I mean yes, a wasp or scorpion piston is a good upgrade.. but you literally cant shoot your ssg INSIDE and DRY FIRE. Both those things make it so much louder.
Bad info here bud, dry firing a rifle will always be louder than shooting a loaded rifle. No comment of joule rating either knowing that your from a 1 joule country it’s so easy to get a quiet rifle, at 2.3j not so easy. Misleading video
Your actually very wrong here 1 joule is harder to make quite beacuse an air break won't create as big an air cousin as it does with faster larger springs. This is because the same volume of air can escape out of the nozzle faster with a 1 jouke setup where it can't when that air is accelerated faster by a larger spring meaning 2 joules creates a larger air cousin because the air volume ans nozzle don't change. Your assumption is totally wrong. I'd also like to point out that his tests here are done with a 2 joule setup any you can't hear anything except the bb cutting though the air. Your knowledge of the physics is the only thing that is misleading I am afraid. This set up works for 1.5 joukes and up. For 1 joule different parts will be developed to get that working with the same effect.
I cant shoot a live round in the studio. Yes it's a given that an empty rifle is louder. Everyone knows that. Do I need to highlight that? I don't think so as most of my video is for airsofter snipers that would know this. If you were to actually watch the video I do comment on the joule rating and the weight of BBs being used. I would suggest watching the info before commenting, it's not helpful for anyone, it's not intelligent.
@@FOXGREEN lol ok ok so the NO MED snipers we build here in the uk are very easy to get quiet even a stock 330 TM does a great job with its airbrake piston. Can I use that all for the ssg96?
No it’s for VSR spec only
3:19 I used this technique every build i did, but i did a "larger " chamber with one small, 3 big hole and again one small hole then alternate them. just try it! :D
Yeh the more surface area you can create the better
@@Akastaten my point was make the air slow as possible after the BB but yeah.
omg does the Stalker fit the ssg24👀👀😍
No sadly it’s a different piston design to both VSR and ssg10
sorry it doesn't fit, maybe in the future i design some extra's who knows :)
Hi bought the scorpion thingy but i think its still loud af , is it better to have heavier piston? or lighter? or how did you spec your thing , because my is waaaay louder than yours one. Thanks
What setup do you have? What rif? Cylinder? Head? Barrel?
@@Akastaten atm using Crazy jet 430mm , used 4gold 1black , and a gold head , and i have a sorbopad , now i used the same setup as you 4black 1gold and gold head and its muchh much quieter and i pulled the airbrake pin about 8-9mm out , now its perfect gonna work with it abit more to see if its gonna be quieter , i do have 3.29j with 0.49g bbs tho
@@RIKTA1107 epic!
Good video again, as always!!
Cheers Nick!
My ssg needs it, is so loud
Have you tried the Scorpion in your SRS? It’s extremely good!
Cool Vid, thanks for showing us
Most welcome. Will be doing a VSR/SSG custom build soon, with updates
I stuffed the buttstock full of Polyfill that is used in subwoofer enclosures.
Better than mrs dish towel
Nice.... Can't wait for the scorpion piston to drop. Absolute game changer for the SSG
Yeah it’s the one thing I didn’t like about SSG10 and it solves that
We're you play mate I'm looking for a good outdoor Airsoft site in NI
FRV, Predator, Escarmouche, S51 and down south I play Urban Assault & Absolute Airsoft
@@Akastaten cheers man
can on mb44?
Not sure. Check spec of cylinder
how many fps does this weapon have ? will be silent even with the 700fps version ? Thx
I tried up to 3j and it was silent. I can’t test up to 700fps to answer you unfortunately
@@Akastaten and it can withstand such force (700fps) ?
@@danielkubicina3474 I only work in joules so not sure what 700fps is
@@Akastaten 5j
I may have missed something but how come the details state 4 x steel sections plus 1 steel head but you seem to have 5 steel sections?
I definitely only got 4 with mine which isn’t enough to make a full steel piston.
As a tester I got sent out loads of parts.
Thanks for the reply 👍
So I tried replicating the set up you seem to use with gold head, 4 black & 1 gold piece & got very different results. Around 1.5j. What spring do you use? I had to stick in an M160 & just about managed 2j. 🤔
@@tomkersey2572 I use RAPAX RMS 2j or 3j for short stroke
@@Akastaten Ah ok. Thanks for that 👍
awsome video bro, ty for making it!
No probs
Cant wait to get one :D Nice video man! Thx.
New airbrakes coming out soon and they work even better with SSG/non TM spec cylinder heads
Mine still sounds kinda loud. I have the ssg10 a3. What is the best setup for the piston?
Depends on your cylinder, barrel and power. What way do you have yours?
@@Akastaten i went full black with air break maybe 10 threads out sorta deep. Someone recommended that to me...it was lackluster.
I copied yours from the video as well which is the way I have it. Gold head only a few threads showing past cup, 2 black 1 gold 2 black. 2.8j rapax and stalker spring guide. I didn't grease the spring or the piston yet.
@@theclash24 Did everything work?
My Ssg didn’t work after installing everything
@@jackpfannkuchen3224 yes. It did! It sounded loud next to my head for sure. But, after some suggestions to have someone fire at me from 60 meters I had the wife shoot at me and it was dead quiet. Check out my insta and you can hear my ssx23 and my ssg10!
@@theclash24 Thank you so much for answering, I will check it out
Some great mods I can't wait to try:)

think the ssg10 a2 can be done like that
Yep!

The piston head it's the only part that should be silenced
I’m not sure I know what you mean

@@Frambhueee yep and spring twang
Rly amazing & helpfull video thx for that 👍🙌
Cheers Homie!!!
Nice work buddy
Thanks HH
I mean yes, a wasp or scorpion piston is a good upgrade.. but you literally cant shoot your ssg INSIDE and DRY FIRE. Both those things make it so much louder.
Yes that’s stating the obvious.
@@Akastaten But you did tho :p
@@Suhdudeb I know but I didn’t wana shoot a bb in my office. I think everyone knows slam fires are loud. Thanks for reaching out. I appreciate it
That's amazing, how did you get your rifle to chirp like a bird? 🤣
No that wasn’t it... it was the butterfly!
man i wish I could get stalker products in the US without having to pay a the same price of the order as shipping xD

Definitely is!

@@Akastaten for shure
Maybe you struggle to build sub joule rifle you might need to refine your teching skills further.
2 joule airsoft rifles in your country are also illegal 🤔 so you’ve recorded yourself test firing a section 1 firearms in the open in Northern Ireland 🤔🤔.
That’s not a great message to pass to the public.
So again who’s misleading who ?
@@ArtisOutdoors Wow, that is such a mature answer!! Well done! How did you came up with this comment... I mean your info is so good and not based on your own problems and shortcomings as a tech! #sarcasmmodeoff
