    I am not able to pry them off. I dont understand how I am supposed to get leverage, do i push against the clamshell to pop them off? I feel like I will damage the clamshell by putting that much force on it. really wish there was a video of someone actually removing it.

  • @willingleby4328
    @willingleby4328 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Thanks, great video but although it’s described as open/close rood manually, you actually only demonstrate the process to
    Repair when the rood is open. In my case, the roof is closed and will not open electronically, and so those ball joints are far less easy to access. Do you have any advice on how to open the roof and repair ball joints when the roof is closed?

    Great video I know how to make my top manual now because I need to do it because the nylon drive gears have correct at least on one of the gear boxes, and I have metal replacements that I bought ahead of time and the top is still working and now that it’s called one of them is cracked so the top won’t go down. My only problem is how do I make my top manual with the top being up because when it happened in the top quit going up and down is when the top was in the upper position because I store the car with the top up so I don’t get wrinkles in the canvas top, but I don’t have any access to unclipping any of those arms because my top is off I’m just wondering how if there’s another way to make it manual with the top up
