You guys all forget about the XMAN Storm. She not only held the hammer and title of Thor Goddess of Thunder, she even went to Asgard to hangout and live for a time.
I'm a bit curious. Thor went to the past to collect a stone and collected his hammer as well before going back to the present. Where was past Thor when present Thor called the hammer and what would happen when past Thor would call for his hammer.
if you paid attention to the movie cap went back in time to the moment the stones were taken and put them back he also took the hammer with him and he came back without it therefore he put the hammer back the moment it was taken
I think as in the present if we want to go to the past, whatever time we spend in the past it is just 5 seconds for us according to Bruce banner when he sends cap in the past to keep the stones at their right place. Now in the past if we take something from their and return into the present and whatever we spend time here (present) it should take just 5 seconds for the past. As mentioned stones are also taken from the past. I hope you will agree with my answer.
The whole idea of time traveling, mainly to the past, to change something is usually weird. The time paradox, luckily MCU didn't go the same direction as DC did.
I think the REAL reason vision could hold the hammer isn’t because he’s worthy, but he had just been created so he hadn’t done anything unworthy. How could he? He was just born
Can you tell me how captain America summoned lightning from hammer when in thor ragnanork odin said that hammer was to channel thor s powers so it means that captain America can produce from thunder in his body
Simple: anyone worthy of wielding Mojlnir also shall possess the powers of Thor. Therefore, Cap obtained Thors Thunder (lightning) abilities, and channeled them through the hammer.
Odin's enchantment who'so ever hold this hammer if he be worthy shall possess the power of thor mjolnir harnesses thor's power it means mjolnir can also summon lightning (In my opinion)
9:24 Also Thor is the God of Thunder not Lightning so maybe lightning comes from both. Besides Mjolnir gives the power of Thor to whoever wields it. So watch out when Jane gets her hold on it...it may be the best Thor, yet (I mean movie not actual Thor)*
@@dannybowers8017 I never read that version so I don't have the inside knowledge. I hope MCU can do better than the comics. Marvel as a comic has started to fall off from what it used to be. I'll always be a fan though.
Captain America is the true hero of the MCU because even when he was a teenager without the super soldier serum he still wants to protect others thats hes my favorite
Cool video. Only thing that I would disagree with is that Cap was worthy in Age of Ultron. The events of Age of Ultron happened after Winter Soldier where Cap finds out that Bucky killed Tony's parents. Since he willingly kept this from Tony, he couldn't have been worthy at the party in my opinion. I could be wrong tho.
Jeffrey Jeannis He was protecting both his friends, finding out who killed your parents after you buried it is painful and Bucky would have had his own problems from Cap telling Tony that
Being worthy of the power of Thor means that you get the ability to control lightening as well. Capt Rogers, as long as he holds the hammer, can channel lightening through it.
In The 2011 film: "Thor" (1st of 3) Oden states that anyone worthy of wielding Mjolnir, Shall also possess the powers of Thor. That's why Cap can control the Thunder/Lightning When he wields it in End Game...
My theory is "being worthy" is different for every person trying to lift the hammer. As stated, Thor's "worthiness" is brought about by humility and sacrifice. Vision's is his valuing of all forms of life regardless of its span and origin. For Steve, I think, is his warrior spirit; he would always try to find a diplomatic solution, compromise and be indecisive to a fault. Sure he can fight but always as a last resort, even if it means biting the bullet himself. For Steve to wield Mjolnir, he needed to live up to the speech in the funeral in Civil War. Steve Rogers story arc in the MCU is being Captain America. Him wielding Mjolnir is the fulfillment of that story.
Man do I wish I’d had access to those comics as a kid! Dammit, I’d be so much more knowledgeable about all of this that I love! I never had cable tv until I was 22 as we lived in a very rural area, no comics, yet somehow,,,I knew of Thor and made cardboard hammers and ran around smashing whatever a cardboard hammer could smash🥴 which is not much...
Fun fact:Because thor didn't lift the hammer in Age of Ultron because he didn't want thor to be ashamed in all of the members of the avengers and that is what we call "WORTHY"
when he said that 9:24-9:46 confused me cause when odin said that if someone held the hammer they would posses the power of thor so it made total sense Captain America was summoning lightning
Ggtr Uuhgtrr it doesn’t matter, since he’s an AI the rules don’t apply, he used to be part of a program on a computer until he was uploaded into some form of a body with an infinity stone
The reason cap can control lightning in endgame is quite simple the enchantment Odin put on it was Whosoever holds this hammer, if they be worthy shall possess the power of Thor. It says if you are worthy you would be able to do what cap did.
I feel like tony should be able to lift miljnior either after he made Mark 85 or after he snapped his finger and didn’t die. This is because in an interview it’s stated that iron man specifically made the mark 85 knowing that it would save the universe as it can hold the infinity stones but also would kill tony himself. this shows that he was willing to make a sacrifice similar if not more than captain America
Is Eitri the Dwarf going to make a second Mjolnir for Jane Foster to become the Female Thor in order to stop the Enchantress or Gorr the God Butcher? Is Beta Ray Bill going to get a different type of weapon since Thor has Stormbreaker?
Even if new hammer is created it won't have any enchantment on it. So it won't be that special. I think there will be like some alternate timeline thing and the mjolnir from the timeline Loki created during endgame will be lifted by Jane .
I think that they still have mjolnir only bc they already created a alternate universe but maybe something happens that he feels he doesnt need it or she does need it
Correct me if I'm wrong: The Space Stone can transport the bearer to any place in the universe...but it does not transcend realities..right? If so, Loki did not reappear in an alternate universe, only a different location in the same universe.
Loki was supposed to go back to asgard on endgame. But him being able to escape and not go into asgard makes another reality where loki is in another place after the events of the first avengers.
Jonah G wym didn’t need him to yet?? Your wrong, they did need him to cause that was his last movie. And his friend Thor was literally on the brink of death, he can’t let his friend die!! And especially since this was Captain’s last move since he went back to his original time to have that dance with the women he loves, and marries her, now he’s grown old and won’t be fighting anyone, so the Endgame Battle scene was his only chance, plus is was soooo dope seeing fight to his full potential, (if that was his best)
Basically cap was worthy pretty much since that part in the first avenger when he jumped on top of the fake grenade as a sacrifice which is one of the ways of being worthy, and also the part where he crashed the ship to save others, then in age of ultron captain America realized he could lift the hammer but he chose not too and played it like he couldn’t pick it up because of his loyalty and didn’t wanna “show off” or stand out / embarrass Thor so he decided not to pick it up so Thor can feel good about himself until endgame because he new that thanos was too strong for them so he decided to pick the hammer up, basically Rogers was worthy ever since the first avenger movie which is probably why he was able to hold thanos’ gauntlet back in infinity war because he may have been working with the power of mjolnir(probably)
*This would save you some time:* Cap couldn't lift it earlier because he wasn't worthy enough, also, the mjolnir didn't think cap needed a lot of power ,he knew they could do it In endgame however ,thor is about to die , without Thor noone could lift the hammer ,that's where cap needed power, to save his friend,
When I saw this I couldn't resist watching it cuz before I clicked on it the title was too long and it only showed "why cap waited to lift thors ham..."
1 Tony sacrificed himself at the end of Avengers 2 Groot sacrificed himself for his gang in 1st Guardians 3 Hella held the hammer before busting it. 4 At a day old Vision held it.
Stealing someone else's thunder isn't worthy and Cap knew he already was, just was modest enough not to prove the point when the time came. He lifted it only when it became necessary.
freakfly23 The first time he was going to “sacrifice” himself was for the fame and recognition that would have came with it, it really wasn’t going to be done for the greater good (although, it was foreshadowing his change). The second time, he did it for the greater good, but he wouldn’t be worthy right up until that point, so he COULD have picked it up right when he deciphered Strange’s plan and was willing to die, but not before.
@@thebeast9606 yeah no you are wrong big time why yes telling the world he was iron man is done for fame and all that because he has a big ego he changed the moment he was in that cave. He was willing to sacrifice himself at the end of the first movie because originally his plan was to be out of the way but when he couldn't he told Pepper to do it anyways, the second time he was willing to sacrifice himself was when Loki attacked earth and as usual our government's answer (because we know they'd of nuked the place immediately) is to nuke New York and so Fury tells Stark and he proceeds to get rid of it at which point Captain America says that's a one way trip acknowledgeing that and ignoring it calls Pepper for his goodbyes prepared to die. Lastly he obviously sacrifices himself to kill Thanos knowing they had saved the world. At what point are any of those selfish please do tell
Austin Smith Remember when Tony BRAGGED about being willing to sacrifice himself (honestly can’t remember what movie it was)...that right there proves me right because it was that type of attitude by Thor that made Odin put the worthiness enchantment on Mjolnir. When Thor changed, he became worthy again, so tell me how Tony who still had that attitude almost up until he was going to die was worthy...???
@@freakfly23 Okay, he did brag about his act of saving people, but yes, he did say that, and with that you just proved my point that he wasn't worthy because he wouldn't sacrifice himself for the greater good like Steve Rogers showed he would when he jumped on the grenade.
Ego was the reason Thor lost his worthiness of his hammer. So, being that said ... ego was in all of them in Age of Ultron. Meaning, ego automatically makes you not worthy. Truth, honor and sacrifice is what made Capt. worthy at that precise time. Imo 😉
Not really. After that event Tony bragged about savjng the day. If you're going to brag about something like that then you're really not that worthy. Also, Tomy creating Ultron didn't really help his chances of being worthy.
troly poly so wait, sacrificing yourself to save 7 people outweighs sacrificing yourself to save millions of people as long as you don’t brag later? And if you’re referring to AoU when he bragged about the wormhole nuke in NY, then he was illustrating the necessity of having Ultron rather than bragging about what he did imo
Most important thing you forgot: *You can't just Wiggle Mjolnir, you either can pick it up completly or not at all.* So Cap faked it , in order to keep Thor's pride high. That's what makes him worthy
Odin is also the allfather. Some have also said he is omniscient though. If not it's also suspected he's weilded all the infinity stones himself. Who's to say he didn't the need for another to need the power of his son in the future or a point beyond if he isn't able to sse beyond his own death. If to save the life of his son or for the good of all the realms and worlds of Odin's domain.
Thor holds mjolnir cap weilded it like a true warrior to its fullest ..thats why hes such a bad ass to me .hes a fighter and a intelligent one.a fighter without fear whether wins or loses
Tony can't wield mjolnir because he's only SOMETIMES a good guy and standing up for his friends. Other times he's being the bully and throwing his own friends in jail. Meanwhile Cap is the one sticking up for his friends and busting them out of jail.
@@insertnamehere2746 The reason Tony was like that was because of that lady coming up to a that is event telling him about how her son had died and then the whole events in Africa so he was trying to stand up for the citizens. Was it the right choice I don't know ilettes a matter of opinion I'm not saying it was the right thing to do
Tony made sure over and over again that everyone knew he saved New York, & he couldn’t admit that he was wrong when he created. Yes he died snapping everyone back but that thing that he did right doesn’t immediately make up for everything he does wrong, you need to be constantly worthy to wield Mjolnir
XXICEMASTER by being constantly worthy, does that include the time when Thor became an alcoholic video gamer, or when he made Heimdall betray his king, when he invaded the frost giants realm to destroy them all? Cuz the hammer still answered to him in those times
@@HoichiTheEarless When he invaded the frost giant realm, the hammer was not enchanted meaning anyone could lift it, we have no idea if Thor could lift the hammer or not when he became an alcoholic video gamer because the hammer was destroyed and stormbreaker wasn't enchanted, when he did lift the hammer when he went back in time he had just spoken to his Mum, take in what she said and realised what he had to do, he realised that he couldn't carry on drinking and being lazy which for most people takes a lot of will power and when he made Heimdall betray Odin Thor was actually right, Odin said himself at the end of The Dark World that Thor would be a wiser King meaning even Odin realised Thor was right so really yes, at those moments it makes sense for the hammer to have answered to him
He could shoot lightning and stuf because of the enchantment Odin put on it "whoever's worthy enough to weild this hammer you shall grant him the power of thor"
You think worthiness is defined by self sacrifice? Check my reply a few posts up... Being willing to die for the things you care about is actually a far greater grey area of morality etc than a first glance will lead you to expect.
Because he didn’t want to ruin Thor’s ego back then but because he already ruined it himself in endgame by getting fat and drunk he could lift if in front of everyone without ruining his ego because it’s already ruined
Treyvon Williams it’s a little different, the shield is something that everyone can pick up and use, which we’ve seen many times over the last 11 years. The hammer is a much different story, it’s supposed to only be used by Thor. The directors or writers (can’t remember which) said cap purposely didn’t lift it in AoU so he wouldn’t embarrass Thor
except he was able to wiggle it? is Mjolnir worthiness categorized into "lift/use" and "wiggle" categories? no, the real reason he didn't lift prior to the Endgame battle is cuz the plot didn't need him to lift it before that moment, and the writers made an oversight in favor of getting a fan boy jizz moment over continuity and logic...
The reason Cap could use the powers of lightening is because it is well known that "whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor". The hammer itself is not the power source, but it does PROVIDE THE POWERS OF THOR to whosoever is worthy enough to hold Mjolnir. That one should have been obvious to anyone who knows anything about Marvel/Thor/Mjolnir.
Well is a couple of things, fist Thor said, I knew it. Meaning that he felt he was worthy. He always was worthy and Thor also regained his worthiness by abandoning his kingdomship. He wanted to live as normal person and the sacrifice was the topper.
Bobby Hempel oh my bad, I thought he wasn’t worthy because he was behind on a secret of who killed his friends parents, but I guess Odin finds that worthy😂
Clearly in that scene when Stark asked if he knew Cap said he didn't know it was him. So he knew how Starks parents died, but had no idea it was bucky that did it so your statement would be incorrect about Cap knowing exactly who killed starks parents.
I think it’s both, the hammer was made to concentrate his power. But he also enchanted it as a fail safe. The creation of the hammer and what was done to the hammer are two different things.
Before I watch this I am going to make a few wild guess... 1.He was not worthy until he told Tony about his parents and Bucky. 2. In Age of Ultron he didn't want to embarrass Thor...or his friends...(he didn't want to hurt Thor's feelings of him being the only one worthy to lift it...) 3. They tried to make it seem badass when he lifted it because it was like "oh let's show his real power because this is the last movie"... If he could wield it the whole time in Age of Ultron, the movie runtime would at least 1 hour 45 minutes shorter. Capt. and Thor would basically be the only two needed to stop Ultron when he first appears before his minions even appear, given the other avengers nothing to do the whole movie...it would have been Age of Ultron: Captain America and Thor...
Or maybe either Tony or Bruce Banner use the infinity Gauntlet with all five stones to change the properties. Remember Bruce searched for Natasha (we didn't see this) theoretically could change every aspect of past and the future. MOre importantly, Bruce already knew the outcome of the war and even played with time machine. Remember, the reality we see after Bruce snap is a reality he controlled. Even Hulk knocking down out the teserac, was Bruce infinitly gauntlet controlled event. Remember, Thanos allowed this one reality after the snap because of his fight with the Hulk and Hulk allowing Thanos to win. Remember Thanos had the power to go to all of realities when he performed the snap and saw all time lines. He allowed only one time line.

CBR: Why Captain America Waited Until Avengers: Endgame To Lift Thor’s Hammer Mjolnir
Me: Ez *BECAUSE IT WAS NOT IN THE SCRIPT*
I'm a bit curious. Thor went to the past to collect a stone and collected his hammer as well before going back to the present. Where was past Thor when present Thor called the hammer and what would happen when past Thor would call for his hammer.
if you paid attention to the movie cap went back in time to the moment the stones were taken and put them back he also took the hammer with him and he came back without it therefore he put the hammer back the moment it was taken
So while they were in the present, time stood still in the past?
I think as in the present if we want to go to the past, whatever time we spend in the past it is just 5 seconds for us according to Bruce banner when he sends cap in the past to keep the stones at their right place.
Now in the past if we take something from their and return into the present and whatever we spend time here (present) it should take just 5 seconds for the past.
As mentioned stones are also taken from the past.
I hope you will agree with my answer.
The whole idea of time traveling, mainly to the past, to change something is usually weird. The time paradox, luckily MCU didn't go the same direction as DC did.
@@lonwolf7922 basically they can travel back to the same moment so that yes, no time has passed
Odin's enchantment who'so ever hold this hammer if he be worthy shall possess the power of thor mjolnir harnesses thor's power it means mjolnir can also summon lightning
(In my opinion)
9:24 Also Thor is the God of Thunder not Lightning so maybe lightning comes from both. Besides Mjolnir gives the power of Thor to whoever wields it. So watch out when Jane gets her hold on it...it may be the best Thor, yet (I mean movie not actual Thor)*
It will get ruined with feminist ideology like the comic version was
@@dannybowers8017 I never read that version so I don't have the inside knowledge. I hope MCU can do better than the comics. Marvel as a comic has started to fall off from what it used to be. I'll always be a fan though.
So far, every movie that got feministed was absolutely terrible... Let's hope they won't make this terrible as well.
How many videos cbr will make on this
Eli exactly what I said. They miss Marvel dropping movies a couple times a years. Dry out here. They are milking it till Widow comes out.
All of them
Captain America is the true hero of the MCU because even when he was a teenager without the super soldier serum he still wants to protect others thats hes my favorite
Idk if this could be a new movie but I think they’re going to make Avengers: The Alternate
In The 2011 film: "Thor" (1st of 3) Oden states that anyone worthy of wielding Mjolnir, Shall also possess the powers of Thor. That's why Cap can control the Thunder/Lightning When he wields it in End Game...
0:41 who is the suit guy behind Loki?
pm4321 Gordon Freeman
Looks like John wick to me
My theory is "being worthy" is different for every person trying to lift the hammer.
Wrong. Vision has the gem in his head. The gem is godly
Groot sacrificed him self
Disney:how many endgame video you will make
Cbr:yes
Man do I wish I’d had access to those comics as a kid! Dammit, I’d be so much more knowledgeable about all of this that I love! I never had cable tv until I was 22 as we lived in a very rural area, no comics, yet somehow,,,I knew of Thor and made cardboard hammers and ran around smashing whatever a cardboard hammer could smash🥴 which is not much...
I love how you say Despitoes explanation I hope that was intentional 😂
Fun fact:Because thor didn't lift the hammer in Age of Ultron because he didn't want thor to be ashamed in all of the members of the avengers and that is what we call "WORTHY"
3:08 Am I the only one who hears "Despacito"? 😂😂😂
The reason is because he was hiding the death of Tony’s parents from tony
Fan theory but Marvel writers say differently
when he said that 9:24-9:46 confused me cause when odin said that if someone held the hammer they would posses the power of thor so it made total sense Captain America was summoning lightning
what was missing in avengers endgame
me: Fifa world cup 2022
The reason cap could use of lightning because that is the power of Thor like Odin said in the enchantment
Vision is an AI, he’s not human or an alien, therefore the rules of the hammer don’t apply to him
He still has human tissue though
Ggtr Uuhgtrr it doesn’t matter, since he’s an AI the rules don’t apply, he used to be part of a program on a computer until he was uploaded into some form of a body with an infinity stone
CrimsonYT yea, they can lift it, but only those worthy, Thor and Captain America, can summon it and use its full power
ye he can lift it but not summon lightning like an elevator can move the hammer it can't summon lightning
@@spidermoon3574 yes ultron also could have lifted it if he wanted
The reason cap can control lightning in endgame is quite simple the enchantment Odin put on it was Whosoever holds this hammer, if they be worthy shall possess the power of Thor. It says if you are worthy you would be able to do what cap did.
Undoubtedly he did. He could’ve lifted the hammer when he and Thor first met, if he really wanted to.
Why are you here
I feel like tony should be able to lift miljnior either after he made Mark 85 or after he snapped his finger and didn’t die. This is because in an interview it’s stated that iron man specifically made the mark 85 knowing that it would save the universe as it can hold the infinity stones but also would kill tony himself. this shows that he was willing to make a sacrifice similar if not more than captain America
Don’t y’all think that this is kinda late ?
im only turning on notifications because they are the first youtubers to accurately show how to turn on notifications
I think that they still have mjolnir only bc they already created a alternate universe but maybe something happens that he feels he doesnt need it or she does need it
Correct me if I'm wrong:
The Space Stone can transport the bearer to any place in the universe...but it does not transcend realities..right?
If so, Loki did not reappear in an alternate universe, only a different location in the same universe.
Loki was supposed to go back to asgard on endgame. But him being able to escape and not go into asgard makes another reality where loki is in another place after the events of the first avengers.
The plot of that movie didn't need him to yet
Jonah G wym didn’t need him to yet?? Your wrong, they did need him to cause that was his last movie. And his friend Thor was literally on the brink of death, he can’t let his friend die!! And especially since this was Captain’s last move since he went back to his original time to have that dance with the women he loves, and marries her, now he’s grown old and won’t be fighting anyone, so the Endgame Battle scene was his only chance, plus is was soooo dope seeing fight to his full potential, (if that was his best)
@@daviddoyodance3085 it was a joke...
And I meant the plot didn't need him to lift it in Age of Ultron, not Endgame
@David Do Yo Dance stfu you dumbass
*This would save you some time:*
Cap couldn't lift it earlier because he wasn't worthy enough, also, the mjolnir didn't think cap needed a lot of power ,he knew they could do it
In endgame however ,thor is about to die , without Thor noone could lift the hammer ,that's where cap needed power, to save his friend,
When I saw this I couldn't resist watching it cuz before I clicked on it the title was too long and it only showed "why cap waited to lift thors ham..."
Iron Man sacrifice his life every time when Alien invade but he still can’t pick up the hammer.
Yeah but that's because Tony is still part dick, Cap is all hero.
@@Metaljacket420 ... Perfect comment....
Whoever lift this Hammer will possess the power of Thor odins words when he banished thor in his first movie
1 Tony sacrificed himself at the end of Avengers
2 Groot sacrificed himself for his gang in 1st Guardians
3 Hella held the hammer before busting it.
4 At a day old Vision held it.
Hell groot wasnt around to try to lift and hela it was her weapon
Stealing someone else's thunder isn't worthy and Cap knew he already was, just was modest enough not to prove the point when the time came. He lifted it only when it became necessary.
Tony sacrifices himself twice. Your logic is incomplete.
freakfly23 The first time he was going to “sacrifice” himself was for the fame and recognition that would have came with it, it really wasn’t going to be done for the greater good (although, it was foreshadowing his change).
@@thebeast9606 He didn't brag that he would sacrifice himself. On the contrary, he said that he wasn't the guy to sacrifice himself.
@@freakfly23 Okay, he did brag about his act of saving people, but yes, he did say that, and with that you just proved my point that he wasn't worthy because he wouldn't sacrifice himself for the greater good like Steve Rogers showed he would when he jumped on the grenade.
Imagine skinny steve wielding mjolnir.
Bro what iron man should’ve been able to pick it up than 😂
He is , he just didn’t
Ego was the reason Thor lost his worthiness of his hammer. So, being that said ... ego was in all of them in Age of Ultron. Meaning, ego automatically makes you not worthy. Truth, honor and sacrifice is what made Capt. worthy at that precise time. Imo 😉
@nikola poyukov He checked his ego at the door by the end of Thor I. So no.
If this applies and is true, then Tony Stark should have been able to lift the hammer. After the wormhole event.
Not really. After that event Tony bragged about savjng the day. If you're going to brag about something like that then you're really not that worthy. Also, Tomy creating Ultron didn't really help his chances of being worthy.
Yah Ikr
@@insertnamehere2746 *cough* Thor brags about his exploits all the time....
@@egor102 All the time? No he doesnt.
troly poly so wait, sacrificing yourself to save 7 people outweighs sacrificing yourself to save millions of people as long as you don’t brag later?
And if you’re referring to AoU when he bragged about the wormhole nuke in NY, then he was illustrating the necessity of having Ultron rather than bragging about what he did imo
Cap wasn’t trying to pick it up while tony was really trying but cap didn’t really care about
If Ironman survived the snap, he would’ve been able to lift the hammer too.
no
Tony was sacrificing himself for the world WAYYYYY before endgame lol so no
Most important thing you forgot: *You can't just Wiggle Mjolnir, you either can pick it up completly or not at all.* So Cap faked it , in order to keep Thor's pride high. That's what makes him worthy
BECAUSE THE DIRECTORS CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT AND EXPLAIN LATER. THATS WHY!!!!
He may be worthy but I am the only Thor: god of thunder.
Thor Odinson not funny
Thor holds mjolnir cap weilded it like a true warrior to its fullest ..thats why hes such a bad ass to me .hes a fighter and a intelligent one.a fighter without fear whether wins or loses
Its either worthy or unworthy. You cant be half worthy
If this is true Tony Stark should be able to wield Mjolnir.
@@HoichiTheEarless When he invaded the frost giant realm, the hammer was not enchanted meaning anyone could lift it, we have no idea if Thor could lift the hammer or not when he became an alcoholic video gamer because the hammer was destroyed and stormbreaker wasn't enchanted, when he did lift the hammer when he went back in time he had just spoken to his Mum, take in what she said and realised what he had to do, he realised that he couldn't carry on drinking and being lazy which for most people takes a lot of will power and when he made Heimdall betray Odin Thor was actually right, Odin said himself at the end of The Dark World that Thor would be a wiser King meaning even Odin realised Thor was right so really yes, at those moments it makes sense for the hammer to have answered to him
In the movie Thor, odin said "who ever must be worthy shall possess the power of thor" and that's how he used lightning in end game
He didn't lift it cause if he did "HULK SMASH"
He could shoot lightning and stuf because of the enchantment Odin put on it "whoever's worthy enough to weild this hammer you shall grant him the power of thor"
That's cool even Tony was ready to die in all avengers movie why can't he pick up?
Because Tony is a billionaire, playboy, philanthropist
You think worthiness is defined by self sacrifice? Check my reply a few posts up...
Being willing to die for the things you care about is actually a far greater grey area of morality etc than a first glance will lead you to expect.
He could’ve lifted it in age of ultron the directors already confirmed it but he didn’t want to show off, dude is humble
Why you took 15 mins to say something which can be toll in 2 mins
well he had to get 10 mins somehow lol
That last point of wielding the lightning, Was actually covered with Odin’s words..
Because he didn’t want to ruin Thor’s ego back then but because he already ruined it himself in endgame by getting fat and drunk he could lift if in front of everyone without ruining his ego because it’s already ruined
3:13 in order to understand Despacitos explanation - I see what you did there
He waited because the plot demanded that he waited. No need for a 15 minute video over analyzing it 🙄
answer: he didn't wanna felx on thor too hard
The reason why is because he wasn't ready to lift up the hammer yet.
Treyvon Williams I read that the reason was he didn’t want to embarrass Thor in front of everyone
@@planetsmarf9969 Thats like If Thor was holding Cap shield and he didn't embarrass Steve Rogers.
I believe Captain America was always worthy, Mjolnir knew he wasn't ready to wield it yet...
So if tony survived the snap wouldn’t he be worthy since he gave his life for his family and his team?
Technically yes, possibly still has some ground rules like "was he always a self sacrifice kind of person", before but who knows.
K
Hey this is my brother and his soooooo stupid like if you i gree
And the world
No buddy it wasn't a sacrifice
This went from a cap vid to a thor vid real quick
because fan service stop analyzing stuff that dont exist
Thank you!!!!!!!!
Cap waited Because He did Not Wanted to hurt thors feelings👍
According to your criteria Tony Stark should be able to wield the hammer. Coz he sacrificed.
5:57
When u finally find out what CBR means
He wasn’t worthy until the end of civil war. MANS WAS HIDING THE SECRET OF WHO KILLED TONY’S PARENTS
He was worthy in Age of Ultron he actually budges to hammer and then immediately stop so as not to embarrass Thor.
So if Stark comes back, he can lift the hammer? Cuz he snapped and killed thanos sacrificing himself..
in theory yes
Before I watch this I am going to make a few wild guess...
1.He was not worthy until he told Tony about his parents and Bucky.
2. In Age of Ultron he didn't want to embarrass Thor...or his friends...(he didn't want to hurt Thor's feelings of him being the only one worthy to lift it...)
Who else just wants to whatch MCU all over
Already did man totally worth it!
@@legendaryjayy24 man I'm gonna start from Avengers though 😁
