Just a note about anisotropic filtering, the way you describe what it does in the video isn't entirely correct. Your mention about it being angled surfaces is sort of correct though. It doesn't increase the quality of textures, rather it preserves them at an angle over a distance. The best way to see it doing what it supposed to is by standing on a flat surface like a road. I had a similar issue a while back, was caused by the SSD that was dying.
Any idea how to boost in game sound. My music can be so loud that its unbearable, finish task mod are also super loud... in game sound is so bad and low
You have a slider for everything, I have overall volume at 60, Interface at 40, Chat and Music 0, Hideout 30.
my dlss doesnt work for performance and ultra performance why? these 2 are disabled for me
I think it depends on resolution, I can do performance on 2k, I think ultra performance is for 4k monitors.
i have 3060ti ryzen7 5800x and dont have 60 fps... now try this guide..
I have a 1080 and an i7 4790k. Just followed your older guide to a tee. should i try FSR to see if i get more frames or is it not worth it?
You dont have anything to lose, definetly helped me out a lot with my 1070!
get 5800x3d and a suitable mobo. Then watch the magic. 5800x3d Cheapest best upgrade for old rigs. FSR looks terrible imho. You get frames in the cost of pixels.
@@therealsoulbringer i tried FSR it ran the same but looked like shit. Like i had no AA.
Does anybody have any issues when looking at puddles on the ground, it has like a film grain/visual noise that's happening? I'm not sure how to fix it...
Might be just SSR being on "LOW"?
Tried All the settings and it's all the same, It's when the light is on a puddle, i think it could just be the game.. not sure though@@FLINNest
@@BlizzardGames_ Weird, could be something in your nvidia settings maybe overriding something in game?
Just double checked with some people, It's just the game lol, when light hits the puddle it just has some noise/film grain, super unfortunate but yeah@@FLINNest
very good video
Thanks! 👊
i have a 4090 and an i9-13900k. w a 4k monitor, with that being said, i play at 1440, is this a bad idea? should i switch to 4k
I imagine the image quality will be much better but I have no idea how big of a hit you will take on your framerate, but only one way to find out!
HELL YEAH
Hey man you mention digital vibrance in the video but you do not have it shown anywhere. What digital vibrance/gamma settings etc do you use in the nvidia control panel?
ffs, I totally forgot... Thanks for reminding me!
I use 70% Digital Vibrance and +1.2 Gamma, Brigtness and Contrast are +50%! 👊
i own 4090 and i tried resampling on 2 and 4 and my gpu usage went frome 30 to 70 - 80 cpu lowered and fps went like 50 frames up
Good stuff!
Damn that's good, i've got 4080 and my fps didn't change at all (but usage grow also from 30% to 80%). I guess it is true, that this is works for some, but not for everyone
Hi Flinn! Do you have a separate streaming PC?
Nope, single PC streaming and recording.
@@FLINNest damn! And you can still stream and record on Streets? That's nice!
спасибо тебе, стало гораздо приятнее играть
honestly nvidia dlss quality looks like a TAA or FXAA "high" so i will probaly use dlss rather TAA cause it still smooth the edges
Is there anyway of having nvidia reflex on without capping fps at 60 on stash?
Don't think so, why do you need uncapped frames in stash though?
@@FLINNest It makes the stash managment smoother, is so laggy for me with nvidia reflex on so i keep turning it on or off if im in raid
Keep in mind that there's a 60fps cap for the menu in the game, I don't know if you can uncap it but for me is impossible, It doesn't bother me tho.
@@aegis5861 If you have 144Hz monitor you can activate vsync and uncap the fps on lobby, that is what i do
Courious so my game stutters from time to time which isnt that bad, the annoying part though is when i ads which seems to freeze the game for a second or two
Make sure your game is on an SSD, that eliminated most of my stutters back in the day, also adding virtual memory might help you out a bit!
Check this for the virtual memory stuff and other optimizations outside of the game - th-cam.com/video/OGRH01hx0yc/w-d-xo.html
i wonder when people are going to realize that if you try it at offline mode it means you found best settings for the OFFLINE MODE as it should be. Alrigth? but still thank you for the help that you tried to give
Probably when they watch the first 20 seconds of the video.
@@FLINNest i know, its not you im mad its the tarkov as you can guess brother
THX FOR ALL
Thanks for watching! 👊😎
"In case you forgot what grass looks like"...ouch I feel targeted
i have a 3080 and a ryzen 3950x and even on low settings i’m getting 40-60fps consistently and dropping to 30s if i scope in with a variable. i dont know what is wrong, anyone able to help?
I think its just your CPU, its not good enough.
@@FLINNest a 3950x isn’t good enough?!?! that’s wild to me since it’s 16 cores, 32 threads and was pretty much top of the line only like 2-3 years ago. damn well maybe this video will be the difference i need
@@lemoncarton3004get an X3D amd and your problem will be solved i had a 3700x and upgraded to a 5800X3D and gained 40-60 extra FPS not even kidding
i have 12600, 4070, 32ram and 40-50 fps on low settings. i just dont understand why...
Try the 2x super sampling, helps some with the 40 series cards!
Radeon 6700xt. I get a weird blur around trees and bushes when I move at all, anybody familiar with this issue and maybe a fix?
Some say FSR and DLSS can cause ghosting, I personally dont experience that but you can try and switching FSR off if you have it on.
@@FLINNest I’ll check it out! Thanks. Ghosting might be what I’m seeing, it’s like the trees and bushes get a dark blur around them anytime my mouse moves, and when I stop my mouse it goes away instantly
guys my native monitor resolution its 1920x1080 (16:9), i was playin in 1600x900, because i thought was gonna increase fps, its just not worth it to do that?
It should be the last thing you change if you really need the frames, for visibility native resolution is best!
my game never seems to use my gpu 100%, any help?
Turn up the graphics, it never really uses 100% for me either.
Nvidia reflex introduces latency, for some reason you get better frametimes if you turn on vsync in tarkov, off in nvidia.
to the contrary, reflex reduces it
@@Adrian.A.V. turn on some kind of perfomance counter like rivatuner and you will see that vsync gives you less latency than nvidia reflex, at least in tarkov

Kinda sick of games where you need to be semi prof. Graphics designer just to get the shit in a decent playable state. Same was with CS, now Tarkov ... Rinse and repeat... Thx for the vid that saves us quite a lot of annoyance!
You don't, just hit up TH-cam.
I have a 3050 Ti I run around 50 fps on most maps, I am supposed to have 8gb of Vram but my system says I only have 512mb is this normal? my memory is also always 98% usage, going to get more RAM for that.
Tarkov is a CPU heavy game, and streets generally wants more than 8gb if it can get it, 32gb of ram highly recommended for Tarkov!
32 V-ram
Should i use high texture quality?
Pretty sure there are no GPUs with 32gb of vram!
@@FLINNest Oh
My fault
I mixed up V-ram and Ram
6 gb of vram
I should use low texture?
@@nikkel5887 I wouldn't go over medium in that case!
Turning on CPU Turbo Boost helped me maintain a steady 80fps on a rtx 3070 laptop, but I'll be damned to game on a 90°C CPU temp LOL
Free source of heat! 🤷♂️
@@FLINNest wait untill you hear I live in a place where air conditioners are bench marked 😭😭 if they can stand the heat of summer, you've got a damn good AC unit, it becomes a pleasantly warm 41°C... At midnight...
whats your spec and settings?
I likw how when there is a 4% difference in fps he calls it "pretty considerable" 😂
