    Yo I have to double dip. That’s one of the best other than the Stafford. We do a little gig here in Bristol Rhode Island I posted maybe a year or two back straight English classics no real muscle. That is a show man I am so happy you.Again maté thanks for sharing the ride.

      Hey Roger - no problems. It was probably one of the best shows I've been too. Saying that it's been a few years since I've been to any and many years since I went to the Stafford show.

    Some outstanding machinery there mate. The town where I grew up had an ice cream parlour where they made their own and it was sold by a lady riding one of those Yuno trikes, , or something very very similar back and forwards along the prom

    That little suzuki, gsxr50. Here in Finland we had those but equipped with 2t RM50 based engines. Dont know if any other market had those. Not very popular but the other suzuki, pv50, based directly on the suzuki epo with that same engine sold like hotcakes, tens of thousands and the funny thing is that suzuki was going to cancel that model in the early 80's and first they would not even want to export that model to Finland. Suzuki importer was looking something to compete with honda monkey and the sell eventually began. Rest is history. Made them till the year 2000, most years exclusively to Finland and im guessing 95% of those made went to finish market.

    • @AutoBeta2T
      @AutoBeta2T  ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers Einar - maybe this one came from Finland then...? Definitely looked like a Honda C50 or Chinese copy engine. Maybe someone swapped it out? Never seen one before in the UK but it looked cool ☺️

      @@AutoBeta2T I believe that on your market or global market in generally they had an engine from a suzuki birdie, a scooter. It has had a phew names, usually gsxr50 or rb50. Ours was unique with that 2t engine and weight limitation. Here it was called just suzuki r or suzuki pv r. Sold between 87-89. I believe this our version with that rm50 based engine would entreat to collectors but Id be amazed if one would have landed in the UK :)

      Hi there I work for MIS we own this bike it is part of a series of bikes from the late 80s called "Gag bikes" it's a genuine road registered road legal 50cc four stroke. Yamaha, honda and I believe even triumph had their own versions of them. This is why the decals on the side of the bike say "Suzuki advanced comical system" these bike were genuinely produced as a joke by several manufacturers for a limited run. Hope you enjoyed the show and our stand thanks for paying us a visit 👍

      @@M-oneeleven-M111 Cheers for the info buddy :) So is the engine a Honda or Honda clone?
      Loved your stand and the whole show. I thought it was really good... there were a lot of very well presented bikes there. Roll on next year!

      @@AutoBeta2T the engine is Suzuki's own engine, to say it's a 50cc when its running it actually sounds like a much bigger engine because of the clever exhaust engineering Suzuki did to tune the sound. There was some absolutely exceptional bikes at the show, I have to say I fell in love with a immaculate Yamaha FZ that was at the two stroke stand along with the impressive RD that was there

      Is it an AM6 engine?

    • @simonwilliams2161
      @simonwilliams2161 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AutoBeta2T yes Motor is based on an Am6 But Jawa tricked it up. They blanked the stud holes in the case and drilled to fit a Scooter cylinder. It's got close ratio gear box fitted too real long 1st gear. It goes really well for a 70cc motor.

    Some lovely bike there....such a shame that so many two strokes have been bought to never be ridden and instead are just parked in a garage/shed and wheeled out for the odd show. What a waste - plus its made it real difficult for the real enthusiasts to be able to afford to buy them and actually use them.

    • @AutoBeta2T

      @@AutoBeta2T Love the look of the KR-1S - would much prefer one of those over the dead RGV250 VJ22 I have buried in the back of my shed! Also quite like the look of the red/white VJ21's.

      @@dwhxyz yeah - I had a VJ22 which I loved but when I lived at my parents there was a KR-1S in the next street - I think I was 16 at the time and always dreamed of having one... However I went with the Suzuki. I think the piston ring peg horror stories put me off.

      @@AutoBeta2T Going back to mopeds - like your AR80 I still have my 1976 FS1E that rode when I was 16 (I also have a 1975 model I picked up when I was ~19 for £20!). Once I finish off getting my RG500 race bike back up and running I may put it back on the road for a laugh. Won't be restored but will be as it was back in the day as no one rode round on mint restored mopeds! I'll drop link to photo in a separate comment - tried earlier and doing that made my comment disappear!
