- Spent 2 nights camping and fishing at Rock Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park. We stayed at site #59 which gave us great water access, however the drive up sites have very little privacy, and lakes with accessibility like that usually experience a lot more fishing pressure. Next time we will be doing the backcountry with our kayaks to venture out to more private sites, with much better fishing.
We did well, landed a brook trout, lake trout, lots of smallmouth and rock bass too.
We still had a great time, and they offer canoe rentals too for those interested.
Hopefully this video helps put you on fish if you do plan to go. Don't forget to subscribe to my channel for more Ontario fishing opportunities and info. Cheers, Andrew.
