Finnair IMPRESSED me! How it rescued a FOUR-HOUR delay in ECONOMY

- I flew from Heathrow to Helsinki on a Finnair flight which got off to the worst of starts - a FOUR HOUR delay. Somehow though, Finland's flag carrier turned it all around!

Hats off to you all and the Crew for surviving this tedious delay! Great to hear Finnair turned it around, I must say the snacks and drinks was they least they could do, so pleased to see this being offered. I will definitely book Finnair today for my upcoming trip. Thanks for sharing 👍

Great Video!! Love seeing a young guy not afraid to wear hearing aids! You should do a video about your hearing loss experience. It might inspire others who are worried about getting them!

I try to keep them short but want to include as much important detail as possible - which means including the lounge visits! 🙈 I hope you enjoy your visit to Helsinki! Make sure to head out of the city and check out Seurasaari, an amazing park that features ancient Finnish houses. A real taste of Finland 🇫🇮
How do you find out the age of the aircraft!

Haha! Fear not, it isn't too hard to find it. Just search the aircraft registration on Google and then click on the link that sends you to the planespotters.net or airfleets.net websites 😊
I love T3 you can lounge hop. As One World Emerals the BA and American First lounges are good but the CX lounge and bar is one of the best For Sapphire Silver Members. Also worth a try is the Qantas lounge. It has a gin bar with loads of different gins. But their signature dish of squid is worth a try. Did you get your compensation?
If only more BA flights were in T3, eh?! That would be a dream! Haha. The Cathay lounge sure is incredible. Such a oasis! I'll certainly take your advice and try out the Qantas lounge and its gins if I get the chance. Thanks for the tip 😁
Yes I actually did get my compensation - months later, but I still got it, so I'm happy with that 😊
4 hr delay for such short flight is just unacceptable. For a lot of people, it's enough to throw off and ruin their trip plan.
You're absolutely right. I'm just easily pleased when I'm offered free food, drinks and great service! Haha. Looking back though, it sure is completely unacceptable and hopefully a very rare occurance for Finnair! Fortunately it didn't ruin my plans and I was given compensation a few weeks later. Still though, for many people it could've been so much worse if they had plans.
