Excellent, brought back memories of playing Skiing on the Intellivision many years ago, used to pay it non stop back then. Maybe some ski gates to go through as well as dodging the trees.
I was expecting to use the arrow keys to control skier, but seems to work well with the spacebar instead. Nice work

It looks great! But I feel like it would be cooler for it to be an endless runner type game, and have the player speed get faster over time. Or even add harder obstacles over time

Especially considering that it will be a mobile game, it will make ppl play it a lot more trying to beat their high score rather than there be levels and they complete it eventually. And if you also add some sort of challenges or coin system / maybe character shop that would be cool

Thank you for feedback, yes the endless mode is cool for mobile, agree. I will have to consider it

I love game jams for exactly one thing: you have a game and you can polish it up for releasse. your game looks so good and you made a good job showing it with your video!

Nice devlog, I am looking forward to see how the game looks when it's finished!

The game looks good so far, I'd like to see a sort of Subway-Surfers inspired system for gameplay, where preset obstacle setups are loaded in as you play :)

I also think that it may be more fun if the hitboxes were _slightly_ more lenient 🤣

Maybe some sort of dazed state where you slow down for a second when you hit an obstacle?

I've spent far too long playing this haha

I'd like some sort of drifting ability cos the random obstacle placement makes some parts impossible and i think extra mobility would help

Great feedback, thank you! Will take it in consideration. Yeah the hitboxes are all over the place 😅

This game looks great! I always associate Skate/Ski games with pulling off tricks so it'll be interesting to see how the missions work.

you should make it show which way you are going because sometimes I'm going straight and don't know where I'm going

looks more like a mobile game than a steam game tbh. Make skins, let them collect coins based on the score, add advertisements after X tries. I think it will fit well for the mobile. But whatever suits you best :)

you should do some collab or something with @solomon-gumball , maybe a bundle so people can buy both games at once?
