My aunt Joy ( / thejoyfulartist ) was my complete and total inspiration for this project. She has made some of the most beautiful Cyanotype pieces and I wanted tot take a crack at it.
But all of the steps, and all of the pressed flowers and all of the details that are normally a part of it were overwhelming to me. So I came up with an amazing HACK using my Cricut.
We are going to cut pressed flowers silhouettes (and other fun shapes) out of Cricut Sticker Cardstock!
This will be an all in one solution for creating our pattern, and keeping it in place without the need for a glass or plastic piece to hold it in place.
You can create any pattern you want by cutting it out and placing on top of your clothes before you develop.
I will include the step by step process in tremendous detail so let me know if you have any questions!

I would love to take your course but I can't afford it. Can you release a mini-course that's more budget-friendly? I appreciate everything you do. Being a mom and businesswoman is a lot and stressful. It sets a great example for your children. I know. My husband and I have four(his, mine, and ours). They witnessed what we went through and it set an example that I am proud to say works for our blended family.
I've put it in my Christmas list. "Gift cards to pay for on-line classes". 😁
Congrats on a thriving blended family! I truly believe that such families are our hope for the future. “It takes a village” as they say, and you are creating your own mini village. :D So many important skills to learn in navigating, negotiating, planning, and working together!

@@DawnDavidson All of my children are adults and married. Two out of four have kids. I didn't mention that my bonus children’s mom and granny are included in the blended family. All of the kids told us it made getting together much easier and less stressful. They knew we would not be asking intrusive questions or talking about one another. It was a culture shock for the spouses who were first introduced but after an hour they got it. We were adults/parents who loved our kids.

Wow! Very cool! I actually loved the jeans with the ☮️ signs and ⚡️bolts and the jumpsuit was possibly my favorite, so chic and stylish. Rolling down the hem and having the white exposed looked so cool.

Such a great tip! So many of us don’t have either money or space for owning a tool like that. I would be all over this as a Girl Scout project though, if I still led a troop. What a fun process this would be at a summer camp, too!

You can print out stencils and use something to temporary glue it down or buy stencil templates and trace it on sticker paper. Check out your craft stores for sticker paper ❤❤❤ Good luck

I watch all of your videos! You always have such unique and beautiful ideas! But, I have to say, this one is my favorites! Where you ever got the idea to use cyanotype on clothing is beyond me; but I’m so glad you had it! I will definitely be trying this.

I love all of them, Orly! I used to do sunprinting with my daughters, and it was fun. But this is really next level wearable art. I love the jumpsuit. The variations give it great character. And the 2 piece set is to die for! (or maybe “to dye for”?? 😂). They are all wonderful, and it’s an amazing hack that works so well. These garments would be hundreds or thousands of dollars each if you could buy/sell them in a boutique. Just stunning, honestly.

IT really is so amazing! But you could probably do this with store bought stickers too! Not nearly as custom to your style but it will still be a cool way of trying it out .

I do quite a lot of Cricut DIY's so for those who own a Cricut and are looking for more ideas on how to use it, this is great because they already have it. And for those who don't, they can use their creativity top think of other ways. Store bought stickers, Hand cut out stickers, etc.
