The metering screws in the Superlative gas block erode very fast, effectively opening up your gas with each round. I’ve had one basically double the gas flow after like 500rds of 5.56. The SLR has been way better for me and those guys will give you extra metering screws if you ask.
They don't seem to ever get much love, but Burris has a nice ffp varmint retical in their Veracity 4-20. Same retical as the old predator quest scopes they made with Les Johnson. It wasn't a great scope, but for the money it had nice features and the retical is one of my favorite I have used.plus the thing has survived being dragged all over the place. I imagine anything in the veracity or veracity ph line has better glass but I haven't looked at them. They are usually a little shorter and lighter than the comparable vortex I have in similar price and mag ranges.
Loaded question, I’d want a new flow through or something with a vented end cap. If this is gonna be a tactical application in stead of hunting I’d look at some of the high use cans.
Little off topic, going to do a 6 arc build, looking at either the proof 14.5 with 1-7.5 twist or noveske 14.5 with 1-7 twist..which barrel would be more accurate , and better for a jack off all trades build?
My sample size of noveske barrels is too small to make that judgement call. I can tell you the 2 or 3 I have shoot well. All my proof barrels have been great .
I own and have used at least a baker’s dozen of different scope brands, but I seem to always come back to running my Zeiss scopes when it counts. Would suggest you try a Zeiss LPR S3 in the 4-25 range and see what you think. If you haven’t tried one already.
My buddy picked up a Nightforce NX8 FR 2.5-20x on a Springfield Redline and it's a great lightweight package. I could see that scope being great on a 6 ARC or 22 ARC AR. I have the 1-8x NX8 on my 6 ARC and I think the 2.5-20x would be a better option.
Please , for us poor people, one of the Arken LPVO's or just any of their stuff . Know y'all love more premium stuff but... again for us poors wed highy appreciate it.. especially since we knwo yall arnt shills and really dont give a fuck and will be honest lol
Speaking on mags I have run the duramag 7.62x39 mags for 6.5 Grendel, 6mm ARC, 6.8 SPC, and of course 7.62x39. The mags specific to each caliber appear to be the same as far as outside dimensions, the difference is the followers and the feed lips towards the front of the mag are SLIGHTLY different. However I’ve had no issues running the 7.62x39 mag for all the listed cartridges above.
All of these suggestions are budget options but ive been curious about optics in this price range. Sig Whiskey4 3x12 Arken LH4 4x16 Primary arms SLX 3x18
Have you guys checked out the RIFLESPEED GAS CONTROL ADJUSTABLE GAS BLOCK? Looks pretty interesting. Nice build can not wait to check it out after break in, and see if you made any changes. Keep up the great work.
I haven’t seen you reference the griffon armament one pc mounts. They are beefy boys but you can get them in 1.35” hight which is great and keeps nerds from raising comb.
Ive used 22-250 for tons of long range stuff for years. as well as coyotes. Its always been an underappreciated round to be honest. Glad to see it getting some revitalized interest with the 22 ARC. Going to have to build me one now.
Just got my barrel in the other day. Put it on my DD M4 V7, running a Trijicon CR828 1-8, only shot 20 rounds so far, but liking it a lot! Going out petty soon, running a clip-on, to put down some piggies or dogs. Found and ordered some VT, and I can't wait to see how they run.
Wade, if you have a wobbly AR Stock, what I like to do is wrap the buffer tube with matte textured carbon fiber vinyl wrap for cars. The texture on the matte carbon variety makes the stock move a bit smoother. I like to wrap to about a tenth of an inch behind my preferred stock position for shooting which helps me find that position quickly as well. Shout me out if you use my tip as this is my own hack! -Kai
Love to see one of the Arkens tested just to get your opinion, doesn't matter which.
Also, tell Magpul we're ready for 6 arc pmags.

Loving that bi-pod. I have one on my rig and it does great
March FX 1.5-15x DFP with a monstrum pro mount.
Maybe one of the steiner mvpo 2.5-15 or 3-18. The kahles k328i would be pretty sweet.

Vudu 5x25 compact is pretty cool. But the Leupold MK5 3.6-18 is the goat.
All you need is irons on that rifle , back in my day… irons are good out till 1200m. You young kids and your magnified optics…
They both have they're place man. But live in the past if you want and get left behind that's on you ;)
😆
Satirical sarcasm my friend
Nightforce 2-20 NX8
Arken EPL-4, it's a 4-16x44 FFP. I know you said you don't really like this magnification but I think you would really like it.
Do you use the gas bleed off option of the superlative arms gas block?
Mostly yes but not on all of them.
Put a black diamond optic LT-6 on it and try it out. You will not be disappointed
Or the 3x15 both have great glass

What’s a good suppressor For my 5.56 ? Ar15 don’t know anything about suppressors.

Jokes on yall it wasn’t a 12 minute talk after all and we totally did that on purpose and didn’t just get caught up in it. 😂
Yea... right...
its just depends........
Don’t like the 12 min talks anyway we need at least 30mm talks 😂
Mhm sure, lol
you have to go watch Jimbo's new douchey challenge. It just keeps getting worse. I couldn't even finish that crap.
@@onebadjack1313 I did , interesting how the challenge has now shifted from its original intent .
Go March 2.5-25. They are small. I've got an older one. I don't understand why they don't get more credit. The 1-10 has an adjustable objective.

Ior Valdada 2-16 or 3-25
And use their one piece mount
Have all your listeners/ viewers bombard Magpul with 6.5 Grendel Magazine requests. Make it deafening for them. Surely they will respond.

Sig DMR 3-18 same weight as the mark 5. I don’t have any experience with it though.

Cool Rifle , but to be honest I’m more interested in the Tikka you have leaning in the corner 👍
NF Nx8 2.5-20x50 pretty please

It’s barrel burner that’s why it only gets love from the varmint hunting community.
22 arc will also be one but less so since less powder capacity
Run the SIG SAUER Tango DMR 3-18x44mm, but for like $200 more you can get a mark 6 3-18
Any comments on the Rifle speed adjustable gas block? Just got one , have yet to install it. field adjustable without any tools needed.
You should troll everyone with an Arken optic.
Lol
My preference is a meopta
Vx6 hd 3-18 x50 is fairly light for what you get. The mark 5 will probably look more at home on a AR rifle though
Can we get a Geisselle GFR 6arc review please?
Coming very very soon !!
Please use the primary arms PLX mount

I would like to see a review on the area 419 mount, with the diving board, for either an Illuminator or impact 4000.
Get one of those Arken Zulus and see how it does
