Hi thanks for the video... How much money do they need you to have. Am busy saving up but I'm freaking out because the dollar to the Rand is crazy. I mean how do I know that what I have would be sufficient for them? Also I am self employed, getting paid through my own company. And I'm wanting to visit my boyfriend. Someone I met online and meeting for the first time . I feel as though my application wont be successful and I'm stressing out.

Got my visa today. They didn't ask for any document apart from my passport and payment receipt which i had already put inside my passport .they didn't ask for any document even when I tried to present my invitation letter. But the documents were my confidence booster

are u applying for B1B2? this visa is not for work. if company is inviting you to come and work, that one will require work permit and sponsorship from the organisation on your behalf.

Hello Alfred, I applied for a B2 visa last year and my appointment is coming soon. However, it has been a year since I applied and paid and I can't find the Visa fee receipt I got from the bank anywhere. I have an image of it on my phone, would it be enough if i print it and show it at the embassy?

What about the drivers licence of the person or even Birth certificate, if the person is a us citizen, cause they don't have passport yet

I filled out my DS-160 and in the intended length of stay, I had written 5 days instead of 1 month. So I’m wondering if I should stick to what was submitted in the DS-160 form when i go to the interview or..
Can I say i want to stay for 1 month during the interview? Will that raise any issues? Or will I have to fill out a new DS-160 form?
Also, can i edit the existing DS-160 form? Or will I have to submit a new one?

Hello There- My boyfriend is applying for the B1/B2 visa to attend a conference. The inviters sponsoring his trip are willing to provide Accomodations for him to stay for the 6 months so he can explore the US. There financial bank statements show a balance of 3.3K. Would that be enough? If not, would they consider a high balance credit card limit of 10,000? Should he say he wants to stay for 6 months at the interview or say a shorter period of time like one month due to low funds?
6 months stay with less funds he will be automatically denied. Because calculate the living expenses Plus ticket, transportation within USA, food, Accommodation, and other bills. what exactly will those invitees will benefit from his coming? which employer will give such long leave? and what return will they get from his long stay. his intention clearly shows he will never return.

Hey what if your a high school student what advice do you have for me?
You can take some letters from your school to prove ties to home
What if someone is sponsoring you,do u still need to go with your bank statement??
If you think you have enough in your account still present your bank statement to support your case incase something happened and you can't reach your sponsors you can take care of yourself at least 5 days In hotel and transportation.

check the city where your boyfriend lives minimum hotel daily rate, and advice yourself incase something happened how can you take care of yourself. to my understanding just try and save more. depends how long do you want to stay.

There is no timeline. It depends on the embassy you apply

How does the new 300 to 400 wait period for interview for some foreigners factor into coming for a wedding or a funeral? That’s about a whole year!!! The funeral or wedding would need to be pushed out for a whole year. 😢
