@Ēsoþeric wisđōm the numerous tombs of the THRACIAN rulers in modern day Bulgaria paint much more complicated picture. Greece doesn't own up to many things it claims. For example the now associated with Mediterranean color combination of white and blue.
I know your question is from 9 years ago, but the reason is because Thrace was once it's own place, but now is split between Bulgaria, Turkey, and Greece. Even though Thrace itself no longer exist, some people of Thracian lineage choose to preserve parts of their culture through music! Manu Bulgarians are not Thracian, but some Thracians may also be Bulgarian. I hope this helps!
@@Emperor-Quill The thracians genetically are still present but have went genetic influences and assimilated to slavs, greeks, romans and very later turks. I think the greeks of thrace and pomaks have a lot of thracian ancestry in comparison but Im not very certain.

Wow, that actually sounds typical Serbian, like i would have thought, that it is a Serbian traditional song. Makes sense, since Triballi are the ancestors of most Serbs, and those were the greatest as culturally and by population, Thracian tribe. Serbs were also constantly mentioned as Triballi in the Middle Ages. They were different to those Thracian tribes of Odrysia (Istanbul, Eastern Greece and southeastern Bulgaria), which were more orientalic influenced and very hellenic in culture. Love it! ❤️🇷🇸 Greetings to our Odrysian neighbours ❤️🇬🇷
There is no Turkish or Greek music on the Balkans. The oldest ever and original Balkan music is the Thracian Music. The Thracians are the oldest Civilization on Earth. Thracians means Bulgarians!
Bulgarians "means"a liddle bit of thracian heritage. Because you speak and live a slavic language and culture. And the only "Thracians" who live today, are these people who live in Thracia. Always that shitty cheesy relativistic nationalism.
That little bit of Thracian Heritage means 60% of DNA in our Blood, dear mate! Sorry to say, but the Nations on the Balkans are with Thracian Heritage, more than the official political line agrees. Yes, I am a Bulgarian... and yes, I am a proud Thracian, as well!!!
Everything is way of living... We don't live like our antecedents. So, why you are categorical about who is Thracian? I'm sure you don't know what means the word Thracian... hahaha but your are so categorical about dna
This is wonderful and beautiful folk music from Bulgaria. This is Thracian rachenica or rachenitsa. Music very nice

I have to tell you Maxim, as a Hungarian I always loved Bulgaria. God bless you all with a good future and pleasant present.
Nice new arrangement of the traditional Bulgarian tune
The same for Romania and Ukraine.
@@kennybeginner4087 How is it the same? Southern Romania maybe, definitely not Ukraine 😂

From Eastern Thrace ❤
That sounds most likely western Thracian, from the Shopluk area. Very similar/ identical to Serbin traditional music.

Goralos from Karpatos hills/ Magura
Thracian tribes unite!
Dacians, the most brave from all thracians
If you think of Romanians as Thracians, then not quite right. They betrayed their allies in every war when the wind turned.
Exactly power of the dacians in romanian ppl !!! We will fight till the end and face any foe !!!

This is Ancient Greek and Bulgarian Music !
It’s actually most likely the western Thracian style, of nowadays Shopluk. It’s actually identical to Serbian traditional music, not Bulgarians.

Yes. However, I state the Thracians form around 60% of the DNA of today's Bulgarians. This is exactly what I state.
This music is not Thracian at all, anyone who understands music would understand me
