@26:59 .. it resonated with me.. I while trying to do my M.Phil Criminology thesis actually experienced the real horrendous side of our educational system. My Supervisor continuously discouraged me to drop the topic of my thesis saying that "IT WAS ORIGINAL" and after i somehow convinced him being respectfully resillient to him when the stage of thesis came I WAS ASKED TO PAY THE PIPER 2.5 LACS and consequently i had to drop my whole M.Phil program cause of the reason i couldn't live with the fact that i after doing all the hard work and coming up with ORIGINAL IDEA on thesis in a field i felt i could chip in future I HAD TO ACTUALLY PAY BRIBE to the very person who is supposed to be my TEACHER.
unfortunately 1 day ago and this video is not trending in PAKISTAN ...... this is the downfall where peoples are not awakening that education is going to worse !!!!!!

The day we start prioritizing education in Mathematics, science, logic, and critical thinking, we will become one of the great nations of the world. The day we stop passing off religious dogma as absolute truth will also be a day we will become one of the great nations of earth.
Being a mechanical engineering student in the uk and an ex teacher for O levels students, learning tables and these basic things allows the student be more efficient when doing there papers otherwise, ofcourse you have calculators and you also can approach the problems critically in your own heads.
In the UK each university course has an employability score, based on what percentage of graduates found employment within 6 months of completing a course. In Pakistan we need a similar score for our university degrees. Ultimately most people who go to university go to learn knowledge that will make them employable (other than humanities and arts students). If you're study computer science and you come out not being able to code - was that degree of any value to you? I don't think so. It may be the case that in our society there are not enough jobs for certain degrees, for example we dont fund scientific research let alone historians, or artists - but then we need to consider what weighting our degrees carry in markets that do have these sorts of job roles. Of course employability should not be the only measure of value for a degree course, but it has to be a signficant measure for anyone who isn't a member of the social elite.

I always see this Norm being Degree VS Skill misrepresented, I had hoped that Junaid bhai won't make the same mistake. in reality I think Degree VS Skill was never about are Degree's useless. its about do you have the time to wait, shift your focus or completely focus on your degree without working on a Skill. Plus the cost factor since not all students get scholarships. it has been given a different color of what it should be. the real question that I should ask myself is that do I need to become self independent or does my family need support right now. or can my family afford to add credentials to my CV. honestly speaking credentials amm okay but I wounldn't say that. for immigration there are other ways that you can apply but still not a big deal as the whole ideology itself is misplaced and misrepresented. hopefully I didn't offend anyone, if I did apologises
