0:24 Mage is ranked so high because I really like support classes. Especially in this game. Getting a lot of questions about it so gonna leave this comment here.
idk if you know about the hidden op ability of the classes with roll to simply skip Daimon by putting a barrel up to the side of the exit gate and rolling into the corner (I guess anyone can with the patented double barrel technique, but the setup for rolling bois is like 10 seconds) I can pull like twenty lvl3 weapons and armor in maybe an hour and a half. I know people use it for the moonbeam gem doors for instant rings of perseverance. It's cool here though since the isle's loop refreshes on exiting Daimon's room, it lets you get to post-Daimon Bitterblack without actually fighting him.
I agree that Magick Archer is kinda boring, but Assassin is just a versatile glass-cannon Fighter, and yet the two classes are in opposite sides of the list. What makes you hate the stabby stabby bois so much?
My favorite class is sorcerer because my life is a disaster, I am a disaster, therefore I should create natural disasters. That being said, while I do not enjoy playing warrior personally, I do enjoy watching the bonk so thanks for another fun video!
Any game I play, fantasy, sci-fi, fucking chess, I'm gonna use the big bonk. It just has to be done, bonk is all that matters. It is the beginning and the end of all, the maximum bonk. Awesome video as always, but god damn you for making me download and play this game for the millionth time
magic archer will always hold a special place for me, back in the day I actually tried warrior first playthrough and it didn't go well. iraklis is amazing
I played as warrior when the game first dropped on 360 blissfully unaware of how gimped it is in comparison to other locations. A decade later and it's still my preferred one. Landing Arc of Obliteration is literal crack.
Sometimes you just wanna bonk people. That's the beauty of ddda's vocation system, there's a lil something for everyone, for all preferences, styles and moods
Hold up. Warrior love, Glory Hammer, AND the Divinity 2 soundtrack? This video was tailor made to make me love this channel even more. A true masterwork.
Hey, just wanted you to know because of your Dragon's Dogma videos I started playing it last year for the first time. Best game I have ever played since in a long time.
Miyazaki drunk dialed me at 2:00 am yesterday to say: "Elden Ring stole jumping attacks with greatweapons from DDDA" after which he had an intense diarrhea and proceeded to puke his brains out over the phone.
While Ive always loved Strider or Assassin, due to their skills and bow's, Warrior was a class that every time I tried, it was hard, but so much FUN. Theres nothing quite like the rush of charging up that Arc of Obliteration and seeing everything in front of you reduced to a red stain on the ground. Also your editing seems to only have gotten better, I love it :D
First I went to Mystic Knight cause I thought it would be stronger (it its) and would be more fun to play with. But I can't run away from the bonk class in every rpg, so I tested Warrior, and when I got the Arc of Deliverance, oooh boy, one of the most satisfying moments of my gaming life. It's amazing how brutal this thing sounds and looks, in a way I've never seen in a game. A class that can throw Death itself to the air and make it look like a sac of potatoes falling, or stop a demon lord creature from banishing your friends with a black hole with a SINGLE BIG BONK, it's just priceless. Arc of Obliteration is by far my favorite skill ever, it never gets old, always a pleasure to hit. And I absolutly agree with you, it's a class that makes you bond to your pawns, almost every battle I was grateful to them, specially my best girl sorcerer Aya Syrvir.
Well. Other classes are capable of handling everything pretty easily while warrior does struggle with various bosses and enemy types so other classes dont really need pawns at all so no reason to get attached to them. However pawns help warriors alot which obviously would build attachments like in pokemon when you catch a random mon and it starts saving you in battles you start to like that mon more
I've always mained a warrior but often times got destroyed because of its limits, but watching you fight and the way you handled the daimon was like poetry in motion. Youve inspired me, about to crush the daimon for the 3rd time.
The Warrior experience is playing the entire campaign feeling like a second class citizen, then reaching the Grigori fight and experiencing that cinematic moment where you use Arc of Obliteration against his heart while he’s strafing (as you demonstrated at the start of your Warrior Expectation vs Reality video). In that one moment, you feel like the game was made just for you…before you spend 15-30 minutes trying to hit the heart again once Grigori gets back to his feet, because Warrior has no range.
Seeing The spirit of the 1994 nagash model in the patrons list always makes me chuckle a bit, not because I get the reference, I don’t, but because it’s so long it gets it’s own line and it is so oddly specific. What is the 1994 nagash model? Why does it’s spirit live on in this persons memory? Why did the model change? I have questions but I don’t really want the answers
The original 1994 miniature of Nagash was widely considered one of the worst models Games Workshop ever put out. Nagash is meant to be the ultimate lich lord and instead he looks like a complete fucking clown...compare that to his later model released with Age of Sigmar and you'll see why.
I started watching the video, stopped and then forgot which video it was but remember that a video had the Skylanders Giants main theme in the background at the beginning. Eventually found it again in my history but it caught me off guard. Also hit me with nostalgia so thank you for including it
I just got back into Dragon's Dogma after the sequel's announcement, and I definitely didn't expect one of the first things I'd see was Gigachad Grigori...I am so glad I came back to this community.
I just began playing this game about two weeks ago. Love it. One of my faves. As a Warrior for the past 1oo levels and 97% of my playtime, I didn't need more convincing- but I appreciate the Warrior appreciation and memes. Nothing like climbing a Wyvern so you can smack it back down. And faceplant into the dirt right alongside it.
I have shown this video to my brother and we have both agreed that I have embraced the bonk! This is Warriors to a T and I love it, thank you for the laughs and fun video
I was literally about to start a game where i wanted to just level Warrior, from start to finish. I'm convinced now. I'm about to obliterate those MFs.
Try levelling to 200 with Fighter or Strider using Death’s knocked off map cheese, so you don’t focus Health gains primarily, but high (Fighter) or balanced (Strider) Defence gains so more and more attacks against your Arisen fail to stagger the charge-ups
When I first played this game back in 2012, I first chose fighter then strider and played about a few hours between them. Then New vocations were unlocked and then I went with Warrior for the first time. To this day, I have played DD from start to finish around 6 times and not once have I changed vocation from warrior for the sole reason that if I did, I would feel like a little bitch.
In the manga that came out with the game, the warrior was a powerhouse destroying several enemies with a single swing and taking blows as if they were nothing, I really hoped that for Dark Arisen they would correct the damage, the poise and the limit of 3 skills, even with that the warrior is totally a Chad
Daimon: I have a souls sucking vortex! Me & my pawns: and we have Arc of Obliteration! *Cut to me casually being sucked into the vortex with my sword raised Full disclosure: learned this trick from your videos
So this is my first playthrough and I started with Warrior and I gotta say, I love it. I've messed with the other vocations and they're pretty cool, but I always go back to the BONKS.

it so weird seeing this shit from an actual friend, it funny thinking that cringe is just sitting in their chair fucking as close to the mic speaking into it idk why but it bring me great laughter, great video have a good one
Man, every time I come across one of these videos, I feel the call. The unholy draw to abandon my life in the living world and return to my true home in Gransys.
How to play warrior: 1.get big sword or hammer 2. Have magic archer or mage, or strider pawn friends 3. The most important step master the arc bonk 4. Final step bonk everything with your pawns and feel all the power of a god
I never liked warrior in the DD PS3 days. But since you made a montage of it with one of my favorite songs as of today I bought the discounted DD:DA for PS4 and started playing again, thanks for stoking my fire for DD :D. Also just stumbled onto your channel while browsing for DD2 news, subbed.
Just found your channel and fucking hell you are funny. The dellivery of "are a problem at all... because I have a hammer, that's twice my size." Keep it up!
You have no idea how happy I was to hear Glory Hammer AND that you emphasized the LASER! POWERED! GOBLIN! SMASHER! bit. Their albums are so cheesy but in the best freaking way possible.
I don't care if it has shortcomings; Warrior is my favorite, and most played vocation. No other heavy class in any other ARPG I've played feels as raw and empowering. Maybe ultra-greatswords in Souls games, but I still think Warrior outdoes them.
"You need a team to back you up!" yeah you need a team to put the enemies out of their misery so they don't have to suffer through watching all their friends get arc of obliterationed one after another. Sure warrior might lack some of the over poweredness of the other classes...but there's something so beautiful about being able to do to eliminators, what they do to your allies.
we warriors do infact fulfil a power fantasy, it's the "i am going to slowly walk towards you.... and hit you once. you will die" and i love it. our health is beyond god, physical resistance tanks all. we may not have magic to alter the terrain... BUT OUR ARMS ARE ENOUGH. i hope in DD2 it's exactly the fcking same. only different is we get 3 more skills like every other class. that is all. bonk lord reigns supreme. also i want another Iraklis. i love that thing. either no damage or ALL OF IT. especially on arc of obliteration.... and then there are the strength boosting items.... heheheheh
I'm actually a warrior main, as well. Not being staggered easily is what bought me. I remember the days when bandits staggered me everytime they delivered a stabby stab stab, but not anymore.
I actually really enjoy playing warrior. There is something so satisfying about shuffling up to a giant monster at a speed that would bore a snail and then whacking it onto its ass.
Though I use Magic Archer due to flame hugs being the warmest way to welcome a enemy to the afterlife, the shield and dagger assassin is by far my favorite class. Pretty much immortal and can counter with so much style.
There's a mod on Nexus that lets Warrior use all 6 skill slots. If I remember right, it basically gives them a fake shield so they have "shield skills", but it's just more Warrior skills. I've been meaning to try that one out

@0-kingsloth-0 The best class at making the player fall asleep from boredom, sure.
@0-kingsloth-0 it’s my favorite class but it’s entirely too overpowered

Pommel bash, and that catapult blade skill that let's you throw pawns into the air for insane helm splitter comboes.
I feel that one-shotting the Gryphin is a rite of passage for warrior vocations
I did that one time
I think it's just a rite of passage for anyone who plays the game. Every vocation can do it, you just need to know what you're doing.
You're among one of the only Content Creators to keep the hype about DD alive on TH-cam. And for that I'm grateful.
