The Joe Pyne show was all about how well his guests ( all with non-mainstream beliefs) could stand up to the ridicule of Pyne and his audience. I saw many of the shows, but never saw the one with LaVey. LaVey gets and A-plus, and makes Pyne look like the jerk he was.

Yes, there's just not many people whose literal claim to fame was making a clown of themselves.
I remember Joe Pyne from this interview, that I watched in the early 70's. Joe's transgression was not letting his guest expand on his thoughts, and as a host trying to play up the absurdity of his guest. Joe couldn't have done better because he didn't understand the assignment. Also, sadly and quite depressingly Anton had another mainstream interview later on. He looked miserable and defeated. I believe he actually took what he did seriously and his followers did what they wanted, making a mockery out of him and crushing his spirit. I can only imagine how many children suffered, I believe Anton's son did, vaguely remember him talking about his father, and not in a good way.

I'm not a Satanist but the Satanic Bible (which is about honesty, hedonism and individuality) is well worth a read as LaVey was a highly perceptive man who, more than anything, understood the true nature of man. It is a place OF ULTIMATE TORMENT! Where you are not only on fire.. you are also being ripped apart by demons that hate you! Hate you with a fervent passion! There is NO love in them. And.. if you wanna think that he was this great guy and that the satanic church and their beliefs are good or great or even just ok.. maybe you should look a little deeper into Mr. LeVey. Look at his last words. This is the actual last words of Anton LeVey as he lay dying on his death bed with family members by his side.
"Oh my! Oh my! What have I done!!! There's something very wrong! There's something very wrong! There's something very wrong!!!".
He said this with his last few seconds on Earth. He SAW.. where.. he was starting to go.
So lemme ask you.. does Hell REALLYYY sound that fun to you?
Jesus is the Christ. And only by HIM.. can you get to Heaven. Period! If you do not call out to Him and beg Him for forgiveness for your sins.. you will go to that place that Anton LeVey.. is.. right.. NOW.
The place that he described in TERROR when he took his last breaths.

I'm a Buddhist so you're barking up the wring tree with your Jesus talk because I'm really not into whatever you're trying to preach here. I don't believe in hell or the need for a prophet to suffer for me in what's basically a long con of guilt
Also, I wouldn't take rhe words of someone who's on their deathbed, delirious no doubt, as being serious visions of hell or heaven, and something like that already sounds made up by his detractors like his daughter who is well known for having a crisis of faith.
Jesus loves you and wants you to follow Him ❤ He is the way, the truth, and the life. I was an atheist for years until I had a supernatural encounter with Jesus that profoundly changed my life. The gift of salvation and eternal life is available to all who put their trust in Jesus. He can heal you of the deepest pain, trauma, disease, addictions, and shame. Seek Him with a genuine and humble heart and He will reveal His existence to you.
I will say this. He handled the sarcasm and Interview just bashing him. He stayed respectful. I did here that on his death bed that he found God and had a revilation and thats God Attempting one last time to save him. Some have the Devil take over them. We must fight the Fight.

It's easy to call people crazy and write them off but he did an interview once and one thing he said made A LOT of sense. He said he never lets his children watch TV or any type of media and will not until they are able to discern what they are watching. They call it television "programming" for a reason.
I think that's a very smart thing to do.

I'll roll with the theme of the comment section and declare that I'm not a Satanist or Christian, but agnostic; you look into the history of organized religions, especially Christianity, and you come to realize just how hypocritical, flawed, empty and broken they really are.
I have Anton to thank for some of my personal research into religion, as his book, The Satanic Bible, is a marvelous read. I find the ritualistic aspects of the last section to be laughably absurd, but he makes many valid points in the majority of the book. I encourage everyone to delve into it with a critical mind, expand your inner library, and maybe even your theological framework.
Alot of people may not remember Joe Pyne, he was on the media continuum that birthed Limbaugh, Hannity and Alex Jones. Personally, I remember this particular show and can honestly say he treated Anton with alot more respect than most his guests.
Without being a Christian, you are making yourself quite vulnerable to many eyeballs that will be looking at you. Millions of them. While you sit curled in fear, they will watch you.
