I got all the marvel cmfs. I didn't like and/or finish Moon Knight, She Hulk, Echo, X-Men '97, What If? and Werewolf by Night. Just because you don't like a series or any form of media doesn't mean that you can't enjoy characters from a design aspect. I think She Hulk was the best fig right next to Moon Knight in that cmf, but her show was garbage. I'm allowed to like the fig and hate the show. ANYONE is allowed to have that opinion.

Honestly, as bad as this show was, I really would’ve liked some minifigures of the characters from the show just because of how good the designs were. Basically my entire Star Wars collection is just 4 full sets & about 100 or so loose minifigures I like because the designs are cool out of context.
I’m fairly sure that only one droid is in the entire show. Nothing in this show felt like Star Wars, the Jedi didn’t act like Jedi, the sith didn’t act like sith and people didn’t really act like real people
Ki Adi Mundi is supposed to be wrong in TPM. That’s the point of his character. He is a representation of the Jedi’s arrogance because despite saying the Sith haven’t been around for 1,000 years, we the audience KNOW the Sith are back from the start of the movie

But overall he was wrong and arrogant because collectively all Jedi believed that for a long period time. it’s more believable that their arrogance grew from actually not seeing or hearing from them within that millennia, over say a whole sect of Jedi died to something sith related that was less than the time stated and a whole religion believed this so why wasn’t it mentioned if it happened more recently than originally stated. The timeline just was getting messed with in more than one way for very mild reasons

bec lego knew the numbers of the seq set sales (lets be honest they werent good) from a busines point its unwise to make merch for things that the fans really dont want of like. u can make shows for sertain people but if those people dont buy merch it wil only end up at ollies. lego wants to make money and this show even before it aired they made it clear what it would be... but no one was prepared for how bad it really was. Now skeleton crew so far didnt nothing to make it bad and space ships are always a seller.

I wouldn't mind seeing some LEGO sets from the Acolyte and I actually love some of episodes from the show and I could actually see PIT being turned into a LEGO set like they did with the other Droids they've done in the past like R2, BD-1, and BB-8 and the new droid from the show did get ratings from the Fandom.
The show would work.much better as a feature film. There were some scenes just to extend the time, but otherwise, there was good character progression and motivation. But what I really enjoyed were some of the scenes like rampaging wookie jedi, anything with Quimer... but seeing the kyber crystal bleed was reaaaly cool

I can't tell if it's actually clever or just thinks it's clever and there's loads of things that make zero sense! ...Darth Teeth is really cool though, he's the best character and has the best scenes! Mae's arc was rushed and unexplained. Osha's arc was rushed and not explained. Sol's arc was rushed and not explained. Should I go on? They crammed a whole story into 8x30 minute episodes one of which was basically a copy of the first episode. Nothing was explained in this show, who the heck was smiley? Why did he turn evil? Why was he not really evil? I have so many questions. Also can they get away from the Skywalker saga? That Yoda cameo at the end was unnecessary.
Yoda would be the only necessary thing, since he was alive for that era. But the acolyte itself is completely unnecessary and inconsequential to the overall Saga
This show made me realize that I don’t just like the other shows and Sequel trilogy out of fanboy bias. 😂 I hope this show gets a second season though, because I do see potential. If they can even out the kinks, it could be great!

I have a lot to say, I mean, first off, I really agree with most of this, but for the most part I really enjoyed the show, sure there were still things I didn't enjoy, like the twins (well I guess they're the same person) and the weird structure, but I also really liked Sol and Qimir, of course my favorite episode was the 5th. But honestly the Finale really ruined it for me, blaming it all on Sol, the sort of swap for Mae and Osha and more, (but mostly that), but I also enjoyed the Corrupting of the Kyber Crystal even if I didn't really understand why she did it, anyway, it was kind of a roller coaster, but I'd still be disappointed if we didn't know how it ended. Plus I really want a set with Sol and Qimir (that helemt would be so cool in Lego).

The only thing worse than the show itself was the dialogue online. The rage-mongering from content creators was so unnecessarily vitriolic. The show wasn't good, but the nit-picking of "canon" and intentional misinterpretations to make a point of how this show "doesn't understand" Star Wars. It was so tiring to hear people be so mad at something so inconsequential to the greater Star Wars story. We aren't contractually obligated to accept, or like, any product as "canon." There's critiquing a show, and there's hating a show. A lot of viewers were not actually trying to criticize this show.
I prefer to criticize the show without watching it. It's the best of both worlds: I get the time savings of not having to learn about and also the dopaminergic thrill of hating something.
honestly i dont want figs from the sequals other than troopers but from this show.. not a penny wil go into this farce of a tv show that trampled my fandom of sw and redconned to much. story bad set design bad battles bad this show had a checklist on how to make worse stuf than subpar. how can this show be so expensive but looks worse than the lord of the rings movies that had lower budget. this series wil exist but wont be rememberd for a good reason.
This show was a chore to watch. Every time I was reminded it was on, I let out a groan because I just didn’t care about it. The trailers misled me from what it was, and each episode was so boring with horrible writing. It was a waste of time and money, and just continues to divide the Star Wars fan base. It’s sad really.

Here’s where you’re wrong about Ki-Adi Mundi: His birthday was never “changed” it was never canon. Everything except for the main 6 movies and the clone wars was made non canon like a decade ago. It was a fake problem made up by people who don’t know the difference between canon and legends. Ki-Adi had no clue about who the Jedi killer was. They were all led to believe it was a Rogue Jedi, which is exactly what Vernestra tells people. It’s a cover up. We already knew Sol, Indara, Kelnacca and Torbin decided not to tell anyone what really happened,so why would Ki-Adi know anything.

I really like the show, it's heavily flawed, but still pretty good in my opinion, it was a LOT better than some of the newer stuff. They really did not just do a lot of member berry stuff, that was one of the major problems with a lot of other recent Star Wars stuff. I really don't think you ever watched another show where characters have complicated relationships and emotions. Obviously the end isn't meant to be where may is good now, they literally joined the Sith.

I'd say that the Acolyte is (aside from massive battles) a lot like the prequels, both in its positives and in its flaws. I think that if it was a full movie then it would be way more popular, however it would probably still be controversial, a bit like the prequels. One of the reasons why it failed so much is because not many people actually watched it due to a lot of the recent fails in Star Wars.

I gave this show a chance and it was just ok at first, but then they throw it all in the garbage in the last few episodes.
Bro that’s one of the worst shows ever made. If I bought Star Wars I would make it not canon along with season 3 of Mando. Calling the show a dumpster fire is an insult to flaming dumpsters.
The only thing worse than the show itself was the dialogue online. The rage-mongering from content creators was so unnecessarily vitriolic. The show wasn't good, but the nit-picking of "canon" and intentional misinterpretations to make a point of how this show "doesn't understand" Star Wars. It was so tiring to hear people be so mad at something so inconsequential to the greater Star Wars story. We aren't contractually obligated to accept, or like, any product as "canon." There's critiquing a show, and there's hating a show. A lot of viewers were not actually trying to criticize this show.
I prefer to criticize the show without watching it. It's the best of both worlds: I get the time savings of not having to learn about and also the dopaminergic thrill of hating something.
honestly i dont want figs from the sequals other than troopers but from this show.. not a penny wil go into this farce of a tv show that trampled my fandom of sw and redconned to much. story bad set design bad battles bad this show had a checklist on how to make worse stuf than subpar. how can this show be so expensive but looks worse than the lord of the rings movies that had lower budget. this series wil exist but wont be rememberd for a good reason.
Easily the worst Star Wars project I have ever seen, honestly I might watch Resistance because I was able to sit through this.

This show was a chore to watch. Every time I was reminded it was on, I let out a groan because I just didn’t care about it. The trailers misled me from what it was, and each episode was so boring with horrible writing. It was a waste of time and money, and just continues to divide the Star Wars fan base. It’s sad really.
Perfectly fine to not like it, I didn’t either. But if you didn’t like it, why did you keep watching it?
@@triforce6434 I like to complete things. See the whole(or most of) picture first before having a final opinion of it. Also my dad enjoys watching the Disney plus shows as a family, so we watch everything to completion together, which is a fun family bonding experience. Even though we both thought it was a poor show, we wanted to finish it to have a complete opinion of it.

Here’s where you’re wrong about Ki-Adi Mundi:
His birthday was never “changed” it was never canon. Everything except for the main 6 movies and the clone wars was made non canon like a decade ago. It was a fake problem made up by people who don’t know the difference between canon and legends.
Ki-Adi had no clue about who the Jedi killer was. They were all led to believe it was a Rogue Jedi, which is exactly what Vernestra tells people. It’s a cover up. We already knew Sol, Indara, Kelnacca and Torbin decided not to tell anyone what really happened,so why would Ki-Adi know anything.

no offence and i agree to a point. but if u want to play it of like this and hey i need to explain this and this and so and so then u are doing the same as the stuf they did with the sequel series and we al know in what fire that ended. for a business this show was bad. this show wont make sales and wont make much merch that wil be sold. and that is simply facts from the numbers. u can justify a lot but legends was mady buy fans that made this so profitable. now u kick them to the curb for narative and suddenly the money is gone. So keep calling it what u want and like it for u want but in the end in 5 years no one wil rember it bec it isnt worth remembering its a footnote in the money grinder disney made.

At some point in the last episode for a second or two, honestly it went pretty quick.
I really like the show, it's heavily flawed, but still pretty good in my opinion, it was a LOT better than some of the newer stuff. They really did not just do a lot of member berry stuff, that was one of the major problems with a lot of other recent Star Wars stuff. I really don't think you ever watched another show where characters have complicated relationships and emotions. Obviously the end isn't meant to be where may is good now, they literally joined the Sith.
this show had 0 normal emotions. and lets say it in the words of this series.the people who like it are few the ones who dislike it are MANY. everyone may like what they want thats the good part but for businesses its simple u dont invest in stuf that the most of the fans dont like 86 and prob more dont like this show. There is a reason where old movies are stil rememberd and watched. this show has been watched and then wont ever be picked up again
I'd say that the Acolyte is (aside from massive battles) a lot like the prequels, both in its positives and in its flaws. I think that if it was a full movie then it would be way more popular, however it would probably still be controversial, a bit like the prequels. One of the reasons why it failed so much is because not many people actually watched it due to a lot of the recent fails in Star Wars.

I’m glad you liked it though! But I think the majority of people who didn’t like it don’t like it because they think it’s a poorly made show. But as long as you liked it that’s all that matters!

Mae started the fire and it was obvious she wasn’t responsible for killing the coven. You see the bodies are not burnt, they’re lying there. We also know Mae is trying to get revenge on those four specific Jedi, one killed themself over it. So the Jedi were clearly involved. No mystery there.

Didn’t like it either, but I think you need to take a step back and realise it’s not. The Holiday Special exists. The Ewok movies exist. The animated Droids stuff from the 80s exists. It’s not even the worst Disney+ live action show. That goes to BOBF.

The crapolyte is a much more fitting title to this garbage show. And I guarantee if they somehow make a season 2. They're going to find a way to ruin Darth plagueis. In my version of the sequel trilogy I'm still writing Darth plagueis is the main villain and I guarantee my version of the character has more respect to him then whatever Disney's going to do.

lets put it like this. u are a fan from something. u loved it al te time then came a company. they hire people who dont care for the ip dont know how to do stuf have no exp in the busines but only want a sertain view or agenda. then with each release they make sure to step by step destoy all the things u loved for no reason. then ad that when they know it is burning they wil blaim the fans that brought the money that made sure this was made and then they blame the fans. thats why the hate. they broke down the bridge that made it and then blaimed others for the burning wreck. In short they burn the one u love then they kick it and blame u. So how would u react. i tried to watch it but when a series thats 50 years older is doing a better job than the new stuf and the numbers show that most people are leaving then u know they beeped up. ask me again in 5 years and this series wil be tossed in the bin and never wil come out. Bolly wood made more entertaining steaming stuf than this and even those are forgettable
