      This ones had a hard 6 year life for sure. Love orange5 but wish they used an aluminum case. I have a tendency to use hot air on it. The kapton tape helps a bit. I have my tl866 wrapped up with it as well.

    Thank you very much for your video.
    But the Font size or the format was very small couldn't see the screen at all.
    I'm about to get the orange tool as I'm a locksmith and do have a lot of great tools including ms909.

    Good day sir, what happens if the Dflash theres no info and EEE but Pflash is available is there a way to save for example a bcm that got corrupted, i was working on a Jaguar xf 2013 after battery removed it corrupted the front BCM

      For bmw if there is no dflash you have to use a known good dflash from another module and then code the unit same as you would a replacement. I dont know much about Jags but I assume it would be the same.

    hello friend es-que when you write eee and pflash es-que you also have to reprogram the dflash or you don't touch it

    • @ecurepair
      @ecurepair  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Writing is just pflash and eeprom. No dflash.

      @@ecurepair I don’t know what’s in the key or not, it’s just supposed to work with the key, but they didn’t send me with the device

    Why you delete pflash? its enough to write dflash to eee

    • @ecurepair
      @ecurepair  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think orange5 was being picky on that one for some reason and wasn't writing correctly till I cleared it all. I usually use xprog on them so cant recall at the moment why I had to when doing this video sorry.

    why did you make this video and not clearly show where the wire plug in the orange 5? Not to mention as you jumping around with the pins and skip saying the name of what you're plugging in? Seems obvious to focus a little bit on the actual connection. Then you open the software and say "Let's go into 'device''" and you clearly clicked "type" Why make a video, that should informative, and make no effort to avoid confusing people?

      @ecurepair  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I do call out each pin as I connect it. VCC, RST, BKDG=RXD and Ground. They are what they are. As for saying Device and clicking "type" I use a lot of tools. These are generic terms for going into the software and selecting the chip you will be reading. TYPE is short for TYPE OF DEVICE.

    hextag best for these and many other modules

    • @ecurepair
      @ecurepair  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Its not hard to do it with any tool that works with 9s12xeq384. Hexprog does have a nice dummy button to do everything for you it looks like which can make things easy. Personally I havent used it so I cant comment much on it. Thanks for watching.
