Great answers there Keith. Yeah I'm really looking forward to the new Riot V album as well, their last one is ace. I've still not given that Ghost album a listen, I kind of went off them a bit but I probably should check it out.

That Codex Metallum book looks awesome - I just went on Amazon to look it up and it was on there for 8 quid! SCORE!
Nice version of Leviathan you have there - I missed that one and unfortunately could only get hold of it on a disgusting Gold vinyl edition! 😭

I do not think you will be dissapointed with that Codex book Simon. It has some really interesting
points to make about Metal covers and symbols, I learnt a lot.
The cover is also embossed with pentagrams e.t.c., glad I helped to spend some of your cash!.

Secret Treaties is a pretty good " Oyster Cult " album if you are thinking of trying them. Its not the one
with " Don't Fear The Reaper ". Good proto-metal band i guess.

Devilskin seem to have a sizable following. Largely word spreading about seeing them play live. The
bass player Paul i have seen him in bands since i was in my teens.

Motley Crue tapes like my brother used to play. I think i only need Theater of Pain!, now.
If they had finished up after the John Corabi Album they would have kept a solid reputation, I think.
Alice In Chains i binge on every once in a while when i need to hear it.

Sweet Metal Tag Keith! The Codex Metallum book looks cool, nice pressie. Love early Riot but have to delve into the Riot V stuff a bit more, liked some of what Ive heard. Nice one. Hope ya have a good weekend mate!
You would find that book interesting Jason. Covers a wide area of metal and goes into the symbolism
in the art as well. Octopus Books - Has a cool embossed pentagram on the back of it as well.
I like the Riot " Armor Of Light " album.

The older I get the more I think most albums are too long. There needs to be a good reason to go any longer than 45 minutes. Great answers, Keith!

I love Sammy Hagar, and was watching him and Vince Neil do some songs for his Beach Bash.
It was painful to watch Vince's performance, i had to turn it off.
Just saw some pictures of the " Poison " guys. They look fit and healthy, maybe have not lived as

My suggestion is the Helloween "Dr Stein" if I'm seeing it properly... or Voivod "Dimension Hatross"... why? Because i've never seen those as a shirt before and you'd be the first (in my eyes) to have those 2 shirts :)

That woman on the Blitzkrieg cover looks like Taarna from the cartoon Heavy Metal movie :) Now Blitzkrieg, is that the band Metallica covered?
I wondered about a similar thing. Blitzkrieg is a popular name if you look on Discogs.
There is a band called Blitzkrieg that put out a very good album called " Time Of Changes ", i'm
thinking that might be the one Metallica covered.
Someone in the comments might be able to confirm.
