I absolutely love the picture "The girl with the Pearl earring" I have the very same picture in my bedroom as well My mother was an artist and she painted it for me before she died. She did a fabulous copy in oil and I cherish it. I loved seeing that picture on your wall Your room looks so nice. It looks so French and I don't use cheap paint either. I've tried using the paint from the big box hardware stores and it is awful. You have to paint coat after coat when the better grade paint cuts your work time in half. Thank you for sharing. I wish your husband had his DIY channel in English.

In the settings of the video you can set the language to the language of your preference and then activate the subtitles (CC). The translation is not always perfect, but it works well enough to get a good idea of what the video is about.

Also a product called TSP that works when you are cleaning. It will help to remove the buildup. You did a really lovely job on all your projects. To me this shows us what we can do with Elbow grease, shopping in our own home and little money to improve our situation. Your garden and flower flower and landscape shots are so beautiful I was wondering if ai might use them for inspiration for some watercolor and pastel sketches.

Use chalk paint, and the wood shouldn't need to be sanded down first. I never sand down furniture before i paint it. I have a similar wardrobe i am about to paint.

When the sanding disks don't stick to the pad of the sander, it's because the velcro has worn out. There are replacement 'velcro stickers' available to put on the pad, so you can again stick on the sanding paper. That solution might not last for long though. Thanks for your comment! I used brand new ones at each time and it still wore out extremely quickly. I think it was the brand because other ones didn’t get off that easily. But I will surely remember this if I ever do this again and it happens again…
