It doesnt work on many samsung models, including mine the S9plus. It doesnt show the pointer on the phone, only in the huion app. Something that must be said.
Just spend more time with the digital stuff. I only like traditional art with paper and my reliable pens but you can Crank out a lot of nice little sketches on digital. I only use my iPad and apple pencils but I will thinks your buying this one for Photoshop stuff. Great video!
Thanks for this review! It was helpful. I received my XP-Pen Star G640S V2 . the G640S is also supporting Android devices. After connecting the tablet cable connectors to the type C hub I connected it to the phone. The XP-Pen tablet mirrored my phone screen. Seems to work quite normally, no lag or anything. I tested the digital pen with Sketchbook and it register the input. it works well .

I'm the one who desperate to make my phone appear the cursor because I want to draw. But I discover this method can appear the cursor on your samsung phones using Huion Pen Tablet. It is "not arrow type cursor" but "a small circle appear on my phone just like a small circle cursor on Samsung Note series with S pen". But anyway, I just remember clearly. All I did is to make your phone "Reset". I mean you shouldn't have bought the tablet in the first place cause the description (on Amazon) clearly says it doesn't support apple and samsung. (Since Apple has its own pencils and samsung has a note series I guess)

It's doesn't come with an Lightning adapter, and the manual specifically states that it works with Android devices. You're totally right though, that would be an awesome alternative to a $100 Apple Pencil.

I think I know why it didn't work on your phone. The phone must be Android 6.0 or higher, and some phones manually require you to turn on the otg. You can do this through settings. I hope this helps in case you want to go back to trying on your old phone. (Also otg is normally under the "system" tab!)

Woooah, that looks super cool! It could help the android users without pressure sensivity to draw digitally more often ^^ When I first learned there is something like digital art I didn't really have a drawing tablet (only a really old one my dad once bought and we played with it a bit, but I didn't and still really don't cosider it a proper tool as it doesn't even work properly :')). As I had a normal 'pc' tablet (the one you can use for watching videos/playing games etc.) and I really wanted to try digital art, I started my research in drawing apps and my final choice was MediBang Paint :) Nevertheless, it's really hard to draw without pressure sensivity so desperately I was looking for a way to 'turn it on' or something (young, naive me 😂). Then I learned that there are in fact phones and tablets with pressure sensivity, but: 1.they are kind really pricey for me 2.drawing tablets are the 'proper', traditional way to do digital art. So I bought a rather cheap Wacom One (100zł, which is less than 25$) in size Medium (and I still love it ❤). Still hopeful, naive me was trying to connect it to the phone, but it didn't work :') But what I wanted to say is that MediBang is a really good program available for both mobile devices and pcs, it's my favourite actually :) Sometimes I'd still colour some traditional sketches, kind of like you did, on my phone with a finger or a stylus for touch screens ^^ Overall I still have a barrier with digital art, mainly because I don't practice enough; I don't know whether it's because of the effort to set it up, or because of how hard it is to get into for me compared to traditional art. But seeing videos like this and all the beautiful art on the internet, for sure gives a motivation 💞 :)
Oh oh and also @kenya_illian_art (on instagram) is a pro in drawing on a phone without the pressure sensitivity, it's seriously insane 💞😱 (look for her older works, cause się recently uses an iPad :') but still her work is amazing ❤)
Hey, wanna ask what is the perfect screen size to draw with a pen tablet? Cuz if you use a very wide screen (like samsung s21) the line and shapes that u draw will turn out slightly different

@@domochii4427ohh yeah I don't think there's a way to turn it on there... I looked around in the settings, and there ARE things for styluses but I don't see anything for a cursor, sorry.. If I were you I'd probably switch to another app that does show the cursor, so you can use your tablet. It'll be a weird change at first but it'll prOBably be worth it

The reason it may not have worked on your older phone is because the tablet only supports android devices 6.0 and up

Try medibang paint and ibis paint x. They are the ones i use and in my Opinion ther are better than any other drawing apps available for android.

i don't think the graphic tablets will support apple devices cuz they are mostly promoting their apple pencil and ipads that supports the pencil

I think it has to do with brand of the phone. Cause mine is samsung and it works fine except it didnt have also the cursor.

it's not your battery ... it's your phone version ... i've heard that if you want to plug in the OTG adapter you must be android version 6.0 or above
