Here is an issue with the new card visual. I used it to show the sales for the selected year from the year slicer and the reference label to show the previous year sales. When I selected the earliest year from the year slicer, the reference label was supposed to show blank for the previous sales. But it did not. :(
a quick question, for the calendar table in the starting point PBIX file, it needs a link to \whopkins\OneDrive - WynMVP\02 Synergy Solar Panel and EV Data\HalfHourlyMeterData Jan 25 2022 to Jan 25 2024.csv'. Where I can get that file? Thanks.
My arrows stopped working when the report was published online, well they disappeared. Only two - - with the correct conditional formatting color. Any thoughts about why?
To avoid that horrible conditional formatting interface, I use a measure that returns a color hex code based on the numeric measure's value and select Field value and that measure in the UI.
Multiple links in the desctription section including a link to the demo file url.pbi.guide/EnergyReport

There’s a few fixes coming out in February release. Let me know if the issue persists

It’s in the download folder and called Half Hourly Meter data.csv

This was a bug. If you have the February version of Power BI desktop I was told the bug would be fixed.
Unfortunately, my first experience of the new slicer, I came across a bug where the sync slicer wasn't working.
Is it not syncing with “normal” slicers? I think that’s a known bug that they are fixing. I don’t have an ETA

Good call, maybe a future video 😀
This is great, thanks for sharing. I can see this being useful to elementary teachers showing kids' progression through the year.
You’re welcome
I love the Variance Indicator measure. I'll be using that on Monday!
Great!
Many thanks for it. Is there any way you might create a video or videos to start from scratch and construct this kind of report?
Check out this video th-cam.com/video/2rw133X6zjY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bOWQdHES6_MHlcDb coupled with the one here should be a good start.
the problem here is, if you publish it in pbi service there having errors
The reference label bug will be fixed in the February update
