrate some philosophical stuff about heroism and in we see a human-like hand reach out to us, Marinette reaches for it asking “who are you?” - Her mom wakes her up for school and we get a snapshot of her normal life. - At school, we meet Chloe who times Marinette’s late arrival with a prank (establishing her as resident mean girl). Chloe laughs off her prank and prepares herself to greet Adrien. - Outside, cameras swarm as the model Adrien Agreste prepares to exit his father’s car. Beside him, Gabe reminds him of the deal they made and Adrien solemnly nods. - Chloe, being on the Student Council, organizes for students to usher Adrien to his class. - The whole school is a-buzz as he walks through the halls. - Marinette exits the bathroom finally clean from Chloe’s prank and as she opens the door, it hits Adrien right in the face. Everyone gasps. - Nino, who was personally assigned to Adrien, comes to his aid, Marinette gets awkward being the center of attention once again. - When she realizes who he is, she apologizes profusely and offers him her handkerchief with her initials. - She flees the scene in embarrassment while Adrien looks at her questioning. He looks down and spots one of her designs with his face. - Marinette takes refuge in the art room where she stumbles into Aliyah. Mari bursts into tears, after trying not to cry, Aliyah comforts her (they don’t know each other yet. At this point they’re strangers) - Aliyah introduces herself and Marinette does the same - They head to home room as the teacher is taking the roll and hurriedly find available seats. - When Mari sees Adrien seated by Chloe, she is initially shocked then angered (basically like season 1). - The day goes by quickly (we zoom to the window where morning has turned to afternoon. - As the children exit the school, Mari excitedly talks to Aliya notices and ignores Adri and turns to go in the opposite direction with Aliya. - The pair of girls walk the streets doing girly teenaged stuff and happen upon an oriental store. Mari feels drawn and enters. -We see a shadow figure in the distance laughing menacingly, claiming “Ah, the city of love… Can’t wait to meet you.” - Inside the shop we meet an young woman a few years older than Mari. She senses her energy and awe and starts talking about the various things. Aliya is more interested in the mythical stuff. - Aliya and Shop Girl are talking while Mari hears the voice from her dream. - We see (from the perspective of a stalker) Mari exploring the store until she happens upon the earrings. They light up in her eyes (Heroic music plays) then it’s subverted by Aliya calling Mari to go. - The teens leave and head to Mari’s house. - The creeper reveals himself to be the shop girl’s grandfather (a kinder, older, Gabe-like figure). - Shop girl asks “Was that her?” Grandmaster slowly nods. She responds with “Then it’s only a matter of time.” - We fade to Adrien returning home and Gabe meeting him to debrief. Gabe asks him if he felt anything and Adrien shakes his head. Gabe expresses his disappointment in the failed mission and his son, stating he expects exceptional as he is exceptional then promptly dismisses Adri. - Adrien tosses his bag on his bed and punches the wall “I’ll be the greatest, even better than you.” - Natalie gets up from his desk and chuckles “We’ll see.” before tossing him a fencing sword. They duke it out and we get a bit of exposition on Adrien’s current family situation and true feelings towards his dad. - Suddenly, a white light shoots by the enormous window stopping the duel. They both stare at it. - Aliya and Mari are up on the balcony giggling when they spot it too. - The strange star keeps going until it strikes the top of the Eiffel Tower and explodes light across the sky. - From it, we hear Hawkmoth cackling and he gives an introduction of himself. - We get shots of all the key players (characters) as he does this and he ends with a threat. - Suddenly we see two ninja figures appear from smoke (you know, like you do) and they make the light disappear. One plans the flute (Fox Miraculous) and a battle ensues. - Aliya and Mari run for cover when Mari notices the earrings from the shop on her dresser. - Aliya rushes downstairs to Mari’s Parents when suddenly there’s a flash of red. - They all rush up, the room is destroyed and they fear the worst.
There are some Chloe stans but most people leaving aren't leaving due to Chloe. The fandom, aside from some diehard fans, don't actually give a shit. Most fans are leaving due to the terrible narrative structure, pacing, and writing quality as a whole.

Chloe was handled badly along many other aspects of the show. So many issues, bad story telling, bad/lack of character development, broken promises, stupid ideas, etc.
Not something from show to film but just how the show airs it’s episodes by giving Disney the rights to air it because Disney won’t do so much crap like airing the episodes out of order for the most part not saying Disney would just air a few episodes but only do that when they are ready so Disney will have no rights to how the show works just how it’s released on tv channels unlike gloob which will just do so much crap like releasing the episodes out of nowhere and stuff like that.
Personally I wouldn't mind an anime adaption of the series as a whole, happened with other Disney cartoons before so I could see it. Now what about the spots, well for one thing they wouldn't really NEED to be consistent since it's magical. Or pull a thing with a spotted background with just a psuedo greenscreen for her costume where the dots would essentially stay in place while she moves. Giving the illusion of them moving. Either that or redesign her costume be be less spotty. With the anime following the original plot with Mr. Sphinx instead.
I have really high expectations from this movie This movie series can bring the true potential of miraculous and also they don't need to do everything like the alliance and stuff that can be unique to the show but yeah i hope this movie gets hit
I think not everything Marrinette does is creepy when it comes to her "stalker tensencies - for example, the computer background or pictures on the wall. However, it's not a good look to have a bunch of minor things like that stacked on top of each other. On top of that, there's just way too many pics of Adrien in her room.
The show I think was originally called miraculous the tales of lady bug and cat noir. It is supposed to be the two of them right?, with equal screen time and importance in the story right? Cat noir was chosen at the same time as lady bug right?
For some reason Disney plus doesn’t have all the episodes for the show in Australia, so I’ve only seen up to intuition BUT even so the movie just dropped & is DEFINITELY worth the watch, as a fan I loved it.

Movie reboot the series make it better, but on another not avoid the non-miraculous hero's that really muddied the waters of the francise in my mind, don't get me wrong I liked the robot girl and the not batman, robin, or superman heroes it just feels like they came out of nowhere and there powers were not magic jewel based thus raising a tone of questions about the world that has yet to be answered

I love the TV show almost perfectly there's a few things that I think is just like they're tripping through themselves but you're also expecting kids to be superheroes not knowing who the enemies are is a very big deal if she knew that cat noir was who he was in like the back of her mind like because the kwami's know who it is and when she's powered up the kwami can help her by choice not make a bad decision cuz their personalities change cat noir is definitely a flirt so since they're being altered you would think that they'd have the ability to make smarter decisions and the whole show can be fixed there's miraculous waiting to be throwing up that could fix it all could even save Gabriel there is a way to save the mom the wife you know Miss is a grass there is a way to save the mom the wife you know Miss is a grass only have to do is show a ladybug previously borrow the powers for a day which would explain why it never went on TV but the miraculous she had has never been used and it turns out that adrien's mother was killed by miraculous that was trying to protect somebody from the fact it's damaged miraculous could save his mother and more
Unpopular opinion, I hope that Zoe will be in the movie and also some little hints towards her liking Marientte~ Zoe's conffesion was the best part of the whole season 5 to me, I hope it gets hinted a little bit; Cause you know they don't have to fully introduce Zoe in the first film, but giving her some of these small little scenes will do her charecter so much good, her charecter will be so much more likable~
Actually the best part of season 5 was anytime Rose, Jule or Markov were on screen 🤓 I agree though, as long as Chloé is wrll written, I won't mind seeing Zoé in the movie

Honestly the writers and creators decided to reboot/ retail miraculous ladybug and cat noir with better animation and better storytelling than I think the movie would be a great example of how to do it at least animation wise I never saw the movie to give my opinion on the story 🤷🏾♂️
Either get rid of the will they won't they because we have the show for that, if they will have it in the movie they should A) resolve it or B) subvert it
They have the rabbit miraculous to go back in time and prevent ladybug from giving Felix the dog miraculous.....or even better find out whom did he give all the miraculous....or at least tell kagami to ask felix 😅😅

It hasn't been confirmed that he's the only writer or director (most films have many of them), and the same applies to the show, which has four writers and five directors who work on every episode. Furthermore, he's the show's main producer, so if he didn't like something or someone, he could just make everything like how he wanted it to be. And the four shows he created and produced between the show's premiere and now don't seem to be successful and liked. He's also credited for the story of Santa Claws, the Christmas special, and I don't think I should expand on that. I'm not against criticising the show or Astruc, but this really doesn't make any sense.
I really hope they give Adrien proper screentime and development. That's all I need for the first film--and a less hypocritical Marinette/Ladybug.

I agree. If they’re suppose to be yin and yang, and balance each other out; then shouldn’t they BOTH be leaders? It could be an opportunity for them to explore how they complement each other and learn how to work together despite their differences. Instead of putting unrealistic expectations on a literal teenage girl and pushing the boy aside, which is unfair to both of them, make them work together as equals. Make it fair for both characters. And all without the cringe and creep factors.
@@ashebennett7726 It's weird; Adrien is technically much more intelligent and cultured due to his education, so being a leader could help him to better socialize and gain confidence. Plus it's weird that the cat miraculous is hyped up as the only equal to Ladybug, but then they go the "your power is too dangerous" route so he often gets sidelined. And I hate how there's no growth as heroes; Adrien is still a goofy, ladybug-obsessed jokester as CN, and Marinette can still be hypocritical and biased as LB. Chloe was making more progress as QB.
One thing that i genuinely, really hoped for, is that if the movie is a huge success, we as the fandom should demand a reboot of the show, without Thomas and any of the current writers influence. As of now, its obvious the show is floating on a driftwood

In this film, I'm really praying for Marinette to go about her feelings for Adrien in a healthy way and not being obsessive. I hope Adrien isn't blind to his feelings for most of the film's runtime, I hope they don't waste unnecessary time on Chloe. Establish her as the bad guy then let it be! I also don't want to see any irreverent side characters. We just need to focus on the core 4 (Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Nino) and the big baddies.
They could always save Chloe as a villain in another movie.
Part of me worries that if the film depicts their relationship and Marinette's crush in a healthy, positive way, fans will conflate it with the tv show and overlook her negative actions when viewing the series.

A good thing they could do for Gabe's character is that he initally ask for the Miraculous peacefully, explaining he wants to use it to save a dead/dying(?) person and will give them back afterwards. With Marinett and Adrian having to refuse because using the wish is simply too dangerous, making Gabe flip and start his villain conquest.
But that doesn't happen in the origins maybe master fu or someother guardian will do.

I honestly hope they have Adrien and Marinette fall in love in the first movie itself and focus on more interesting plot points like Gabe's backstory or Marinette adjusting to her role as Ladybug. They can start out with the love square, but over the course of the movie, Adrien falls for Marinette, and Marinette gains more confidence, and the two finally get together. You can have awkward moments, but nothing too cringe, and it shouldn't take up too much runtime. And definitely no stalker or creepy behavior from both Marinette or Cat Noir. I do wish Gabriel is written better, and side characters are strong.

Well, there is a lot of filler and the character development is slow in the show so the movie can just use all the important parts and leave out the parts that aren't. I don't think there's a lot that they will be sacrificing in the movie
Season 1 is largely focused on concept and setting the scene rather than character development, so the film can draw on that and still have its own vision.
I hope in this alternative take we can keep a Chloe redemption or at the very least keep her as the bee holder in any future sequels because Zoe is not it. She's pretty insignificant as a character and makes no sense in context either (as if we're supposed to believe Audrey would even have another kid). Plus Queen Bee has a way better outfit than Vespiria.
Also please don't make Marinette a creepy stalker who acts awfully towards any girl who so much as glances in Adrian's direction, it is one of the traits I really dislike about her tbh.

I dropped the show after season 3. I used to be one of those people who liked Chloe for the fact she could have developed as a character but, also out of spite cause the creator acted like she was the spawn of satan herself. That she can't be redemed.
And yes it makes sense that it could have happen either way but, I think the execution with how they built it up wasn't that good.
Like i feel like the development that they gave us made it more focus on the chance she could be good.
I generally think they should have been an inbetween with seeing her still having doubts or feeling like she can't change.
Maybe have Lila actual interact with her early making the insecurities worse slowly chipping her loyalty to ladybug away instead of just one or two episodes of her being mad she ain't get picked.
And if they still choose to use the excuse "that sense hawkmoth knows your identity you can't be queen bee again." for the reason they didn’t choose her anymore it should have applied to the others to sense Hawkmoth knows all their identities to.
Yet she only stopped with Chloe because of that and it's almost never brought up again. Like if their use that excuse make it a plot point whether it develops her to become an ally and understand the reason or to drive her over the edge.
Like they could have had Lila being friends or friendly to her. Bringing her to spots where akumas are and mentioning how Ladybug didn't choose her to help.
Maybe Chat and Ladybug end up talking about it and that the others are still miraculous users why isn't she if their identities are known to? Maybe Chloe would have heard out of context Ladybug saying she doesn't trust her or think she's worthy maybe she'd say that cause she's stressed cause she just became the master and doesn't truely mean it cause she's letting her personally feelings getting involved in her decision.
But in the end this could have push Chloe to the betrayal and still make us not like her but, also understand her. I'm generally convinced the writers had something planned but the creator said no. Not saying Chloe deserved redemption or does now just saying the execution for her whole arc sucks.

I’ve been a long time watcher of this show and I’ve found FanFictions that work better than a lot of what goes on in the show. They need to find a satisfying conclusion to the story before their audience completely ages out….. I started watching when I was 21 and I’m almost freaking 30 YEARS OLD and they haven’t gotten hardly anywhere.

I feel like the movie would be better if the main focus of it would be Marinette and Adrien, their character growths as equals not only Marinette in focus. Having both of them get into a relationship or fall in love at the end of the movie. I also think scraping Hawkmoth as a villain would be nice, for the majority of the show he has been nothing but a joke, if we only see the akumatized villains in the first film as major villains and set Gabriel up for the second film diving more into his past, his character growth, his relationship with Adrien deteriorating as he get more and more obsessive over the miraculouses and Adrien gaining more freedom and confidence as he finds his way out of Gabriel's manupilation and finally starts a relationship with Marinette. I feel like the first film should follow Marinette and Adrien as individuals so we get to know more about them, the show fails this really miserably making their character arcs only about liking each other.
The show is spaced more slowly I think because it’s made for kids even though older people like myself (34) still watch the show as a series I love it.
Will I watch the movie? Probably

I love how different Ladybug seems to be in the movies. I just finished my rewatching of season 1 and Ladybug was so serious and sometimes annoyed by Chat Noir's jokes and flits. She seems more playful and fun in the movie.

Honestly with Lila being the new monarch in season 6, I’m not as excited as I was for season 4 and 5, or any of the seasons bellow it. I’m an og fan and always loved miraculous, but honestly when it’s coming to season 6 I just sigh. I new this was probably going to happen, but I don’t want Thomas Astruc to stretch the tv show out so much to the point where it just snaps and looses it’s full meaning. Every single time we see ladybug and chat noir defeat monarch, blah blah blah every episode and the fans are getting tired. Miraculous ladybug content isn’t very relevant here on TH-cam, and whenever I try to search up something miraculous related I see a bunch of stuff posted like 5 months ago or even a year, and when I go to check the channel pages their most recent is months ago. I really hope that Thomas can redeem the show. The only thing interesting in the show is the Adrinette content and other stuff not related to monarch or ladybug and chat noir. I mean, don’t get me wrong I loved the show in the first 5 seasons, but as it slowly progressed I just got really bored. My stomach doesn’t turn when there’s a big plot twist, and I’m honestly not excited for season 6. This is just my opinion, and you don’t have to agree with it so no hate.
I can't stand Lila so much that will not watch her in any episodes she appears....glad I gave up on this series.

I'm a bit worried that this movie might be making similar mistakes that 'The Last Airbender' did. Primarily, taking 12 hours of content and trying to cram it into 2 hours of movie. Dune, which was adapted from a novel, also had similar problems.
The big difference with this show and Avatar is that Avatar is very plot heavy and Miraculous is very, very plot lite.
@@DragonKingX78 I get that, but let's consider the scale of the problem. 5 seasons at 25 episodes per season at 20 minutes per episode, that's a total of 25x20x5=2500 minutes. If you can legitimately fit over 40 hours of show into 2 hours of movie, that's extremely depressing for the show.

Longtime victim of the show sounds about the perfect way to describe why I still watch it 🤣 i need to see it end. My 15 year old self has been strung along on and off with this show 5ever.
The thing is it feels long a tedious because it’s not exactly like an animie if u look at my hero academia it’s been 5 season’s roughly for 1 school year but it moves at a great pace u see all sides of the characters but in miraculous they move slowly in the same school year I feel I know more about Felix than the rest of the characters his growth has been fast
i find it fascinating that felix and chloe the characters that receive the most development are the characters that thomas wanted us to hate

At least making the pacing faster for a few plot points that were in the earlier seasons. Like most episodes that occur then not advance the plot forward whatsoever, so reasonable cuts can be made so the timeframe is smaller and plot points are set up, explored, and resolved in a timely manner. That’s at bare minimum what I look forward to from the movie, as strange as it sounds because it will simply be refreshing as an early fan being subjected to the first three seasons.

I would LOVE to see the Nathaniel x Marc ship. Not like super big or anything and taking up screen time, but just in the background have them be holding hands or something. Or maybe have Marinette make freinds with one of them, indruces them to the other, they say "hi" at teh same time in an awkward but cute way, and then the screen switches to Adrien and he says "Marinette is so special" or something. idk. I think that could give Adrein some development in realizing his feeling for Marinette - Realizing she's a good, kind person.
I also NEED some of the past ladybug (and maybe cat noir holders) in the movie. It's such a good plot point I think. I'm 80% positive it's gonna be included baacuse if you watch the suptitiles of the Netflix trailer, it says something like "Woman: You must face your fears to protect the ones you love" and the woman is unidentified. My intial thought was that was a past ladybug miraculous holder giving marinette advice in Marinette's song thing. I think that scene is literally called "A mission for Marinette" so that makes the most sense in my mind.

I think miraculous is either considered a kids show too much or considered a failure too much for the movie to do too well. It will either be super simplified to be a true kids movie or people will find something to hate and it’ll bomb. I don’t think a sequel movie is in the cards for this franchise, but maybe a spin-off set in the future when Marinette is a master-fu like character to a new set of heroes. Adrien would probably be a lost love or dead or something.
Or maybe the spin-off would be adult marinette/adrien? Their kids? Or like a mini show like they did with Zootopia+ on Disney+?

Maybe it's just me but I waited for years like my entire childhood for them to get together like they were the one that made the most sense and I just love them
If I wrote the plot it would look like this:
Act One
- We start off with a star, zoom out to galaxies.
- Tikki’s voice narrates explaining what Miraculous are and we see various holders throughout the centuries.
- She then speaks of great evil, we cut to a Tibetan temple and three explorers ( younger Gabe, Emilie and Natalie) running away with two Miraculous while being chased.
- Shenanigans happen, the Temple is beginning to burn.
- The original guardian is seen pushing the Miraculous box into an Asian styled knapsack and ninja mode escapes while the Temple is being ransacked.
- Tikki continues to narrate some philosophical stuff about heroism and in we see a human-like hand reach out to us, Marinette reaches for it asking “who are you?”
- Her mom wakes her up for school and we get a snapshot of her normal life.
- At school, we meet Chloe who times Marinette’s late arrival with a prank (establishing her as resident mean girl). Chloe laughs off her prank and prepares herself to greet Adrien.
- Outside, cameras swarm as the model Adrien Agreste prepares to exit his father’s car. Beside him, Gabe reminds him of the deal they made and Adrien solemnly nods.
- Chloe, being on the Student Council, organizes for students to usher Adrien to his class.
- The whole school is a-buzz as he walks through the halls.
- Marinette exits the bathroom finally clean from Chloe’s prank and as she opens the door, it hits Adrien right in the face. Everyone gasps.
- Nino, who was personally assigned to Adrien, comes to his aid, Marinette gets awkward being the center of attention once again.
- When she realizes who he is, she apologizes profusely and offers him her handkerchief with her initials.
- She flees the scene in embarrassment while Adrien looks at her questioning. He looks down and spots one of her designs with his face.
- Marinette takes refuge in the art room where she stumbles into Aliyah. Mari bursts into tears, after trying not to cry, Aliyah comforts her (they don’t know each other yet. At this point they’re strangers)
- Aliyah introduces herself and Marinette does the same
- They head to home room as the teacher is taking the roll and hurriedly find available seats.
- When Mari sees Adrien seated by Chloe, she is initially shocked then angered (basically like season 1).
- The day goes by quickly (we zoom to the window where morning has turned to afternoon.
- As the children exit the school, Mari excitedly talks to Aliya notices and ignores Adri and turns to go in the opposite direction with Aliya.
- The pair of girls walk the streets doing girly teenaged stuff and happen upon an oriental store. Mari feels drawn and enters.
-We see a shadow figure in the distance laughing menacingly, claiming “Ah, the city of love… Can’t wait to meet you.”
- Inside the shop we meet an young woman a few years older than Mari. She senses her energy and awe and starts talking about the various things. Aliya is more interested in the mythical stuff.
- Aliya and Shop Girl are talking while Mari hears the voice from her dream.
- We see (from the perspective of a stalker) Mari exploring the store until she happens upon the earrings. They light up in her eyes (Heroic music plays) then it’s subverted by Aliya calling Mari to go.
- The teens leave and head to Mari’s house.
- The creeper reveals himself to be the shop girl’s grandfather (a kinder, older, Gabe-like figure).
- Shop girl asks “Was that her?” Grandmaster slowly nods. She responds with “Then it’s only a matter of time.”
- We fade to Adrien returning home and Gabe meeting him to debrief. Gabe asks him if he felt anything and Adrien shakes his head. Gabe expresses his disappointment in the failed mission and his son, stating he expects exceptional as he is exceptional then promptly dismisses Adri.
- Adrien tosses his bag on his bed and punches the wall “I’ll be the greatest, even better than you.”
- Natalie gets up from his desk and chuckles “We’ll see.” before tossing him a fencing sword. They duke it out and we get a bit of exposition on Adrien’s current family situation and true feelings towards his dad.
- Suddenly, a white light shoots by the enormous window stopping the duel. They both stare at it.
- Aliya and Mari are up on the balcony giggling when they spot it too.
- The strange star keeps going until it strikes the top of the Eiffel Tower and explodes light across the sky.
- From it, we hear Hawkmoth cackling and he gives an introduction of himself.
- We get shots of all the key players (characters) as he does this and he ends with a threat.
- Suddenly we see two ninja figures appear from smoke (you know, like you do) and they make the light disappear. One plans the flute (Fox Miraculous) and a battle ensues.
- Aliya and Mari run for cover when Mari notices the earrings from the shop on her dresser.
- Aliya rushes downstairs to Mari’s Parents when suddenly there’s a flash of red.
- They all rush up, the room is destroyed and they fear the worst.
The show is burning out due to the bad writing and doing Chloe dirty
There are some Chloe stans but most people leaving aren't leaving due to Chloe. The fandom, aside from some diehard fans, don't actually give a shit. Most fans are leaving due to the terrible narrative structure, pacing, and writing quality as a whole.

@@_MyNameIsAJ_ IT IS! As far as writing goes, S5 is the best! Unfortunately, the writing still isn't perfect. Far from it. And it took 7 years to reach the point of decent writing so a lot of fans were just over it.
Chloe was handled badly along many other aspects of the show. So many issues, bad story telling, bad/lack of character development, broken promises, stupid ideas, etc.
Not something from show to film but just how the show airs it’s episodes by giving Disney the rights to air it because Disney won’t do so much crap like airing the episodes out of order for the most part not saying Disney would just air a few episodes but only do that when they are ready so Disney will have no rights to how the show works just how it’s released on tv channels unlike gloob which will just do so much crap like releasing the episodes out of nowhere and stuff like that.

Personally I wouldn't mind an anime adaption of the series as a whole, happened with other Disney cartoons before so I could see it.
Now what about the spots, well for one thing they wouldn't really NEED to be consistent since it's magical.
Or pull a thing with a spotted background with just a psuedo greenscreen for her costume where the dots would essentially stay in place while she moves. Giving the illusion of them moving.
Either that or redesign her costume be be less spotty.
With the anime following the original plot with Mr. Sphinx instead.
I have really high expectations from this movie
This movie series can bring the true potential of miraculous and also they don't need to do everything like the alliance and stuff that can be unique to the show but yeah i hope this movie gets hit
I think not everything Marrinette does is creepy when it comes to her "stalker tensencies - for example, the computer background or pictures on the wall. However, it's not a good look to have a bunch of minor things like that stacked on top of each other. On top of that, there's just way too many pics of Adrien in her room.
They only things I'm worried about is Mayura and the whole sentimonster thing and Adrien
The show I think was originally called miraculous the tales of lady bug and cat noir. It is supposed to be the two of them right?, with equal screen time and importance in the story right? Cat noir was chosen at the same time as lady bug right?
I like how the movie has the voice actors from the show too, and they sound better somehow?

For some reason Disney plus doesn’t have all the episodes for the show in Australia, so I’ve only seen up to intuition BUT even so the movie just dropped & is DEFINITELY worth the watch, as a fan I loved it.

Honestly.... I HOPE this movie is not just a summary of what happened throughout all of these seasons. I'd rather it be something different, because if there's ANY reason why this show is declining in its popularity (well, likeableness) , it's certainly because of the storyline. There are SO many things that happened in the show that, in my opinion, shouldn't have happened. Like you said, they should just focus on the things that actually matter rather than repeating the same mistakes the show did. That's what I'm hoping for, to say the least. 🤷🏾♀️😂
I'm in a group on Facebook that use to be really busy with miraculous but it's died down so much seems the fan base for the show is nearly dead die to the story dragging so much

Movie reboot the series make it better, but on another not avoid the non-miraculous hero's that really muddied the waters of the francise in my mind, don't get me wrong I liked the robot girl and the not batman, robin, or superman heroes it just feels like they came out of nowhere and there powers were not magic jewel based thus raising a tone of questions about the world that has yet to be answered

I love the TV show almost perfectly there's a few things that I think is just like they're tripping through themselves but you're also expecting kids to be superheroes not knowing who the enemies are is a very big deal if she knew that cat noir was who he was in like the back of her mind like because the kwami's know who it is and when she's powered up the kwami can help her by choice not make a bad decision cuz their personalities change cat noir is definitely a flirt so since they're being altered you would think that they'd have the ability to make smarter decisions and the whole show can be fixed there's miraculous waiting to be throwing up that could fix it all could even save Gabriel there is a way to save the mom the wife you know Miss is a grass there is a way to save the mom the wife you know Miss is a grass only have to do is show a ladybug previously borrow the powers for a day which would explain why it never went on TV but the miraculous she had has never been used and it turns out that adrien's mother was killed by miraculous that was trying to protect somebody from the fact it's damaged miraculous could save his mother and more

Zoe's conffesion was the best part of the whole season 5 to me,
I hope it gets hinted a little bit;
Cause you know they don't have to fully introduce Zoe in the first film, but giving her some of these small little scenes will do her charecter so much good, her charecter will be so much more likable~
Actually the best part of season 5 was anytime Rose, Jule or Markov were on screen 🤓

It hasn't been confirmed that he's the only writer or director (most films have many of them), and the same applies to the show, which has four writers and five directors who work on every episode. Furthermore, he's the show's main producer, so if he didn't like something or someone, he could just make everything like how he wanted it to be. And the four shows he created and produced between the show's premiere and now don't seem to be successful and liked. He's also credited for the story of Santa Claws, the Christmas special, and I don't think I should expand on that. I'm not against criticising the show or Astruc, but this really doesn't make any sense.
