  • In this video I show how to make your airsoft sniper really quiet using a Stalker Scorpion piston and suppressor! I really like how quiet it makes my tac 41!

    I have an idea for a piston: the piston made of 3 pieces together with an aluminum mid body, with a steel end, but!, the front part, the head made of steel, that should be the heavyest part to charge the whole weight forward

    Have you been able to compare the sound on this piston vs the wasp ?

    How do you go about optimising piston weight? I’m firing 0.48g through a 430mm Crazy Jet barrel on VSR. I currently have heavy head and rest of piston light rings. Do you think this is optimal? I’m not interested in joule creep, just most consistent performance to get 2.3J on 0.48g

      You really have to play with it. As long as your getting consistent fps your good. I like middle weight!

    Hello from France
    Great video
    Many thanks
    I want to try glow in the dark with a tracer silencer( only for training of course) but what kind of projectiles in hight weight can i buy ?
    Thanks

      6mm airsoft bbs. The weight of the bbs depends on how powerful your airsoft gun is. I like .32 to .48 gram bbs

    How do you know that the piston actually makes a difference? Did you compare with an air braked stock piston? Now you need a stronger spring to compensate for the FPS loss, how do you know that won't bring the noise back up?

    • @airsoftconnor
      @airsoftconnor  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it would be helpful if you researched weighted pistons on sniper forms. The weighted piston made my sniper shoot farther than the stock piston (with the fps drop). Air breaks on the stock piston will make it more quiet but you will lose more joules. The weight brings up the joules. And example would be hitting a ball with something light like a pvc pipe vs a baseball bat. You’ll have to use more power to hit the ball further with the lighter object. It doesn’t get much louder with the bigger spring.

    Can the performance of the TAC41 be comparable to the high-end VSR10 full-tuning? Or is it possible to perform even more?

    • @airsoftconnor
      @airsoftconnor  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The vsr has so many upgrade parts and there is so much information on tuning, id say a full built vsr is way better than the stock tac41. But the tac 41 has most of the main upgrades that people want already like the tdc and adjustable trigger. With just a spring and a piston upgrade id say its pretty comparable to a built vsr.
      Because this is a Silverback product I expect better upgrade parts to come out that will make this a better performer than the vsr platform. Ive played with a lot of snipers and this is the fist one I enjoyed playing with

      @@airsoftconnor Which is more accurate for 6.01 PDI barrels and 6.08 PDI barrels? The distance of the target is 50-70M. What size will you choose?

    • @airsoftconnor
      @airsoftconnor  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tighter bore barrels need to be kept clean, i think 6.08 is a bit too big 6.03-6.05 seems to be the sweet spot

    Any idea how i can push my tac 41 to 500fps? (What kind of spring do i need and can i make it even more accurate?)

    • @airsoftconnor
      @airsoftconnor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Get a srs m160 spring for 500 fps (with the stock barrel and piston). Clean the barrel and get a 70-80 degree bucking.
