I totally agree with you, there is no way Hollywood would have produced such a Magnificent, Professional and true to the culture this series. This series has been delicate, sincere, loving, sensitive and most of all true to their history. I dont want the series to end as it has taught me alot about the history of the Ottoman Family (whanau), and especially about the religion. Such beautiful poetry, such beautiful worship...MAGNIFICENT

Cihangir died in Aleppo, Syria in his Sanjak from his condition rather than from grief. He took lots of opium as he had tremendous pain and because of it, became addicted. In reality he didn't even know Mustafa too well. Suleiman expelled Mahidevran from Topkapi after her fight with Hurrem and she never lived in Istanbul after that. It was just date coincidence that their deaths were such close.
Episodes 125 & 126 are just enough to sum up why this series is what it is - MAGNIFICENT in every frame!!! What talent, a bevy of powerhouse performances... My heart literally wept and pleaded equally with Mustafa & Cihangir... One of the best series I've watched till date and will remain special. Just wowed!
When the sultan learned that Mehmet was dead, he thought of a poem that said something along the lines of "I want to smell roses, but all I smell is blood and gunpowder." It broke my heart a little when Cihangir's last words to his father were "Do you smell the roses?"

Two death scenes were the most poetic and metaphysical ones. Valide Sultana who died and met her white horse- beloved husband and Cihangir who was received by an angel and taken to Mustapha's arms. Till now...
These two died because of the same persons; Hurrem who wanted to get rid of Valide and wanted to destroy Hatice's and Ibrahim's life, by telling Valide that she will talk to Syleiman about Ibrahim's relationship with Nigar and now it was Hurrem's fault, by cooperating with Rustem, in order to get rid of Mustafa, to let him executed by his father, they made Syleiman kill his son. That's why Valide and Cihangir died.
In real story sulyman had 2 kids from gulfem before mahidvran and they died when they were child.i think to make the story full gulfem need to be in this show.( Just my opinion)
In real life i don't think Cihangir grieved for his brother but was severerly traumatized by the event. He lived all his life in the palace.Had a privileged relationship with his father, as Suleiman didn't see him as a threat. To find out that his loving father killed his own son could have been very traumatizing. Making shake his trust in people, his father and humanity in general
Not true at all. Changing grew up with Mustafa. Do not forget that Mustafa was always in charge of the realm while their father and brothers were on campaign. Mustafa, beyizid, and changir spent a lot of time together because of this. Mustafa was almost a surrogate father to changir. Even history has it written that he died from his grief after Mustafa died.

Yes, always blaming Hurrem but Mahidevran was much more of a witch than Hurrem. Besides in all of them, only Hurrem asked Allah to give long life for Suleiman in exchange of her life when he was dying in bed in previous episode. While Mahidevran said rest or die in peace, she easily accepted Suleiman's death despite of there's still hope.

Even if Mihrimah didn't betray Mustafa via his seal, his lack of action on those secret meetings to dethrone Suleiman were enough evidence that his followers are waiting for a rebellion against Suleiman. The janissary and secret group of Viziers, navy and that religious shaykh were ready to throw Suleiman out Which King would let that happen when he's alive ? As a father Suleiman lost Mustafa but as a King Suleiman lost a traitor
One doubt..why the king couldn't have accepted his first born as his heir..while he had an amazing support throughout the dynasty..except that 3 cunnings...he would have to be proud of such lovable prince ..and.. if he had accepted his son...he might not have that loss and regression..
Cihangir wasn't even my favourite shezade, but oh my god I actually cried the most in this episode compared to any other. Mustafa was an innocent, but he was not in many ways just from the life he experienced. Cihangir was truly, truly an innocent in all of this and he didn't deserve any of it. I actually cried too hard in this. Also - I am Number 1 Rüstem apologist. That man was used for dirty work by legitimately everyone in the dynasty and no one had any problem leaving him out to dry. He literally lost everything. Rüstem highkey deserves better and it's unfortunate Süleiman immediately forgot all the value Rüstem brought to the empire, although him, Hürrem, and the rest of the dynasty and council had no problem enjoying the benefits of Rüstem's craftiness. Mihrihmah is ungrateful fr. I'm also really starting to like Selim as just like his beard, he's also showing real growth. It was really difficult to envision him as the sultan, but now as options dwindle he's the most obvious choice. The most able to keep his head calm during crisis.

If that dog Rustem didn't interfere, Mustafa would be Sultan, Selim, Rustem, Hurrem and Syleiman would be executed and Beyazid with Cihangir and Mihrimah would be alive, because Mustafa swore that he would never kill his brother (after all, Mihrimah was a woman, a Sultana, so she would never been in danger, only Selim would be executed, Nurbany, their children, Syleiman and Rustem) and b) that she easily got rid of Mustafa, but then it would be only her children and she would be unable to choose one of them.

For a second if we keep everything aside! I know as much as we hated Mustafas death, it was inevitable. If Mustafa becomes the Sultan, Mahidevran would have killed all the princess. It is a fact, Mustafa would never find out. All the Sisters would have helped her. It would be tyranny in the hurrem. Only whats Mahidevran wants happen. But Hurrem has a heart! She survived the tyrants in the palace. Just like everyone played the Sultan. Mustafa would have done the same thing, turning a blind eye to everything.
At first i was so annoyed by atmaca but he is the only one who actually gave mustafa good advice...the others around him just kept telling him what he wanted to hear, and encouraged him to rebel and be a traitor...if he would of not had a hot head, and listen to atmaca he would be alive. atmaca tried to stop him from meeting sultan, but of course mustafa never listens and always does what he wants, then acts like an innocent angel....

She wanted to kill him since episode 1. A little recap, first attempt with Efsun, and after that many failed attempts. She succeeded in the most awful and disturbing way. She is evil stop defending her
Hurrem has been pushing Mehidvran out of the palace to go with Mustafa but she refused to allow her sons to be assigned their own province because she wanted to rule the palace. She broke all the rules and disobeyed the laws of the Empire she enforces on her enemies then gets mad at her sin fir nit providing protection for her and Mirhimah.
Felt very bad for Mustafa...but if we see people who mourned for him in his family are either his loved ones or people with good talents and abilities...he understood that if the people, soldiers and some strong people in his own family even if they were his enemies sons he could easily dethrone Suleiman...he knew Cihangir was a wise and intelligent...Bayezid was brave and strong...they were on his side...Suleiman knew this that's why he never felt Mustafa innocent...Mustafa slowly took over those people hearts whom he felt will stand with him even if he rebels Sultan for the throne.....

In real story sulyman had 2 kids from gulfem before mahidvran and they died when they were child.i think to make the story full gulfem need to be in this show.( Just my opinion)

In real life i don't think Cihangir grieved for his brother but was severerly traumatized by the event. He lived all his life in the palace.Had a privileged relationship with his father, as Suleiman didn't see him as a threat. To find out that his loving father killed his own son could have been very traumatizing. Making shake his trust in people, his father and humanity in general

Not true at all. Changing grew up with Mustafa. Do not forget that Mustafa was always in charge of the realm while their father and brothers were on campaign. Mustafa, beyizid, and changir spent a lot of time together because of this. Mustafa was almost a surrogate father to changir. Even history has it written that he died from his grief after Mustafa died.

Yes, always blaming Hurrem but Mahidevran was much more of a witch than Hurrem. Besides in all of them, only Hurrem asked Allah to give long life for Suleiman in exchange of her life when he was dying in bed in previous episode. While Mahidevran said rest or die in peace, she easily accepted Suleiman's death despite of there's still hope.

Cihangir wasn't even my favourite shezade, but oh my god I actually cried the most in this episode compared to any other. Mustafa was an innocent, but he was not in many ways just from the life he experienced. Cihangir was truly, truly an innocent in all of this and he didn't deserve any of it. I actually cried too hard in this. Also - I am Number 1 Rüstem apologist. That man was used for dirty work by legitimately everyone in the dynasty and no one had any problem leaving him out to dry. He literally lost everything. Rüstem highkey deserves better and it's unfortunate Süleiman immediately forgot all the value Rüstem brought to the empire, although him, Hürrem, and the rest of the dynasty and council had no problem enjoying the benefits of Rüstem's craftiness. Mihrihmah is ungrateful fr. I'm also really starting to like Selim as just like his beard, he's also showing real growth. It was really difficult to envision him as the sultan, but now as options dwindle he's the most obvious choice. The most able to keep his head calm during crisis.

For a second if we keep everything aside! I know as much as we hated Mustafas death, it was inevitable. If Mustafa becomes the Sultan, Mahidevran would have killed all the princess. It is a fact, Mustafa would never find out. All the Sisters would have helped her. It would be tyranny in the hurrem. Only whats Mahidevran wants happen. But Hurrem has a heart! She survived the tyrants in the palace. Just like everyone played the Sultan. Mustafa would have done the same thing, turning a blind eye to everything.

Hurrem has been pushing Mehidvran out of the palace to go with Mustafa but she refused to allow her sons to be assigned their own province because she wanted to rule the palace. She broke all the rules and disobeyed the laws of the Empire she enforces on her enemies then gets mad at her sin fir nit providing protection for her and Mirhimah.
I mean it's a lot more complicated than that.
Felt very bad for Mustafa...but if we see people who mourned for him in his family are either his loved ones or people with good talents and abilities...he understood that if the people, soldiers and some strong people in his own family even if they were his enemies sons he could easily dethrone Suleiman...he knew Cihangir was a wise and intelligent...Bayezid was brave and strong...they were on his side...Suleiman knew this that's why he never felt Mustafa innocent...Mustafa slowly took over those people hearts whom he felt will stand with him even if he rebels Sultan for the throne.....
Mustafa was Power hungry and would eventually kill his brothers. They were puppets and puddy in his hands. How could one blames Hurrem for his mother unhappiness and stated multiple times Hurrem was the reason the Sultan treated them differently. Knowing this how could Mustafa truly love and care about his brothers??? I mean he hates Hurrem and was told by Ibrahim to gain his brothers trust and get them on his side. So he blinded them with love and the talks of ruling together... Which is funny to me.. Do you honestly think Mahidevran would allow her son to do such a thing??? Rule with Hurrems sons??? Ha!
