She is my now my number one hero...As converting this to an RV...Really does take some effort. And she is right. Save everything in one piece.. You need to use them as a template. Will make your life way easy...
Thank you very much for sharing your process with this build. I got pretty much the same exact 1996 F150 club wagon, and it's for sure a pain in the ass!! I feel your pain in labeling all the wires and probably removing some that might've been necessary. I feel more encouraged to keep moving forward and building this van out because of this video. Keep up the creativity, my dude. Excited to see your next build.
Like a Greek taco, you're my gyro. I enjoyed your filmed version of stream of consciousness. The whole, I don't give a shit about giving a shit works so well. Taking your lead. While wearing steel toed flip flops and a wife beater, I turned my tricycle into a high bread rv thanks to your inspiring lack of inspiration. Hope to see you on SNL soon. Merica damnit!!
It looks like it was coming along pretty well. I thinks it’s important to be adaptable but to also know yourself and your own needs and wants. You made a good call switching to what you wanted more. I keep looking at the smaller vans but am holding out until I find the extended version I really want. I can’t live without a tool “shed” in the back so I need the extra length. Cool build.
Wow! Very creative ideas. You are so young to know how to do all this stuff. I never knew what a drill was until I was 45! Can’t wait to implement some of what you did, especially Gorilla gluing the shit out of everything!
My son had the same issue with seat bolts. Spent most of the day with an impact gun. We used a breaker bar socket wrench in the end. If you need to drill through metal with ease Menards sells Bosch cobalt drills. For just a few bucks they're the best. Great job on the van!
Make sure you catch them nuts. Mine feel out on top of that 35 gallon gas tank..I spent 2 hours fishing for them with a magnet..As them two nuts rattle something awful....
Wow, by far this is the most detailed video I have seen. Thank you for that. I am trying to build mine out and I am more confident to build mine out. Thank you
Hey! Just for clarification im on the framing part adding the wood to the ribs of the wall.you used the, 1 7/16” screws? Im scared of screwing a hole in the wall so I want to make sure that size works, this part of the build is frustrating to me🤣
Love your video and presentation! "Silicone the shit out of the Vantastic van edging" Haha. Kudos you're a hard worker and it shows. Happy travels, greetings from Albuquerque 😃
Hi thank you for this video. I have the exact same van and I don't know if I would keep all the wires or just cut them off. How did you cut them off? I am clueless about electricity. What do you do with the heater and a/c unit in the back?
I tried my best to track what each of the wires was responsible for. It was such a headache 😣. My Rex would be to bring it to a mechanic because they can safely skim down the wires to only the necessary ones. Thanks for watching!
Yup, this van had a high top. In most high tops there is a layer of plywood imbedded in the fiberglass. I used a standard drill bit and a jigsaw. I was thinking about adding solar before I sold it
you made to much stuff on it when it already to go ... dah its convinience rather than adding on wood all over .. lol I have a 93 ford e150 just took it to california Utha arizona and colorado just the way they are zazz.
i dont get it. people that do these kind of builds why r they so fixed on making a big ass bed/bed frame that goes from 1 side to thee other. takes up almost the whole space of the van. makes no sense. i wouldve gone wit a biger van the extended e-series van to liv in. its all about saving money n stop paying rent
When making van videos, instead of explaining beforehand, Just explain as you're building and show us as you go. That'll shorten the video.🤔🤔🤔 Some videos just build and don't talk at all.
Perfect! How not to do a van build! OR, how to show people how to NOT do a van build ... I guess, maybe, I'm not sure ... ZERO planning... I have no idea why you wanted to show people this. BUT, it kinda looks ok... until you quit! WTH????
I can't believe you ruined that perfectly good camper van interior. Those are hard to find and vintage is awesome, you should have just used it and enjoyed it.
“Silicone the shit out of it.” & “Gorilla glued the shit out of it.” By far my favorite van build quotes 😂 thanks for the info.
Thanks for the explanation on how you did the floor and walls. That's the one piece that I haven't seen!
I came for the van build, I stayed for the profanity. Great video!

I'm trying to convert mine(i have the same van) and this gave me a good idea of the dimension, and precisely what I can fit.
Me too! Nice and simple!

I’m impressed you did this on your own
You did an awesome job and I hope to see your next build.

Wow, by far this is the most detailed video I have seen. Thank you for that. I am trying to build mine out and I am more confident to build mine out. Thank you
You did a great job! Can’t wait to see your new van!
Great Ideas and impressive work. Buying a 250 when I come back to the states to rebuild.
Wait - at first I was pretty impressed! Then 15 minutes later I realized it was wasted time. Why’d you do that to us?! 🤣
Very nice build! Thanks for the video.
thanks! we just got a deal on a van and it also needs some work, this is helpful, thanks for sharing your learnings!

The wires!!! 😤 I feel that
Hahaha. ...."I gorilla glued the shit out of it"
Love the video, "i watched the shit out of it!!" Lmao
Hey, I like your videos! I wonder how much you paid for the van???
Love your video and presentation! "Silicone the shit out of the Vantastic van edging" Haha. Kudos you're a hard worker and it shows. Happy travels, greetings from Albuquerque 😃
You're awesome ✌️❤️ thanks for the video and walk through.

Nice vid, hope she’s serving you well
Did you not watch the end?? 🙄🙄🙄
Hehehe
You are so cool. You did a great job
The roof is made of fiberglass, right? What would you need to drill hole and cut through it? Do you plan on adding solar panels or racks on the roof?
Yup, this van had a high top. In most high tops there is a layer of plywood imbedded in the fiberglass. I used a standard drill bit and a jigsaw. I was thinking about adding solar before I sold it
Где вы покупаете запасные части на такие машины
Yo this is a real ass fucking video hell yeah
What did you do with the mess of wires? I have the same van and my wires are such a mess and my fuse box isn't attached 😥
Haha such a headache right? I ended up just bringing it to the mechanic to sort it out. I didn’t want to risk messing with the electrical system.
How big was the bed in this van?
i wish i knew you personally, so i could get you to work on my E-150
do you have pictures of the wiring from the conversion van? I cut some of mine and really need your pictures
🙄
@@ShandeleReynolds What year.. I have the Ford High top manual. That the conversion company supplies....
Next time go to ikea for bed braces
Cool

Was excited to watch your video but when you started swearing I was wishing you hadnt made that part of your video. You seem sweet though.

Great video on what not to do .
You got a dislike, not because of your build, but because of your foul language. I had to shut it off because my grandkids are here.
Boring.. Waste of my time
Boring
profanity
