This year coming up will be the year he’s full healthy and fully realizes his potential as an all-nba defensive player, as well as best two way player, replacing Kawhi Leonard.
@@ShawnBayyyyy I see wat you did there. And I like it. He my fave magic player and big chume lol. I say we get Hendricks or ausar at 6 and a shooter Hawkins or Grady at 11
This shit is depressing b/c even in the tiny bit we did get to see him play this year, you can obviously see the talent and impact are still there. Not optimistic about him staying healthy but hoping I'm wrong.
@@agua9999 he had season-ending left adductor surgery in March. It's not serious and he might actually be fully healed/doing workouts right now, but it's one thing after another with him. They were playing him barely 10 minutes a night and no back-to-backs and it still happened. Should be ready to go at the start of next season but it's just one injury after the next, so it's hard to be optimistic long-term with him.
The abductor of injury is probably just a case of his body being unused to the rigors of the NBA. The medical staff had him on a strict minutes restriction in his return for a reason, after all. It would be a different story if he hurt his knee again.
I get Jonathan Isaac on every team I play with in NBA 2K Franchise mode, affectionately calling him "Jisaac". The game doesn't care that he's injury prone, and I get to see what a 6'10 guy with a 7'4 wingspan who moves like a small forward would do if he wasn't hurt. He has an 87 in perimeter defense, which makes no sense considering how big he is. And his lesser inside defense is offset by that size. Add an 83 in blocks (with the height, wing, and 85+ help D) with a 93 in steals (4th highest in the game), plus 85-89 ratings in pass perception, PnR defense, and defensive consistency, plus an 80 in lateral quickness on the body size I mentioned. Long story short, he can literally guard anybody, and I get him just because I know I'll have to face Milwaukee eventually. I'll be winning by 28 against somebody like NY on HoF, wondering why I am up so much with nobody really going off. Then I notice Julius Randle is 5-23 with 4 turnovers, and that Isaac has 2 steals and 4 blocks. He basically shifts the course of the game by whatever else he gives you because he takes away their main weapon--even lob threats--so if he happens to get 12 points and 9 rebounds just of being tall and making a few putbacks and spotups, all that becomes bonus. I said all that to say I really wish he was healthy in real life so I could see this once-a-generation defender win DPOYs. I mean, the one season he was almost healthy, he averaged like 2.6 steals and 2.3 blocks per 36 minutes, and I can't even do that in 2K.
Last injury was the least of them but I know as a fan it hurt. We should just spend the 6th pick on JI insurance. There’s two players in this draft with similar skill sets
I'm telling you he got beat off the dribble and still managed to steal the ball while his man is blowing pass him😂,if JI can stay healthy this season he definitely winning the dpoy award
Rockets need to make this trade asap we got a gang of scoring guards we desperately need front court defense a rim protector slwho can rebound Issac is that

He’s not refined enough to be like kawhi on the offensive end I’m a big fan of ji but he’s not there yet
Man I sure hope so, I wanted him to get drafted by Denver all those years ago.
😢
Man he's a defensive beast when healthy! Damn what could have been if he wasn't so injury prone😢
Watch out next year🚀
Jonathan is a good player and an even more awesome community member🙏😇
the fact he reinjured himself man, this compilation deserves to be way longer 😪
Question is was it a serious injury or were we going to play ourselves out of a lottery pick with him?

jonathan isaac Rocks. Stay strong.
Sucks because whenever he’s on the court. He has a huge impact. Hoping he gets better and can play a full healthy season
He instantly clogs the offense and throws them off rhythm. Cheat code

What happened ? Did he get injured ? When ?

@@drew25kra yikes. Hope he makes a full recovery & stays healthy & stops getting re-injured

Very well said. 👏🏼

AD , isaac , JJJ , draymond green , evan mobley melhores defensores da liga .
Bam Adebayo?

Well sed... I even put him up against big pg just to mess up the offense bit yea he was a main stay on my teams also
A lineup of Fultz, Franz, Paolo, Hendricks and Issac during certain rotations would be a perfect blend of offense and defense.
Yes! And don't forget Jordan Hawkins!!🙌
Jonathan Isaac stands for Christ and for America!
Honestly this last injury should be the nail in his coffin.

We need him on the Knicks
Modern day AK-47 !!!
Hoping for a healthy season LFG Judah 💪💪
a real american role model. gotta love the guy.
This guy is a defensive savant

When healthy can be one of the best defenders or the best wishing him nothing but the best
Hope he stay healthy because if he do he will be a beast at backup center, Isaac has to be about 7'1
Im pretty sure hes 6’10
GSG. See you in San Antonio
i hate injury prone players man. not them but the concept you know. seeing glimpses and not the full potential hurts to watch
We Need Him On The Warriors 🙏🏾
