Y los churros? lol...using sweetened condensed milk as part of the milk will dissolve better than sugar...try some cream cheese or shredded coconut in there..mmm OH..don't overbeat the flan..u don't want bubbles..totally changes the texture..less creamy.

I just found out through this video that the "leche flan" which is a famous dessert in the Philippines originated in Spain. The procedure and ingredients are the same. Except that we don't add lemon juice but only lemon zest to the flan. I said originated because Philippines was colonized by Spain for 300 years.
In the US, we call it French toast and serve it for breakfast and it's incredibly common -- one of the first recipes you teach a child to make as it's simple and fun to make. I use sweetened condensed milk and canned milk to make my flan. I also only melt the sugar for the caramel. Otherwise it’s the same. And oh so good!

Use a cooking pot, put your flan in. Cover It half water and keep It boiling till It get ready. Medium Heat.
