Good video, just to add , it should be held for 2 minutes as it enters a learning function. You’ll know when it has completed as the card lining panel will close more or less to half way.

2015 worked like a charm just make sure you start the car and completely cycle it. I made the mistake once before of not letting it fully cycle and it would only go back and forth no auto or tilt.

Thanks for the video. This technique had worked for me before, many years ago, but I forgot about it. In addition, keeping the car running seemed to make a difference. I can't tell you why. Just that it worked. Cheers. BTW, mine's a '99 E39.

Excellent. My sunroof on f10 525d was not tilting but would slide. So with the engine running I pressed and held the button in for approx 15 seconds when suddenly the sunroof started sliding and then tilted and closed. Brilliant!

It should sit a mm higher than the rear roof after reset. Yours needs bracket mount adjustment.
